The owner, Maya, was there and it was so great chatting with her and learning more about the shop. I ended up getting a toddler gardening set and tea set, plus some wind-up furry chicks and bunnies. When someone finally came to help, he barely made an effort and just pointed at things instead of actually showing us how they worked. What really bothered me was watching the staff go out of their way to help white customers while we were standing there waiting. Even after someone finally started helping us, they were already checking on other white couples. I don't like jumping to conclusions, but when you're the only brown/muslim people in the store and you're consistently treated differently from everyone else, it's hard not to notice. We came in as paying customers and expected the same basic respect as everyone else. Definitely won't be coming back.

They pointed out a couple areas where they have "girl" baby clothes (I mean, clothing doesn't have a gender but we exist in the world where people like to do that). Most of their clothes are for children older than mine but they did have a few things. It's definitely expensive, though, so I don't know that I'd buy a lot here. I did buy some very cute barrettes for my baby (I've found it hard to find some that don't have pieces attached to them, and I don't want pieces that might pull off) and I'll probably purchase more at some point. Downstairs is "the vault", which features sizes up to 14/16 with sales up to 40% (maybe more depending on the time of the year). The vault is sectioned by sizes. At the bottom of the stairs is a clearance size with the discount percentage for the entire room. I visited in early October 2024 and there were many discounted spring/summer styles, with a few sweaters and sweatpants options. There's a couch in the middle of the floor to take a break or for your children so you can shop uninterrupted. The fitting room is upstairs toward the back of the store. Enjoy cute trinkets near the check-out register, plus the cutest wrapping paper that can be purchased. Sarah, the buyer and manager I believe, was so sweet and helped me hide some gifts from my daughter after she identified things she wanted. It's woman-owned, minority-owned and has a woman's boutique right next door, 16 suitcases.
