When my daughter was young and growing like a weed, I used to hit up Kid to Kid and other preloved children's clothing stores. Now that she's school age and clothes matter more, I frequent Children's Place for their great sales. Kid to Kid was always one of my favorite used kids clothes stores as they had a decent selection for a great price. They also have toys, baby gear, and other necessities like hats and shoes. I never sold anything back as we're big on donating but I hear that can frustrate people who are trying to recycle their clothes for more clothes. In general though, the store is neat and easy to shop. They also have great quality stuff, which is probably makes them so picky with their buy-backs. read more

Eh, there are no carts so it's very hard to shop with a toddler. It's just very hard to walk around in for some reason. I always end up finding clothes to buy. The shoe selection is great. They have good toy ideas too. I will be back since they are very close to me, but I'm sure there are better options! read more

Bad business practices and ethics. Selling a stroller they didn't fully check to make sure all components worked on and it's a dated model so their retail price is off anyway. They didn't want to offer further discount and honor my coupon in conjunction with it, which is just poor business practice to keep customers sorry but you just don't do that to people who have been faithfully shopping for their kids with you. read more

I love kid to kid they do have great prices & the owner is so nice. I've seen her in there a couple times & she always greets everyone is is Just a nice helpful person. The only downside I've had is the other day I was in there shopping by the toys & I overheard one of her staff members talking crap saying how she doesn't get enough hours & just going on and on about it. That was just rude, and innapropriate to do in front of people shopping. (she was tan/ dark hair) The same lady didn't offer me anything for all the stuff I brought it which was brand name.. IQ octopus retails for 70 it was in mint condition.. I would have been happy just getting rid of it for a 1$ lol but I guess other than that staff member I've never had any other problems. Nice selection here, but they are inconsistent in buying. My first trip with one buyer I made over $100 in trade, the next day, with the second half of my daughters closet clean out - another buyer passed on every single item. Exactly the same type of clothing, age and brands, but not one item passed. You will just have to do a little bit of trial and error to find the right time and buyer. :) Otherwise, lovely place to shop. read more

Biggest store I have seen yet and great location but they really dont pay much for anything name brand or not.

I'm so glad this place was recommended to me by a friend. The clothes are like new! The place is very clean and most clothes are about 2-3 dollars, some still even have the tags on. They also have games, body pillows, strollers, high chairs and pretty much everything else you need! read more

OK for certain things, like baby bath tubs, but most other stuff is overpriced for being used. They also pay hardly anything if you sell them your stuff. Its a bit insulting, actually. I would rather take the time to sell it on craigslist, and make 3 times as much, if not more. Overall... not terribly impressed. read more

I went to kid to kid today with my husband and two young girls to part ways with some gently loved and beautiful items that were very helpful during the first years. Let me start with this; I politely informed the attendant that I would need help bringing items in, she responded by yelling for me to be written up so loudly my newborn was startled awake. My items were hastily and very rudely sorted through, with "no go's" thrown carelessly to the side. I stood and listened to the two girls make rude comments the entire time, calling my items bad, or just outright ugly. In the end I was offered 7 dollars for a brand new princess sophia dress, hand knitted newborn mermaid costume, as well as several other items that were "good enough." I will never rerurn, and will inform ALL of my family and friends to do the same. This was one of the WORST customer service experiences of my life! read more

This is the worst store experience I have ever had. They stole from me and refuse to even talk to me about it. I had over 100 items that I left there. They called me to tell me to come and get the ones that they weren't buying and when I got there they couldn't find them. Oops...they accidentally donated them before they were supposed to. But, instead of paying me for those items or trying to track them down, they told me I was out of luck and that there was nothing that they could do. Most businesses would try and make things right but they did NOTHING. I will NEVER step foot in this store again. The owner should be ashamed of herself. You always try to expect the best out of people and assume that they will do the right thing. read more

Less than stellar experience here today. Brought in one bag of washed and ironed Children's Place/Old Navy clothes in excellent condition. They only took 3 items and offered me $3. Looking at the clothes in the store, what I brought in was nicer and in better condition, so not sure about their selection process. The girl then proceeded to take the bag of the unwanted items and put them on a shelf behind the counter. I said I wanted them back and acted like it was a chore to give me back my stuff. The clothes were also thrown back in the bag. Not folded like I brought them in. No thanks Kid to Kid. Won't be back! read more

It was my first visit here, they had a large selection decently priced items (alot of clothes, shoes). Things were very organized and the staff was really nice. I know this may sound weird because stores like this won't work if we didn't sell or stuff, but I wouldn't sell here, they pay next to nothing, better off donating to a non profit organization and helping some really needy kids. I'd much rather give brand new shoes to a needy child and feeling great than selling it to this place for $2 and walking away feeling upset. Horrible! Wish I would have read the reviews. I honestly think they have no idea what good quality, clean clothes are. I took clothes to sell, so looked around and the clothes on the racks had stains, etc. The store was so disorganized and seemed dirty. So TODAY I have to give this place 2 stars only. Why? Well, yesterday evening i came in to sell my mamaroo and the gal tells me they stop buying at 6pm... Today at 5:30, a different gal tells me they stop buying at 5!!!! After she remembered me and could see I was irritated (c'mon, baby in tow and a bag full of clothes ) she says IF it's not a lot they can go through it... Well I have a lot so.... OTHERWISE this place is great as far as finding items at a discounted price and in great condition however, they CLEARLY need to communicate better about what times they are buying items! Again, I love this place for purchasing items but I am to the point where, I am going to take my baby clothes which are in excellent condition and just sell to another shop!! I know they don't NEED my items but I'm not so sure I will come here so often now knowing that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!!! read more

Okay I usually love this place. I understand hit or miss on selling stuff. But the prices to buy have gone up every shirt was atleast $5.

I rather be in front of the worker while there pricing my items than wait 30 to 45 minutes for them to call my name and let me know when their done!! Also i gave them 3 pair of good condition jordans and lets just say they were with $3 to them!! i might sell them clothes again but never shoes i would take the time to sell them off a fb group if the condition is good!! read more

LOVE this store! This is the only place I buy my child's clothes. The staff is very friendly, and the quality of clothes is superb! I get SO many complements on the clothes I buy from here. I tell EVERYBODY with a child about this place. The prices are PHENOMENAL! You get so many clothes for a small price! My experience with k2k started with phoning to ask about the buying program. Heather was very informative, friendly, and so pleasant to talk with. I got a good feeling right off the bat. I packed up my stuff and made my way to the store. The location was easy to find due to a roadside sign, very important when going to a place for the first time. The store is jampacked with items but everything was neat and orderly. There were very few misplaced items and nothing on the floor! I took my items to buying area and introduced myself to Heather. Again, extremely personable and friendly. Even though she was with another customer she made sure to greet me and get me started with the buying program. When it was my turn, I was asked to fill out a very short information sheet and then was told I could either shop around or come back in a little bit. I chose to shop. The racks are clearly marked, and not overly packed so browsing is effortless. All items are on appropriate hangers and separated into sections such as pants, top, etc. I was able to find several tops for my daughter, all of which were reasonably priced. K2K carries several brands and their prices do reflect that, which in my case, WINNING! There is truly something for every child, and most importantly every budget. I was called up to the buying area about 15-20 minutes after I arrived, and the young lady walked me through the difference between the store credit offer and the buy out offer. Both of the offers were generous and I accepted the store credit. I was able to purchase 6 shirts and a dress for my daughter and paid 4.00 overage and tax. Overall, a very pleasant experience, which in my personal experience and talking to other mommies seems to be a difficult thing to find in resale stores lately! read more

It's sad and disappointing what is becoming of your store. You have a manager that clearly has no management experience and has no idea what she's doing except how to run this store into the ground. Any time I go in, even if it's slow, but especially when it's busy, she seems overwhelmed, like she has no idea what she's doing. Your store is always a mess and cluttered now. The buying process has become a joke as well as your prices. All the employees I loved coming in to see no longer work here. Amanda, Brittany and Beth were always willing to go out of their way to make customers happy and were always very personable. They always made you feel like you came to visit a dear friend you hadn't seen in awhile and always remembered me by my name and always asked how me and my children were and that's what made me keep coming back. Now I go to Once Upon a Child which I swore I would never go to or I go out of my way to go to a different Kid to Kid. Maybe train your manager on how to be a manager and train your employees on how to treat customers and me along with others might consider going back because I don't see this store lasting if you don't make changes. read more

I was excited to sell here, and two of the associates were very friendly. However, there was one there that made me cringe and want to pack up everything and leave. She was making snarky comments about some of the clothes that I brought in, and was generally just snobby. I think she was a manager, since she seemed to boss the employees around. I won't be returning due to this. I received a fair offer for my mint condition things, but feel I could have gotten more for the price they sell things at there. read more

The store is very small and extremely cluttered. I was very uncomfortable trying to get around w/my pregnant belly. They put the buying counter in the back corner of the store so you have to schlep your stuff through the maze of narrow aisles and navigate over toys strewn across the store while lugging your stuff to sell. Speaking of toys strewn across the store, do not bring your child here as they are not allowed to touch the toys. They do have a tiny play space in the back of the store, but if your child is not ok w/being left alone in a strange place do not bring them with you. One staff member that I encountered was pleasant, while the other three were down right rude. Their clothes looked to be in good condition at decent prices, and they were fair (or at least average) in buying my used clothing. They do force you to choose cash or trade, and they won't let you do a combination. Overall, I do not think I'll be back. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and there are too many other used children's clothing stores in the valley to have to put up with rudeness. read more
