I came in recently to get permanent bracelets done with my friend and we had a great experience. Even before going in I appreciated that prices were listed on the website so I knew what to expect and could browse options. We spent a few minutes looking at the clothes and other jewelry for sale and they had some really cute stuff, and prices seemed pretty reasonable especially for a small boutique. The highlight was definitely the woman who did our bracelets, she was so friendly and helpful and really made it a fun experience. They have a decently sized collection in both silver and gold, along with little charms you can add which I recommend! I have been curious about Winifred Grace for some time; it's in the neighborhood but I've never really had a chance (or found the parking) to visit. But I've followed on Instagram and they have some beautiful jewelry, and I love jewelry, so I stopped in today whilst waiting for my coffee order at The Coffee Studio to be ready. The staff were nice; I was greeted immediately upon entering. I did get there as they were opening, so it was just me and the three employees. I wandered around for ten minutes or so. They have some beautiful merchandise for sure, and work with local artists as well as those further afield for their jewelry (at the very least). They carry pieces from at least half a dozen artists. Most of it is gold, and I'm not a fan of gold but they had a few silver pieces that interested me and I may be back for. The clothing was a skip for me, since I'm not sure they carry anything above a size four or so. They also had some clips/hair bands/head bands, and why did I spend a ridiculous amount on these? Because they're beautiful, I guess. I think what originally brought WG to my attention is that they do permanent jewelry. I'm really intrigued by this so I've checked into the places I know do it in the city. WG has particularly beautiful chains, and they have a variety of charms from red which to choose (I like the mama one now that I can call myself that!). I need to look at price and confirm that this is where I want to do permanent jewelry... but I think I might be back for that. As a word to the wise, the employee told me that I could come and do it as a walk in, but they recommend appointments on the weekend because it can be very busy. There's nothing but street parking around here, and it's not in the busiest part of Andersonville where there's more parking. There's some street parking on the surrounding streets, and don't forget about Ashland or as far north as Victoria and whatnot up by Gethsemane, which also has a short metered portion. read more

I haven't popped back into Winifred Grace for a while (too long) and WOW did they get a GLOW UP!!! The store is now two store fronts with the same aspirational interior and mix of things. There's even a dedicated counter space for their version of the permanent bracelet trend (Love Linked). As always, the gals in the shop are lovely. The background music even lovelier. It's easy to drift off daydreaming that you're shopping in Paris while you're here. Probably one of their candles, so many local artisans featured! Review update - First and foremost - I still love this place but I did want to update my review after my second visit. Excited (and quite obsessed) about my first two love linked bracelets, I decided to come back for a third one the following Saturday. Yes, not even a whole week!! I was so excited and still on such a high of my previous visit the past Sunday that I was really looking forward to add to my wrist. Unfortunately, this particular Saturday afternoon was a little different. The staff seemed pretty disinterested, the owner was also present and I thought that was pretty exciting after I have been following their Instagram for a few weeks, I got a glimpse into her life. (Super cool woman, okay?!). Not a word. In her defense, it was a little busy when we walked in But the entire visit, even when it was me and one other in the store, the owner never said a word. I was a little sad, just because I would have so much to say. (The store is beautiful, the staff during my first visit was AMAZING and because of this, I am a forever fan and back within a week for a third bracelet) Maybe this is a high expectation of mine but I was so hyped over all the good things people have to say about Winnie, I was let down and unable to share that feeling. I also completely get that this could have just been an off day for her. (Hey, we all have them!) The welder was so nice and definitely the highlight of my visit. She was able to resize my box chain that may have stretched over the past week along with being very friendly and welcoming. (She even mentioned the previous welder put the wrong size link on and it was a good thing we can resize so we can add the correct size! - not that I even knew!) When I went to pay, I was charged and on my way! However, when I went to look at the receipt, they had charged me an additional $15 for a "new weld spot" or resize/re-link. Now, if this would have been a month or two out and it needed to be resized I would have no issue paying the $15. But, less than a week and no mention of the up charge from the welder or woman who rang up my purchase? That was disappointing and I politely asked them if this was really necessary and they had to call to get permission as the owner had stepped out of the store by this point. Not to mention the $500 that was spent in the past week from mine, my mother's, and partners bracelets. I'm very happy my first visit went so well but I wish I could say the same about this second time. (Sept. 16th) I will just remember that the Sunday Crew rocks and keep my visits to Sundays! We had a tough time finding someone that would emboss a tie clip, and luckily we found Winifred Grace! Karen and Ella were so helpful by guiding us in choosing the right size and font. While we were waiting we couldn't help but notice what a beautiful shop it was, with elevated women's clothing and jewelry as well as fun accessories for the home. We will visit again! read more

I am here visiting and love boutiques. My adult daughter and I saw the sign voted best women's clothing, so we stopped in. No one acknowledged us as we walked in and no one asked if we needed help. We were in the shop for a good 15 minutes. My daughter even used the fitting room. Others came in and were greeted and assisted . I prefer to patronize businesses that not only have quality merchandise, but also have excellent customer service. We had just visited another nearby boutique and they were nice and helpful but not overly in your business, and it was a great experience. We purchased several items from them. We will be returning. Cute shop but do not bother going in if you are middle aged (or, worse, older). You will be made to feel most unwelcome and your requests for help (such as asking someone to reach for a hat that is too high on the shelf) will be ignored. The only time they will speak to you is when you finally leave when they will say a relieved "goodbye!" But the bright spot is that you will then be free to buy a much better hat, for fewer dollars, in the gift shop of the lovely nursery up the street. read more

More like 3.5 stars... I really like this shop. It's beautifully curated and beautifully designed. The staff is friendly and warm. I appreciate that they stock local shoe (like the incredibly yummy KJ Made flats) and jewelry makers, and also that they offer items at a range of price points. I've found a few favorite pieces here, including an oversized shirt dress and a tweed jacket. I would love to give it a five-star rating! My one complaint -- and it is a kind of big one, considering how much I would spend here if this weren't a problem -- is that the clothing is, by and large, not very size-inclusive. And by size-inclusive, I mean suitable for anyone larger than a standard women's size 8. Never mind being inclusive enough to accommodate, say, plus sizes (which would be amazing!). It's challenging to find something at Winifred Grace that fits even just the average (middle-aged mom-bod) physique. I tend to hover between medium and large (8 or 10) in most brands, and almost *every* dress or top or pair of pants I've tried here has topped out in a large (which is often sold out), and the large is still much too small. Like, can't zip over my boobs or close around my waist, small. Which is a damned shame, because the clothes are *so pretty*! I mean, even just offering an XL (which in most of these brands would seem to be the equivalent of an L) would have me opening up my wallet so much more often. I want to give you my money, Winifred Grace! Please stock more things that would fit me! read more

Beautiful space with awesome finds. The jewelry is really special but don't limit yourself at just their jewelry-they have lovely home goods and great clothing options. The employees and owner are always super helpful and go above and beyond. I have gotten numerous permanent bracelets from WG, and loved my experience with them (even getting them reattached when I had to remove them for surgery). I was so happy to see that they were expanding their space and finally had a chance to stop in this past weekend. The space is beautiful, there is clearly so much intentionality and care put into each display and item selected for sale. The reason I've dinged a star is that I was really disappointed in the size availability and the attention I received from the sales associate on the floor. I was asked repeatedly if she could help me find something while I browsed through the clothing racks (there weren't any other shoppers in the store while I visited) and upon the third time being asked after having been in the shop for about five minutes, it struck me that perhaps she was asking this because they so clearly did not carry my size (street size 16). While I hope this isn't the case, I have had this experience before at boutiques and it definitely didn't feel friendly by the time she asked a third time. I hope that WG will consider extending their size offerings, it would be nice to have somewhere in the neighborhood to be able to pick up a few high-quality pieces from in person. read more

As a Father I will often go shopping with my two picky Daughters. Usually it is a dull long experience as my family searches for something that meets their standards. This was not the case at Winifred Grace they had no trouble finding unique clothing to try on. The owner was warm and engaging with me and showed me her jewelry while they shopped.
