    Doggie park!
    Temina C.

This park is BEAUTIFUL! I came here because of the dog park. They have a small and big dog park which are very clean and large enough for many dogs to run around and have fun. I have a very active pup and I was able to have him run around and have fun. They do have set hours where they close down. You'll have a great time here even if you don't have dogs because it's an open park as well.

This is a wonderful trail & park located in the heart of west Plano! Bask in a suburban oasis and enjoy the sunrise and the scenery. They have clean bathrooms as well as water fountains and a park/splash pad for the kiddos. Bring your pups here, bike, running shoes and even the fam. You can relax at the pavilion under the shade or come here for a great workout. The area spans for miles so you may get some good mileage in if you are training for something. If you are a sunrise gal like me you will love the running views. The parking lot is huge and there seems to always be folks out here so I always feel safe. It also seems to be lit up if you run or bike in the evenings. This area needed another great nature park so I'm glad that the city of Plano took the time to make it happen.

An absolutely fantastic public park with jogging and biking trails, a dog park, and an amazing playground area for kids! The City of Plano hit it out of the ordinary park with this one! I wish I live closer, but this is worth the drive!

Came to the dog park here for the first time. It's large with wide open spaces. The paved area around the perimeter is nice for walking. There are some trees on one side, but it's mostly open. The water fountains are nice as there are both bowls and traditional fountains from which dogs can drink. Most people seemed to be walking with their dogs, but there were also some poop piles that made it clear not everyone was picking up after their dog.

Hidden south of Spring Creek off Windhaven is a open walking park, childrens play area and dog park for the four-legged companions. Plenty of space to run and play or climb or swing for the little ones - Plus paved and unpaved walking areas for the rest of us.

There are multiple areas of this park - water features (closed during the colder months), young kids area, and larger open space for big kids. Even though this is large, there are many areas where parents can stand and view most of the playground.

Fun park for the kids to hang out and play. There is a small splash pad area and walking trails around the playground. Very unique layout.

This park is giving the other dog parks in Plano a run for their money! It is nice and my pup loves it too! We primarily visit the small dog area and I love the walking trail within it so I can get my cardio while my pup gets his! People have been pretty good about social distancing in the time of COVID and most have worn masks, hooray! Everyone is great about being accountability for their dog and never had an issue here. It's also great to walk around on the trails as well and they have a nice pavilion if you want to et some coverage and have a picnic.

Beautiful park! The playground is HUGE!!! So much to do with plenty of space to social distance for sure. There's also a splash pad and dog park. There is a big walking/bike paved trail. One restroom building and a pavilion.

I come here to bring my dog. It was the first park I've taken her to & we both loved it! It's so clean, people are so kind & they have much more for kids & families. Great trails to walk around. They have it sectioned off for small & big dogs. What I love is that it is all grass & inside each part, they have a sidewalk trail to walk around. No trees or dirt. So don't have to worry about some things that your dog may catch or falling on you from the trees. People are so nice & welcoming as well. For sure me & my pups favorite dog park. Your kids will also enjoy the kid part.

This is hands-down one of the most thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and inclusive parks I've ever visited. The playground is massive, separated into different sections by age group, which is a lifesaver if you have both toddlers and older kids. Everything is built with accessibility in mind ramps, wide pathways, sensory features, musical instruments, and even mini pretend storefronts that spark imaginative play. The rubberized ground covering is such a bonus for safety too soft, clean, and comfortable for little ones learning to navigate the world. There's also a splash pad right next door, which is an absolute magnet on hot Texas afternoons. Shaded picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park, making it easy for parents and caregivers to relax without feeling like you have to hover the entire time. What makes Hope Park extra special is the heart behind it. It was created by the Frisco community with the dream of building a place where all children no matter their ability level could play side by side. You can feel that spirit when you're here. It's not just a playground; it's a celebration of inclusion, joy, and togetherness. Pro tip: It can get very busy on weekends, so early mornings or weekday evenings are perfect if you want more space to roam. Parking is plentiful, and restrooms are nearby. Five huge stars!

It's a great spot for everyone. Pets are welcome (on leashes!), and there is a fantastic playground near the parking lot--perfect for kiddos who still have energy to burn after a hike. You'll see a beautiful variety of plants and likely some local wildlife. Just a heads-up: they do have warning signs posted for snakes and poison ivy, so definitely keep an eye on your surroundings while you explore. The parking lot is huge, but this place is popular! We arrived around 1:00 PM and it was nearly at capacity. We were lucky to snag a stall, but I'd definitely recommend arriving earlier in the morning if you want to avoid the parking hunt.

Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!
