I go to a lot of these kids indoor playgrounds with my kids- this one is AWESOME. Lots of different things to do, but still small enough for kids to run and play and not feel like you are too far away. Great mix of physical activity toys (jungle gyms, etc), as well as imaginative play stuff (costumes, grocery store, doll house), and then even an area in the front with puzzles and toys if your kid isn't as active. They let you bring your own food (a plus for us since one kid has special dietary needs) Wasn't too loud (some places have music blaring- they had it playing quietly, liked that) And then y'all- they have a massage chair that is reasonably priced! (In all the places I've been to, that's a new one for us) All of our kids (from ages 1 - 7) had a fantastic time! Very reasonably priced for what you get! read more

PARTY TIPS: Here are some tips before booking a party at the allen location. Jill, the manager will try to upsell you. Remember the child is young. If you want to save some money, then don't fall for the upsell. You pay up to $150 extra for an arch, but they will always use an arch for a party whether you pay for it or not. The arches are already made and used repeatedly for weeks at parties. They'd be more honest to say you're renting an arch instead of leading people to believe their arch will be special for their party. My mom friends and I figured this out after attending a few parties over a few weeks. one friend paid for the arch. another friend didn't pay for an arch but the manager told her that "they gifted her the arch for the party as a thank you". It was the SAME arch my friend paid for the week before. Another balloon tip: When the friend purchased the arch she asked to choose colors and was told that was another add on fee. She asked if she paid extra for the custom color arch if she'd be able to take the arch home and she was told no. Takeaway: don't pay extra for balloons. Another tip is to know that the large service charge added to the parties is not gratuity for the hostesses. My friend who had the first party thought the service charge was part of the gratuity because it's about 10% of the party cost. But then my other friend had her party and discovered it isn't gratuity, but instead a cleaning/supply fee. The hostess's don't receive gratuity like most party places do. The reason my first friend thought it was included was because the service fee is about 10% of the party AND there wasn't a place to add gratuity on to the receipt. Takeaway: If you want to leave a tip, then you have to ask them to add gratuity to the bill. The next tip would be not to buy extra pizza from Dino Kidz in Allen. They purchase their pizzas in the same shopping strip a few doors down from the playground at Spazo's. You can save a few dollars per pizza by ordering extra pizza yourself. The last tip is about fruit/veggies. The fee is around $50. They buy the fruit from the store and pour it on a plate. It would be a lot more cost effective for you to grab your own tray before coming. read more

If you have a child under 2-3 years old, this place is perfect for you. The play areas are clean and the staff cleans/picks up every 1.5-2 hours it seems. Everything is padded and there are plenty of places to sit for parents. Even if your child runs off, you can see them from any seating position. This play area eases my mommy anxiety and my 18 month old can explore and climb. They sell snacks and water if you forget your own. I highly recommend coming here if you have small children. We visited Dino kids for the first time today and I could not be happier that we discovered this little gem. We drove from Carrollton and this was worth the drive. I have two kids and they are young and it's very hard for me to take them To the park or bigger playgrounds because I can't chase two kids. I felt so comfortable letting my kids roam free here. The place was much cleaner than I expected. We had to wear socks and at the end my kids socks were totally clean still! The staff is so so friendly. They sell snacks and have a designated food area so you can bring lunch for your kids. Lots of age appropriate toys perfect for very young kids but fun bigger stuff for preschoolers etc. bathrooms are perfect for kids and they have changing tables. At noon they do dance time on this stage and it's just the cutest thing ever. We will most definitely be regulars here! read more

Adding to my previous review. I maintain what I've said that Dino Kidz is the better option for younger kids, my youngest now being 3. We also tried out their birthday party services and had her 3rd birthday here and I would highly recommend. I didn't want to do any planning or decorating or stressing out and Dino Kidz birthday party made that happen for us. They did everything! From the food to the activities, to keeping us on a schedule. I didn't have to think about anything and that's exactly what I wanted. You basically pick out the package you want which comes with varying levels of food, decorations, and other add ons. You pick a theme, send your invites and just show up! The kids all ate the food served (nuggets fruit and pizza) and had a cupcake. There was the right amount of play time and the right amount of organized activity (food, dance party, bubble party, birthday singing etc). Everything went very smooth and it was all just so easy. This is the VERY best indoor playground/activity I have seen in 34 years as a parent and 15 years as a Gramma. The activities are very well-designed, and my 3 1/2 year old grandson loved it. He was so happy to see all of the different stations - he played for 2 1/2 hours and was constantly learning and enjoying. Also, I noticed the play areas are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We had my daughters first bday here and it was amazing. Staff are incredible and they went above and beyond for us. We are very grateful to have been treated so well and their follow up after the party was amazing. I wish I was closer now cause it's a great play space for kiddos. We went today (Monday at about 10am) and loved it! It was super slow when we got there - perfect. Picked up from about 10:30-11:30. I think this place is great for toddlers. I would say perfect once they are waking/climbing. My son is almost 2.5 and there was nothing he couldn't do on his own. Which is perfect for exploring and gaining confidence. The activities vary. There is climbing, ball pit, sides, kitchens, piano mat, lite brite, blocks, dress up, etc. Very clean. They have one bathroom with a changing table and glider chair for nursing moms which was amazing since we brought my 3 month old as well. Socks are required! Or about $3 to buy there. But they are generic black socks, so bring your own. Adults too! read more

We found this place while visiting family over the holidays. It's super cute and there's plenty to do. They cater towards younger children (up to 7 yrs old I think) and they have a separated toddler area, which is great bc it was the perfect size for my one year old. It was a bit warm inside when we went but we weren't able to stay long so it wasn't a big deal. Dino Kidz is also clean! They require you to sanitize your hands before entering so that's a plus! I think we paid $10 or $11 ( can't remember). If we lived in the area, we would be back often for sure! Great place to let your little run free and get their energy out, esp on a cold or rainy day! What a fun place to bring your little ones to spend their morning being busy exploring and playing. They even have an entrance just for the children to enter the building! So fun! We registered online and filled out the waiver so once we arrived it was very easy to check in! The person at the front desk was very friendly and explaining to me everything. Just FYI no drinks and food inside the play area (which makes sense as you don't want water spills or food crumbs everywhere). The play area is separated in various sections to play. Even you might think it is quite small, my 4 year old had so much fun that he actually didn't want to leave even after 2 hours of playing! From the climbing structure/ hands on activities on the wall, merry go round and pretend play area. He had a blast playing and exploring. They also offer story time and guided play time around 10:30. All the children were engaged and happy to listen to the stories and follow the activities (like parachute/bubble play time). This is a perfect place to come for all children ages 5 and under and maybe even for homeschool children up to 2nd grade to spend their mornings here. I also appreciate the constant cleaning from the staff and that they engage and help with the children's play! Totally worth the admission fee (11.99 per child plus tax). Also don't forget your socks! The only request I would have is maybe the volume of the music being played inside the play area. Some speakers are set on max and it can get pretty loud during dance/play time. My child loved it so much and can't wait to come back soon! This is a wonderful place for toddlers. Older kids might get bored. You can see them everywhere they go. No really high tubes and slides. They have an adorable dance floor and music and light that come on periodically so they kids can dance. They also from time to time blow bubbles for the kids to enjoy. My toddler (2.5/M) and I had our first visit to Dino Kids today, and he had a BLAST! Finding sensory/autism friendly places he can both play and stay safe in can be challenging, so we are grateful for finding one so close to home. The location is loaded with stuff to do for smaller kids (12 months-4ish), and is was well kept and very clean. We did have the opportunity to observe another visitor be *quite* upset that the rules for hygiene and socks were for a requirement for everybody.(Confusing, rules are for everyone?!) but Ms Jill handled it like a champ and was both kind and unwavering in the unneeded protest. It was reassuring, as a first time visitor, to see child safety remain the priority of the staff. All to say, we truly enjoyed our visit, and will most definitely be back!! read more

Found this place on google because it was a cold day & I had my 1.5 yr old nephew. We were greeted as soon as we came in by staff. The staff was very helpful in clarifying the check in process and the various pricing options. Since it was our first time I selected a one day pass which was about $11 (reason for the minus one star). I thought that was a little pricey since all the other indoor playgrounds are between $5-$8 for kids under 2. The place wasn't very busy just a few other kids than us on a Saturday afternoon which was good with me since my nephew is still getting used to other kids. We were there for a couple of hours. He kept himself quite entertained with the different stations and things to do. We'll be back on a cold day for sure, but we'll do a punch card next time. Took my 16 month old here and he loved it! He can't walk yet since he was born premature but he really loved crawling around and cruising! I really liked how the place is all padded so it's good for the little ones who are still learning to walk. We spent almost 2 hours there and the owners are very nice. Our four year old had the perfect birthday party it's like a super clean, shoe free, blippi style playground w jungle gym and slides and ball pits. They catered pizza and a beautiful cake- then we had a dance party and bubble finale and was even able to help us with a face painter. All the kids had a great time and the parents could go in with their kids or sit outside and mingle. What we really loved the most is it's small enough to know where your kid is the entire time and nobody got hurt. This is such a great play area for littles in the summer heat! A friend and I took our toddlers and they had a BLAST. Longest my kid has lasted on an outing (over 3 hours)! Staff is very nice, much more professional than the college kids at some other indoor play places we've been to. They were constantly picking up to keep things nice. They also have designated "yucky toy" bins for things your kid puts into his/her mouth so they can be cleaned before other kids play with them. There is a nursing area with a glider which is so nice.
