Lena is chatty and joins in the conversation which I love-it makes you feel like everyone is welcome and included. While I was checking out, she told us the most exciting part= you can bring in any vessel and she will fill it with candle wax! Think of all the perfect vessels you have at your house RIGHT NOW! Those could be candles! This is the kind of place you WANT to visit! The stuff inside is great as is the owner/designer/artist! Enjoy!

I found this place on Yelp and bookmarked it after reading all the great reviews. Overall, I was…read moredisappointed. The racks of clothing are too close together; it was almost impossible to navigate with a stroller or have 2 people in the same aisle at once. There is a separate room with books, games, and toys that is easier to walk through. I didn't see many of the brands others mentioned . It was a lot of Carter's and Cat & Jack stuff and mostly in fair to good condition. I did pick out a baby Gap sweater for $6, but when I went to pay, the credit card machine wasn't working. The woman who was working was very kind, but claimed that her machine didn't process cards with chips. The store does accept debit and credit cards, but my debit card with a chip seemed to pose a very puzzling problem. I considered going to the ATM next door, but hesitated bringing my baby into a vape shop. That just seemed weird. So I left the sweater behind.

Elizabeth Grace has all this and more, which makes it a perfect shop for purchase things for myself, or on a more generous day, gifts for others. The greeting card selection is fun and unique, but I tend to lean toward dollar store or, when I'm feeling splurgy, Target greeting cards. Prices are about the same as what you'd pay at shops like Papersource or Papyrus. The entire back of the shop is dedicated to custom invitations if that's your style. I wasn't shopping for anything in particular, but I could have easily spent $100 here on various zip bags (a yellow bag proclaiming, "Make Every Day an Adventure,") candles, notepads, lip gloss (lychee macaron!), and writing instruments.

I even called a couple of weeks later to see if maybe she just forgot or got busy with something else (I realize things can come up and thought I'd give her the benefit of the doubt). She told me then that she was backlogged with proposals but that she would get back to me with a proposal right away. After 6 weeks, I'm pretty sure she's just written me off entirely. I can't belive I went through the effort of setting up a meeting with my fiancee (who's work schedule is pretty hectic) and my mother (who lives out of the country), only to never receive a response back. Horrible customer service! We ended up ordering our invites at Pulp & Ink, which I HIGHLY recommend. Jeff was wonderful to work with and he was able to have a proposal for me by the end of our consultation. Can't beat that!

We spent a few minutes looking at the clothes and other jewelry for sale and they had some really cute stuff, and prices seemed pretty reasonable especially for a small boutique. The highlight was definitely the woman who did our bracelets, she was so friendly and helpful and really made it a fun experience. They have a decently sized collection in both silver and gold, along with little charms you can add which I recommend! We walked in and had no wait on a Sunday afternoon, but apparently it can get busy so you may want to make a reservation.

But I've followed on Instagram and they have some beautiful jewelry, and I love jewelry, so I stopped in today whilst waiting for my coffee order at The Coffee Studio to be ready. The staff were nice; I was greeted immediately upon entering. I did get there as they were opening, so it was just me and the three employees. I wandered around for ten minutes or so. They have some beautiful merchandise for sure, and work with local artists as well as those further afield for their jewelry (at the very least). They carry pieces from at least half a dozen artists. Most of it is gold, and I'm not a fan of gold but they had a few silver pieces that interested me and I may be back for. The clothing was a skip for me, since I'm not sure they carry anything above a size four or so. They also had some clips/hair bands/head bands, and why did I spend a ridiculous amount on these? Because they're beautiful, I guess. I think what originally brought WG to my attention is that they do permanent jewelry. I'm really intrigued by this so I've checked into the places I know do it in the city. WG has particularly beautiful chains, and they have a variety of charms from red which to choose (I like the mama one now that I can call myself that!). I need to look at price and confirm that this is where I want to do permanent jewelry... but I think I might be back for that. As a word to the wise, the employee told me that I could come and do it as a walk in, but they recommend appointments on the weekend because it can be very busy. There's nothing but street parking around here, and it's not in the busiest part of Andersonville where there's more parking. There's some street parking on the surrounding streets, and don't forget about Ashland or as far north as Victoria and whatnot up by Gethsemane, which also has a short metered portion.
