Love Celebration Park.... I do my walking here for the most part but since having a 16 month old granddaughter we have truly enjoyed the Water Park pretty much daily this summer and it's awesome knowing it will be open a while longer as we enter fall... Having a bathroom close to the water park is so convenient not just for the children but adults too...it's clean ... everything is age appropriate... I can tell it's time to update some of the equipment and things but the staff keeps the equipment safe and clean...love celebration park read more

Celebration park has ample space to walk around, scenic areas for a nice photo, and it's mostly clean with few instances of dog waste. There's also a good amount of parking. I was able to find a spot easily even with multiple games going on on a Saturday morning. read more

I love walking in this park with my dog after work. There is a really nice trail that borders the park that walkers, runners and bikers use. During the months of school, different soccer and baseball teams can be seen practicing and playing, making the field colorful from the different colors of their team uniforms. Now that people are out and about after a long pandemic (even though we're still in a pandemic), it's nice to see so many people getting out and enjoying themselves. If you're new to the area, get out on a nice sunny day and people watch or bird watch or ride a bike or just sit and enjoy the rays of the Sun. It'll put a smile in your day. read more

My son loved this huge park! The splash pad is right next to the playground so he loved running back and forth. There was plenty of tables in a shaded area to hang around to have a snack or lunch. The playground was huge and very colorful, it was very pleasing to the eyes. Bonus is there's a bathroom pretty close to this area as well. I've seen other parks (smaller) with no bathrooms or they are far away. If we lived closed we would be coming back here more often. read more

This is a great park no matter what your needs. There is a large playground for little kids, plenty of soccer fields (which are full sometimes and used by leagues), and other open field space. All of it is in good shape and maintained well. There is a decent amount of shade and you can find your spot here no matter what. There are a few parking lots on the east and west sides of the park. The only downfall is honestly trying to meet someone there because it is so big. That said, this is a great spot for a large group outing with something for everyone. read more

The best part about living in Allen TX is being right next to Celebration Park. This park is pretty huge and offers something for people of all ages. There is a area for everything whether it's soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball/softball, barbecue grills, playground, spray-ground, picnic tables, covered pavilion, biking and hiking trails, walking or just sitting by the ponds and watching ducks. My favorite things to do here are, riding my bike on the trail, walking and taking my son to the enormous playground. During the Summer, they turn on the water sprays and many kids along with my son love it. The park is always kept clean and patrolled by the Allen City security. Not sure how clean the bathrooms are since I live very close by. Even after dark its safe and sometimes well lighted. Another event I look forward to during the Summer is the Allen USA Celebration held at the park. This is an elaborate 4th of July celebration with a food zone, kid zone, various vendors, live concert and the spectacular fireworks. There's even special seating for veterans which is amazing. They also have an area with firetrucks displayed for kids to learn about and take pictures with. But the fireworks finale is what everyone waits for and it's breathtaking every year. I love that they have the fireworks choreographed to the music! To get the perfect spot you have to go early because it gets super crowded. So this park is nothing less than a gem in our very backyard. This is a huge park! When I followed GPS it took me to the soccer fields and I had to make my way around to find the play ground. But it was just around the corner (the next parking lot). Since we are new to Allen, we were eager to visit all the parks/playgrounds. We were a little spoiled with amazing trails and parks in the Austin area but Allen has some amazing spots! As soon as my boys (age 10/7/3) saw the playground they were running back and forth, exploring and climbing their amazing climbing structures. I also love their shaded area (right colored, interesting shaped and designed!) love it. Overall I love how bright and inviting it's is. We came on a Wednesday and the splash pad was closed for maintenance reason but we will come back soon to explore that part too! The ground is kept very clean and there are so many options do have a fun day at the park. read more

Huge park with a very good playground, water park, many soccer fields, lakes, jogging/running trail, covered picnic area... It has it all! Super clean and very well maintained. Very nice park to walk around and bring your kids to play. There is also a little water play area during the correct seasons that children can play in. I think it is closed on Wednesdays for cleaning. There are plenty of restrooms and a few water fountains by the play area. On the weekends the park is full of kids playing organized sports. This park is immense. My son had soccer practices here for years so we frequented this park many times. On this occasion we came for a school field trip. Our field trip started off at at the Dallas Museum of Art and this was our lunch destination. This park has a huge covered pavilion which is were we ate lunch. There is about 10 picnic tables to eat lunch on. The picnic tables overlook the serene lake. It was a lovely outdoor lunch. When the kids finished eating they played at the ginormous play area. This playground is every kids dream. The monkey bars, slides, climbing structures, ladders, and bridges seem to go on forever. There is also a splash pad, but we were there in the fall and they were not on. Which was a good thing, I can't imagine trying to keep 100 kids out of the water. Allen did a great job of building this park for its community! read more

Great park with a playground for the kiddos and trails to bike and run! They also have a very fun race here that's held around the New Year (look it up--the New Year's Double...I think it's already sold out). I love coming out here as the weather gets cooler and since it's not far from family for a little run and workout! Nice park with very colorful and nice playground, fun miniature water park, two nice covered picnic areas, a couple of baseball fields and tennis courts. After the park being there for a couple of years, they need to expand it. They lack some serious covered, shaded areas. This is Texas where the sun is beaming and temperatures reach nearly 108! Where's the shade?! The closest shade is in the panic area far from the back so you can't watch your children. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I don't care if this is a outdoors arena, no bathroom should be that nasty. read more

Very nice spray-ground with adjacent playground, ideal for older kids, but also good for toddlers. The spray-ground features several ground fountains, filling buckets that drop loads of water on you, water cannons, "mushroom" fountains and spray rings to walk through. It's usually well maintained and clean. The only downside is that it' quite a walk to the nearest restrooms, but a least they have some and those facilities are usually clean as well. The playground consists of many connected walkways with climbing opportunities like ladders in different shapes and monkey bars. They also have several slides and some toys/games along the way for the smaller children. Additionally there are teeter totters, rocking horses and swings. Definitely fun for the kids. read more

Such a beautiful park! Kept well clean and hooray for no doggie poops! As a dog owner, it's a great feeling when you know other owners are picking up their fur baby's poop too. Celebration Park - Beautiful park! - Parks Near Me - Allen, Texas

This park is HUGE! Coming from California, I was so surprised of how huge this park is. There is plenty of grass area, many of which is used for kids to practice and play games, such as soccer and football. On one Saturday, we saw one area completely filled with multiple youth soccer grams going on, and plenty of family members cheering the kids on. With this, there is a concession stand which is nice, especially when games are going on. The playground here is impressive. It is huge and has plenty to offer! Probably the best playground set I've seen in a while. Plenty of slides, rock climbing, telescopes, poles, monkey bars, balance bars, swings... If I got to enjoy this as a kid, I know this would have been my favorite park. We recently took our nephew here and he had a very fun time. There's also a paved walkway for those to walk and run around. Also there's a walkway among tall trees which is kind of dead right now during the winter, but I am looking forward to see how it will look when the leaves are fully grown. There's also a large pond here too! Overall, this is a great park for plenty of activities! read more

Has huge play areas for kids and a pretty big splash park. Its a little resort experience in summer. Located in Allen and easily accessible from US75. Park has ample parking, great walk areas. Great park for running, playground, sports, or just leisure around the ponds. The ducks are fun to watch, they have their own little lives and community happening. Plenty of parking and easy access. The water park is fun for the little kids in the summer. We don't come as often but manage to stop in occasionally when in the neighborhood. Friendly smiling faces. read more

Great park for a family outing. They have ballparks, water park, playground, covered picnic areas. The grounds are very well maintained and as clean as one can expect with the heavy traffic it gets. The place is crowded, but still plenty of room for the kids to play. We had a birthday party here recently and it was a great setting for it. What a nice park. Large playground for the kids to enjoy. We didn't know about the water park. After running around, we just let the girls enjoyed the water park in their regular cloth. They had a blast and it was nice to cool off in the summer. We started for about two hours but it was time well spent. We also saw several birthday parties going on. Baseball and soccer games on each side of the playground. So glad we found this park. If you live in Allen or surrounding cities, this would be a great place to be for the whole family to enjoy! read more

Nice and clean. We like that the play equipment has ramps for easy access to the slides. However, the area is huge so keep an eye on your kids; they can get "lost" in a flash. The splash area is great during the warmer months and plenty of spots to have a picnic. read more

My grandson loves playing in the water during the summer and.we all enjoy feeding the ducks. It's a great walking trail around the park, but go with a walking buddy to enjoy it even more. Very large park that's clean and filled with kids/ families on the weekends. I came here with my daughter and friends to play in the splash park area. There were lots of older kids that were enjoying since they weren't scared of the water. The water is sprayed throughout the play area, but it sprays up toward the sky pretty high and my daughter was a bit frightened. She's not used to having abundant water dunked on her head so she was scared. There's a tunnel where they have the water sprayed in the area where you go through, but again my daughter was scared. It was about 100 degrees outside so it was nice to just cool off... Until she wanted to go to the actual play ground where it's hot... The restrooms are kept clean as well the the grassy area, so if you find a nice shade, bring your picnic blanket and hang out!! It must be a nice park during the fall or spring, but summer time... Just make sure you're in the splash park area. read more

Went to the park to eat lunch today for some peace and quiet in the picnic table area. The most god awful dying duck and owl calls were on a loop playing through the speakers in the tree. Not every 10 minutes or so, no, a constant loop. So much for relaxing. At least the park was clean, shady, and trash free. read more

One of my favorite places to walk. water, green grass, trees, colorful buildings......it's beautiful here and very relaxing. Gets busy on soccer days and there are sometimes morons who like to feed birds over the sidewalks (which leads to fears of being pooped on while you walk in that area and/or panic related to watching "the birds" when I was younger), but more good than bad. read more

This park is so beautiful. This past Saturday was the first time i visited this park. My boyfriend plays soccer here and I walked while he played. The trails are beautifully paved and the park is kept up so nice and clean. Its so peaceful and serene here at Celebration Park. Theres a lot to do for kids and would be the perfect place for a family outing:) Highly recommended! read more
