We had a really good time until the end when we went to cash in our cards for tickets. The lady Courtney was rude to the children and me when we did not know what to do with 10 cards and how to add all the tickets up to one. She literally took the cards and put them down and did not help us at all. I could not believe she was rude to the other children either. Went here on a school day and thought id be greeted and given some general info. about this place but she quickly rang us up and didnt even ask kids ages or anything..i noticed she was busy doing college work at the front desk..kids were their 5mins and the place looked so unkept and dirty..crickets on slides..dirty carpet..i quickly asked for a refund and the girl got the manager..he didnt ask me what was wrong or anything. Our first trip was amazing and we couldn't wait to go back. We went back a month later for a friends birthday party. Everything seemed great except that someone defected and bleed in the tunnel area. Nasty smell and such a let down when the staff was informed of the mess but chose to not shut that particular area down. Disgusting to say the least! This place is so awesome! Its two giant indoor playgrounds connected and your kids will play for hours! The best thing about this place is the price though, it's super cheap! Very excellent facility. The staff is very friendly and birthday parties are very easy to book here. Prices are pretty low and the party hosts make sure to take care of everything for you from cutting the cake to decorating to even cleaning up. This place is super fun! My son meets with a social skills group here on Fridays, and then afterward the kiddos get to play. The staff seem to be super nice. The facility is big, with a huge play area downstairs, and a game area upstairs. I feel like the prices are fair. It's a huge death trap. My kid got stuck act the top of it and was scared because it was so high and there's not an easy way to go up or down. Finally when she got down she was scared to death and didn't want to play anymore. So we left and the manager refused a refund. read more

We had our daughter's 8th birthday party here. The service from our party attendants was top notch. I didn't have to worry about anything. They set everything up for me, served the food, cake, helped with the gifts. It was great. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. This is the most unorganized place to have a birthday party EVER. They charged us for kids that were not even in our party. There were kids sitting at in our birthday room who did not even know my son. I called after the party to get things corrected and the very smug manager argued with me saying it was impossible for someone to sign in for our party on accident. There is NO where to organize or for parents and kids to be greeted. They nickel and dime you to death. In the end...it was an expensive embarrassing mess. I would never have a party there again. This place would be a great place if it was well taken care of and if they hired people who actually knew what they were doing. I hated this place because of the horrible customer service. Once we arrived and paid we had no idea what to do. The person in the front did not tell us we needed to purchase a card. We asked him how does this all works and he says how does what work.... I then asked him what do we need to play the games and he says oh you need a card.... This guy rang us up at the register and didn't even mention any cards we needed to purchase. I also noticed during the time here that they don't check when the people leave out the door. An alarm rings but they just look and stare without checking the kids and the adults so be careful because your kids can disappear with someone else since they're so careless. They stand there at the front desk laughing and messing with the microphone. I asked the guy in the front another question. When does the food court close? He says in 5 minutes... We go to the food court and were standing there not one person coming up to us. One of the parents came up to us and said the food court has been closed for an hour already. I notice the whole time were standing there the workers are walking passing us by and does not even come to us to let us know the kitchen is closed. This place is very dirty and very low class. My children had a good time, and the prices were reasonable, however, the management refused to allow me to bring a fruit plate along with the cake, to accommodate for a food sensitivity so that the food sensitive person could have a dessert item while others were eating cake. The restaurant does not offer a fruit plate, and I was informed that I would have to choose between cake - for a three year old's birthday party - or a fruit plate. Even days after, the management refuses to acknowledge that their options of a gluten free pizza, and a veggie tray are insufficient. That is until I started noticing one of the managers, Mr.Payton being a little too "friendly" and "touchy" with some of the female employees. The playscape was cool. Not nearly as chaotic as one would think for something like this. I was able to get in with my kids a few times and did't prolapse any vulnerable areas on my body and my spine didn't feel like it had been shoved through a pretzel machine. The place does smell like sweaty kid feet......it would be nice if they could have the children hose off their feet before entering this establishment, but my guess is then it would smell just like a generally sweaty kid....I'm not sure how you eat subpar food while your sense of smell is being assaulted in such a way, but if you are and choose to do so the food is expensive and is exactly what you would expect. I didn't witness poop in the play area, no children were bleeding, although I did have a few kids ask me to stop some other kids from "beating them up". The "workers" are truly PATHETIC....I truly believe they are more interested in dissociating to remain numb and disconnected so they can get through their shift. I had one girl back "over" my 3 year old because she was walking backwards and talking to her buddy about Facebook. She didn't even apologize.....I would have made her but she was probably bigger than me so I decided not to go there. The games were 40% broken and most of the broken games had no sign and would take your money and then not work. No one who worked there cared....not shocking. For the money and just for the playscape, I would say go when its not crowded and keep an eye on your kids......let me repeat this statement. KEEP YOUR EYE ON YOUR KIDS....they are yours and letting 4 teen girls who are looking at their phone more than your kids is purely irresponsible. I'm giving it five stars because my 3 y/o LOVES this place and cries every time we have to leave. The price is also really cheap compared to other kid places. We usually spend 2-4 hours here. She never gets sick which is surprising considering all the small kids running around so I imagine they must clean really good. The course has many obstacles and cool slides. I find it very safe, there's no way to fall off. I do get scared when I'm up high with her crossing the bridges. When you walk in they stamp you and your kid to make sure they do not leave with someone other than you. There's an arcade for toddlers and it's very nice. The arcade upstairs for older kids or adults is also fun. I usually do not have time to eat but I did have the funnel cake once and it was good. They have a water pitcher in the food court so the kids can hydrate, I find it more sanitary than a water fountain. They have a room just for adults and I see many parents in there reading. The staff is average, not the most friendly bunch but good. read more

My kids are 9 and 11 maybe they are just getting to old for places like this. They had an ok time but we're a little bored and it was to crowded. The "arcade" was an out of order air hockey table, a few ticket machines and some skeeball. No video games or pinball or anything really arcade like. Wished I would have noticed that the games were out of order or just worthless before buying a play card. Thankfully you can use the card to buy food. The food was bad to. Got a soft pretzel and cheese nachos. The nachos had a funny taste and made my husband sick. The sodas were given to us with no lids and were over flowing had to walk to the other counter for lids. There was soda spills everywhere. The bathrooms were gross toilet paper all over the floor and toilets that didn't flush. And got to watch a poor Muslim family get harassed by an old white guy with a bible. Ran them right out if there. Poor people just there to have fun with there kids. Place is just dirty and a zoo. No supervision, no cleaning just crazy and gross. But cheap.. for a reason. read more

I planned a surprise birthday party for two of my sons today. My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The party went over well and all of our guests were happy and had fun! The only take back from this visit was due to management and poor customer service. While trying to leave, my son who has autism was being difficult and I needed extra time to get him settled into the car in order for me to settle my tab. Upon walking out of the exit, I advised the young lady at the door I was coming back in to pay my bill. Apparently the message was not communicated and when I entered back into the building and was at the front desk, the manager was discussing my party with the staff while other customers and myself were standing around. I didn't hear the whole conversation but I saw him with my paperwork and making a reference to it. Another young lady came over to help me and I asked her was her manager talking about me to them. She looked like a deer caught in the headlights and got quiet. She asked me to hold on and wait to speak with the manager. He came over and rang up my bill and I asked him was he talking about me as well. He stated that he was training his employees on the proper protocol if someone walks out without paying. He stated that people have stiffed them before and not paid their bill and there wasn't anything they could do about it. It upset me that a manager would handle a situation as he did. I advised him that I told the young lady at the door that I was coming back in but I needed to get my children settled first. Before I left I voiced to him to not treat everyone like a thief. I had every intention of paying my bill and it was a horrible way to handle the situation. In the future, coaching staff in front of customers is not a good look especially if the person is standing there. read more

Booked this place for a birthday party on a Saturday from 2-4. BIG MISTAKE! NOT VERY CLEAN, NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PARTIES. AUTOMATIC 25% GRATUITY, THEN THEY HAD THE NERVE TO ASK IF I WANTED TO LEAVE AN ADDITIONAL TIP. Atmosphere: Recently had a party for my toddler at this place and it was so crowded that we could not even enjoy ourselves. I was actually concerned that the number of people in the place was definitely a fire code issue. Had it been this crowded when I toured the place on a Saturday around 11:00 AM., I would have kept going. The place wasn't as crowded when we left, so maybe I just booked the party at a bad time. Party issues: My party was scheduled from 2-4 with the expectation that my guest could play from 2-3 and then enter the party room from 3-4 for cake. We were not issued game cards until 4, when the party was basically over. So nobody wanted to stay and play. Which is understandable. In the future I think that the guest should be issued their game card as they enter the facility. Another issue is that I was not notified when the staff started setting up my party room. They simply took my decorations and decorated it the way they wanted to without my input (I was very upset about that). Also, the hostess cut the pieces of cake too large, which ended up wasting a lot of cake, as this was a party for mostly toddlers. One HUGE issue that I also had a problem with was that my guest were instructed to leave their gifts for my child on an unattended cart until it was time to enter the party room. Yet there was a sign that stated that "we are not responsible for stolen items." Cleanliness: The party room that I booked needed to be vacuumed. There were crumbs all over the floor. On top of that, when I entered the party room, there was a dirty cleaning rag sitting on the counter right next to our food. On our way out I noticed a cart with pizza sitting on the bottom rack, which was just inches from the floor. Also, A child had a bloody nose in the maze area, yet the area was not shut down for proper cleaning. If your a germaphobe this probably isn't the place for you or your family member. Safety: Inattentive staff at the exit. Older children playing in the section designated for children 3 years and younger. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

A great place to bring kids (at a good price too) that crave physical activity and have difficulty keeping still. Kids with ADHD will love it here as well as many kids on the Autistic Spectrum (generally speaking...of course depending on their physical level of functioning and their sensory issues). Talking and interactive communication is pretty unnecessary here where kids of all kinds can play and play until they are exhausted! Special needs kids can have a hard time connecting with other children for a variety of reasons...they are self-conscious, they don't know what to say, or they don't verbally communicate very well or at all. None of this matters here where all kids are equally able to play "together" in a well-supervised place. Everyone's hand is stamped and the entrance and exits are guarded so kids aren't allowed to go outside without appropriate supervision. Having this security is MAJOR for families of Autistic/Aspergers children who bolt/elope from situations often running out into parking lots, streets, etc. Taking these children for an outing is generally a high-stress situation....just going to the neighborhood park can be scary and fraught with anxiety because the child can so easily experience a sensory overload and run away . There are very few fun venues where a child cannot escape the environment allowing the family to relax! At least, here at Kid Mania, if the child experiences difficulty, the family can address the problem and leave with the child if needed without having to chase him out the door and into a dangerous parking area. While my child has social issues (Aspergers), sensory issues, hates malls and noisy family events, his love of physical activity greatly overrides these usually problematic issues and he absolutely loves it here. In fact, we usually have to carry him out! He never gets tired! I've seen reviews about the cleanliness, but every time we've been there, it has been clean and didn't smell of feet. Socks are required here. I'm sure it's a constant challenge to keep such a large place clean, so I don't fault them on this. As for the rest of the place, there is a huge area for parents to watch their kids, eat, study, whatever and the food here is good! There is a good variety plus ice cream, cookies, etc. ! I love the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple Pizza! They don't skimp on the toppings! We didn't use the Arcade, but this upstairs area was definitely being used when we walked through it. My only complaint is that the food and drinks are a bit expensive. But, an individual pizza is meal-size and hearty enough to fill you up so it's a pretty good deal. I do think they should have free drink refills maybe on the large size. read more

I don't know how this place stays open. The games were okay and the climbing structures kept my kids happy, BUT... what's going on with the rude and poorly trained kids working the front register. They lack training and any type of training or manners. Paid to get in and no mention of having to buy a card to win tickets from the arcade game. Was told their was a special $10 for $15 but the girl said I couldn't purchase $20 for $30. I than said can you put in 2 separate times for $10. She gave me a dirty look and than said, "Oh, it went through for $20." Why offer the special when you don't know how it works. When my kids went to redeem their tickets the same blond girl acted like she was annoyed at getting my kids their prizes and was always reluctant to answer any questions and she didn't like it when we asked how many tickets we had left after each toy. It's not like she had to use some type difficult math formula to figure it out. The total after each toy redemption automatically shows up on her computer that was on her scanner!!! One big problem is having untrained, rude teenagers be in charge of a place where safety should be the utmost significance. Why do we need to show our handstamps to leave. The exit door has an alarm when opened and I saw toddler after toddler just go out the exit door. Even though the alarm would sound, there was no one to check why or who left. I was in the parking lot ready to leave and saw a 3-4 year old come out the exit door by himself and start running in the parking lot. I was able to get the little boy before he got hurt and bring him back inside. His parents were inside going crazy looking for him because the same blond girl was telling them that their child couldn't have left because the alarm would have sounded if the exit door was opened. She didn't know what to say when I walked in with the child and told the parents what happened. The booths and tables were all full of pizza crusts, dirty napkins, spilled drinks and just plain dirty. I've been to Chucky Cheese, SuperFranks etc. and they have teens working there but guess what. They are helpful, happy, respectfull and responsible about children leaving and I feel my kids are safe when we go. I am on the board of Autism Speaks and we have lists of places in every state where it is safe to bring children with special needs but Kid Mania will be on the list of places to avoid. We, as parents, can not take all risks of coming to this establishment. I haven't checked whether Kid Mania is a franchise or not but Autism Speaks will be contacting their main office and let them know what happened and also why Kid Mania will be labeled as a place to avoid for all children. Visited Kid Mania on 8/11/15. Needs adult management on site; only saw college age employees working all areas. Visiting mid-morning - reasonable amount of children there so visit was good; however, left and came back early afternoon on the same day. Two large groups had since arrived. LOTS of kids running all over and some very aggressively playing/climbing around. This is a huge concern for any younger children trying to play. There's an area for the younger children; however, both areas are intermingled and older children can actually crawl/climb around and end up in the younger area. Several kids climbing on the tea pot riding machine and airplane; when these machines were only able to carry 2-3 kids. Kids were trying to turn the machine when actually is it supposed to automatically run once you pay for it to run. NO monitoring of any activity (running, abuse of the machines, kids playing too aggressively, etc.). Tables were dirty, saw no one cleaning them. Could be a good place to visit when attendance is very low & management has improved. If parking lot is full, find another activity for the day! read more
