Had lunch with girlfriends here. Typical seafood boil place, they were semi-busy on a Friday. I order the crawfish and shrimp. I wanted my sauce on the side The crawfish were decent size but they only "steamed" it so it didn't have a lot of flavor by itself, but their sticky kickin sauce is one of the best I've ever tasted. Beautifully seasoned and fresh in the bags. The fries were skinny, which I love, and well-seasoned. Asian staff all around so you know they're not skimping on the seasoning. The only thing is that they were extremely inattentive, and I couldn't wave down anyone. I wish they installed call bells at the tables. Got me walking around with dirty gloves and a bib multiple times to the front for some service. Food was solid. They had a deal going -- buy 5 lbs of crawfish and get 1 lb free -- which was impossible to pass up. I'm not sure how long the promotion lasts, but I canno pass on a deal! I ordered the pure crawfish with the KC-style spicy seasoning, and I'd definitely recommend it. The flavor had a great balance of heat, garlic, and tanginess without being overwhelmingly spicy. The seasoning was potent enough that my fingers were burning a bit afterward thanks to a perfed glove, but thankfully the symptoms faded within 30 minutes. I think between Kickin Crab & The Boiling Crab its pretty tough decision they both have great service and really good sauce options. Honestly depends on what side of town I am in. Food always hits crab legs (cajun sauce/mild), side of steamed rice and get the fried popcorn shrimp with their cajun fries (top tier fries)...... This place was absolutely packed on a Friday night. You can get on the waitlist on at the front of the restaurant and you can see your position in line through text. There won't be any estimated wait time but you can scroll to the top of the waitlist and see how long the next party has waited to get a good idea. We ended up waiting a little over an hour (got on waitlist for group of 4 at 6:30pm). I ordered the 1/2 snow crab 1/2 shrimp combo along with an extra 1lbs of crawfish kickin style medium spicy. It comes with 3 sausage, a potato, and corn as well. Garlic noodles are great, I recommend mixing them with your seafood boil sauce. This place has their system down! There is a quick turnaround from when a table finishes to when a table sits down and orders. We did not wait long for our food and everything came out extra hot. Came here on a Monday, right when they opened and there was no line. We mainly came here for crawfish ($9.99/lb on March 2026) and also ended up getting some oysters and garlic noodles as well. The oysters were plump and fresh and the garlic noodles came in a big portion and were super garlicky, which we loved. We got the crawfish with the kickin seasoning, level spicy. It was delicious! The crawfish themselves were pretty big and came with a piece of corn for every 2 lbs. Staff was also very helpful and patient and the interior was spacious and clean. We came around 6pm. on a Thursday, and it wasn't too busy. It was much busier by the time we left, but there was still no wait. We enjoyed our seafood boil in the Kickin' sauce. We got the shrimp combo special that has 3 lbs of shrimp, 2 corn, 2 potatoes, and sausage. We chose the kickin sauce with the spicy spice level. It was flavorful and spicy, but not the kind of spicy where you can't taste anything. Beers came out quick and waiter was friendly. The oysters were crazy large and fresh. I love crab! On Sunday I drove about 20 miles to get totally disappointed. I call and ordered 1 lb of King Crab and the works. When I got home. It was a variety of mixed pieces of crab legs. No king crab was there. The quality of seafood was unacceptable. I called to talk to the manager, I explained to him what I experienced. He offered me a free order of snow crab legs. I spent over a 100.00 plus a twenty dollar tip. I not sure to recommend this business because I should have just returned the food, it was too far to drive . We've visited this location several times, but this visit was a bit different as we brought along our newborn. Unfortunately, the place isn't stroller-friendly, or perhaps the staff isn't well-trained to accommodate guests with strollers. This made navigating the space a bit challenging. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. We ordered the fries, which were amazing as always--crispy and flavorful, just how we like them. The clam chowder, however, was disappointing. I'd rate it a 4/10 and wouldn't order it again. On the brighter side, the 3 lbs of shrimp we ordered were absolutely delicious, as usual. Kicking Crab's shrimp never disappoints! While we'll probably be back for the shrimp and fries, I hope they improve on accommodating families with strollers. read more

The service here is also amazing, management is on it and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience. The ambiance here is like your typical seafood boil establishment it's nothing unique however they have heavy business and definitely could use more space to support the amount of customers they get on a day-day basis .... Seems like crab boil places and increased in popularity recently. While in town I paid a visit to Kickin Crab. To start off it was insane inside the parking lot. It's located inside of a crowded shopping center with a whole lot of other businesses. There was absolutely no parking available. I had to drive around for a while until I got lucky enough to find someone leaving as a drive by. Even still I was no where near the restaurant so I had a little walk to get there. I expected it to be crowded inside but to my surprise it wasn't. I was quickly seated and had water brought out to my table. They have a pretty simple menus with most options being seafood. I had an order of 6 raw oysters and some of the Cajun fries. They came out quickly. For my main I got the snow crab special. Sorry it was so messy they I didn't have my phone out for any pictures. I barely ate one oyster before my boil bag was brought out. Can't say they have slow service at all. For my boil I had a medium Cajun seasoning. I think it was still too much for me. I don't do well with spicy but the flavor is as very good. It did have me sweating profusely. They use a paper covering for the table so you can just drop any shells right there. It's a messy delicious time. If I do come back I will have to get no seasoning . read more
