They pointed out a couple areas where they have "girl" baby clothes (I mean, clothing doesn't have a gender but we exist in the world where people like to do that). Most of their clothes are for children older than mine but they did have a few things. It's definitely expensive, though, so I don't know that I'd buy a lot here. I did buy some very cute barrettes for my baby (I've found it hard to find some that don't have pieces attached to them, and I don't want pieces that might pull off) and I'll probably purchase more at some point. I also will check out their holiday stuff and may look at the coats they have as well, as the weather cools down. I'll certainly keep an eye on their Instagram, too.

Same goes for leggings...I wish they had more color options. The prices are reasonable and even better if you are able to shop when there is a sale. If you are buying for a new baby keep in mind they run small. They will box and put bow on anything you need wrapped. The sales associates are always super nice and helpful with seeing if they have extra sizes in the back. Parking on Halstead can be a bit tricky on weekends.

The owners (husband and wife) deserve an award for exemplary customer service! My daughters 5 & 1 were having their first photo shoot together. I saw that the new collection of Moschino dresses would be perfect for the Valentine's Day themed shoot. I typically work up until about 5-8pm so I was unable to get to the boutique before closing. I expressed to them my frustration, how sad I was, and how I NEEDED those dresses and they actually met me near my job a good 30-35 min ride from the boutique to personally deliver the dresses! They are just amazing people and it makes you feel good about spending that type of money. They earn my business any day and they for sure should earn yours as well. They deserve it!!!

They just close the door on your face. No "good morning," or "we'll be right with you". I am convinced the only reason they stay open is because if they have some exclusive deal. I have to update my review... I find their events system REALLY frustrating. Like... where are…read morethese events they advertise? The current issue is that they've advertised something on their Instagram, and they don't have a link to this particular event on their Instagram page. I asked a couple times before getting a response about where to find the event, and was told it's on the website. But the events section (which is at the bottom of the page, called Community Events in the small print where you usually look for contact info) has events from nine months ago because when I clicked on one that said April, it said that the event is completed. It should not be this damn hard to find events that they're advertising weeks in advance, nor having to ask multiple times a few days apart to get some sort of help. I had to use the search function to find the event, and that was successful only because I knew the name of it; if I was trying to browse what events they were hosting I would have been out of luck. They have a lot of good things going for them, but it's simply ridiculous that this is so difficult when literally any other company that hosts events has some sort of easily found, top-level link to them for people to find. When I finally did find the event and went to sign up, there's no time listed so I had to go back to Instagram to find it... make it make sense.

The sale rack is a real winner - small but mighty, got an adorable winter coat/parka at a good discount. Staffers and owner are helpful and friendly (style is more relaxed, let you do your thing, help as needed/asked). Free validated garage parking in the Roosevelt plaza/shopping center. While I can't speak to the events issues the one other review mentioned, I'll note that this is an independent, local children's shop that also hosts events - so while I hear the frustration, I'd suggest that event registrations/website sign-up issues shouldn't be the main basis for which they're judged. Check them out!

They had some cute children's bunting as we get closer to the winter months. They were having an "indoor sidewalk sale", with some of their items being up to 75% off--this included clothes, toys, books, and other items and knickknacks. They had some books and stuffed animals that complement the books, like the Little Blue Truck and Corduroy. I bought a cute little dress for the holidays for my daughter, as well as a lovely sweater for the upcoming season. Their children's stuff isn't cheap, but it's not unreasonable for an independent children's store. I was really thankful that I found a place that sells clothing for children--in this case, holiday wear in particular--that is machine washable, because oftentimes children's clothing is marked as dry clean only (whyyyy). There is street parking in this area which can be limited, but I think there's also a Metra stop half a block away from the store.
