I came to learn of Quickie Crab due to the unfortunate incident of a vehicle driving through part of the building and after seeing the reviews decided to come on by. I placed my order online for the fried catfish and shrimp basket which comes with two fried fish filets, 4 fried shrimp, cajun fries and hushpuppies. Upon my arrival my food was ready and it smelled so good. The catfish was delicious and seasoned well. I do wish the filets were bigger but overall they were great. The shrimp was big and perfectly fried so it had a tender bite that thoroughly enjoyed. Hushpuppies were some of the best I've ever had. Fries were a miss, they were buried under the hot seafood so they were mostly soft but the flavor was still there. I really loved the condiments, they all tasted like they were made in house, the ranch was my favorite then the tartar sauce. Service was quick and friendly, I can't wait to return to try more of the menu, definite recommend!

In addition to the two kiosks, customers can also place their order with one of employees. Unlike the printed menu behind the counter, most of the items on the kiosks have photos. Initially, I was going to order the Quickie Crab, the first item on the menu. Browsing the menu to the beverages, I saw the Fried Lobster Tail & Fried Catfish combo. A less messier item, I chose that and the standard sides, Cajun fries and two hush puppies. Although signage on the door warned customers the kitchen was short-staffed, my order did not appear to take too long. My order took about 15 minutes to be ready. When I asked about my bottled beverage, I was told to grab it myself from the display case. Would I have been instructed to grab it while I wait if I had not used the kiosk? Also, the kiosk does not mention the available fountain sodas. If I had known they have Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda, I would have chosen that over the bottled ginger ale. Neither the Fried Lobster Tail nor the Fried Catfish were too messy to eat. Unfortunately, the tail was still attached to the shell for only presentation purposes. Once I separated the tail from its shell, it was easily eaten without utensils. The kiosk did not list any of the sauces. One definitely was tartar sauce. While the other looked like 1000 Island dressing, it definitely was not. Neither fried food were not too cumbersome to dip into the sauces. As for the sides, I should have opted to replace the Cajun fries with four additional hush puppies. While the fries were just okay, the hush puppies were more enjoyable to eat. Because I only ate a handful of fries, my hunger was not entirely satisfied. The seasoning from the fried food and the fries did transfer to my hand. The napkins removed most of the residue. Whatever remained was easily rinsed off in the men's restroom sink. For the very messy items, they have disposable gloves.

The Quikie Crab is the most pleasant taste of Texas I've experienced frome the beautiful storefront to the hospitality and the seafood Dungeness Crab and Boil. Catfish and shrimp Po boy oyster and Smiles made our after Church brunch so nice Complements to the cooks and José and the lady on front was so . 20 stars highlight of my week. Ms. Harper Awesome

Ordered boiled crawfish for delivery. I hadn't tried this place out until now. A good decision on my part. They were so good. I only got two pounds. As soon as I started eating, I regretted that decision. What made them so good, you ask? The seasoning, the taste and the size...in my opinion. I got mild sauce and it was the perfect amount of spice for me. They tasted great. None were over cooked, you know all mushy-like. Lastly, they were all average to large in size. Not a tiny one in the bunch. The only down side is they're not located near me. I'm glad delivery was available, however. Permanent customer.

Omg!!!! Amazing crab boil!! My son found them on tik tok, so glad he did. I have been looking for a good crab boil and found it!! I had the Dungeness crab with red potatoes and corn and sausage with the house sauce in mild. Delicious!!! The service was exceptional, fast and friendly! They were very busy and organized. A lively environment and efficient service. I will definitely go there when I have a craving for a boil!

All of my coworkers kept raving about this place, and since it's only five minutes from my office, I had to give it a try. Let me tell you--they were absolutely right! The seafood boil was amazing, everything was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. I even had the chance to chat with one of the owners, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Been coming here every Friday since 2 weeks ago. I've had the fried fish combo & the shrimp po-boy. They were delicious, crispy & seasoned to perfection. Next time, I'm trying a boil. The service is fast & the staff is really friendly. Definitely becoming one of my hidden gems!

A friend saw this place online and wanted to go. I wasn't sure about it because most of the time influencers say places are so good and you go there are it's just ok. I wasn't doing anything so said I'd meet her there to give it a try. This place isn't ritzy or fancy on the outside. It's in a small shopping area in Lewisville. The interior is casual. There is a to-go drive-thru, which I think is very convenient. After stepping inside, the smell made me think possibly this was the real deal. I like spicy so I went with hot spice level and decided to try the turkey neck combo. It was amazing! It was very spicy and had a large turkey neck with shrimp, sausage, potato, egg, and corn. My suggestion: I wasn't super hungry so I would split one with a friend and had a lot of leftovers to take home and if you like spicy not really spicy go with medium but overall this place won't disappoint. I will be back and suggest you try it out!!

Good sauce. Hot is better. Frozen crawfish around early January. 9.99 a pound. 2.49$ for two corns. Or any other extras to add on. It Was just okay. Fries were the best cause it was crispy. Hush puppies are plain, no corn or anything other than the hush puppy. You have to clean up after yourself and serve yourself with hot sauces, buckets and plates. & they still ask for a tip while you order ?

Came here with my buddies and we were super hungry. We all shared the big back boil, which comes loaded with food. It contains lobster, shrimp, crab, catfish, wings, potatoes, sausages, and corn. Then we got an item we've never seen at a seafood boil spot, the turkey neck Cajun style. Super flavorful. I got the lobster and mac & cheese, which was very tasty and my friend got the catfish Poboy, which he loved it. Their crab was so good from the big back boil we ordered some more clusters. We didn't wait a long time for the food, service was great, and the restaurant was clean, which is also a plus. Would come back here again.

The service was above and beyond! They were so friendly and made sure I knew that they were available to answer any questions. It was my first time there and I'll be back. I drive 20 minutes each way to get this bad boy and I'd do it again!

Food & Service is 5/5- GREAT!!!! Ordering at the kiosk was a little awkward; however, the staff was friendly and happy to answer any question that we had. The food was hands down delicious. The frozen margaritas were very disappointing. I'd give it a 1/5. We spent $24 for 2, and they just weren't up to the Texas standard norm. I wish we'd just gone out for drinks after the meal, instead.

Quickie Crab is always a hit! The food never disappoints -- tasty, hot, and full of flavor. Service can run a little slow, so I suggest calling in your order ahead. Still, one of my go-to spots for seafood!

The lobster tail was a bit tough and overcooked, which is a waste. Mussels were good too. Garlic noodles were not our favorite. Unfortunately, the service was questionable. Our server had difficulty communicating in English, which led to a costly misunderstanding. When we ordered crab, she never asked what type of crab we wanted and instead assumed king crab, which is significantly more expensive than other options. As a result, our bill was much higher than expected. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill without it being mentioned to us beforehand. While restaurants may choose to add gratuity in certain situations, customers should be clearly informed so there are no surprises. My advice: enjoy the food, but be very specific when ordering. Confirm exactly what type of crab you're getting, verify the pricing, and check your bill carefully. Also remember that gratuity should be clearly communicated and not assumed. Better communication would have made this a much better overall experience.I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Great food, but the service and communication issues took away from the experience.

When I walked in, most of their televisions were tuned to the same NFL football game in Fox, two sets were on the local NBC affiliate and only one on a Spanish-speaking station showing soccer. Regulars must come here to watch American football rather than soccer. One of the reviews for the Dallas location described it as a Mexican Hooters. Ojos Locos is better described as a Mexican Hooters. Since the menu has a traditional American-style cheeseburger, I describe the chain as a Mexican-American Hooters. Unfortunately, the waitstaff failed miserably as a Hooters wannabe. I arrived before the shift change. Neither the day-shift nor the night-shift bartenders introduced themselves to me. Nor did I even see a hint of a smile from them. As a Hooters wannabe, I expected and observed them smiling at the regulars. The night-shift bartender even introduced herself to a couple guys sitting by me as I saw them awkwardly shake hands. The bar poorly handled the shift change. At some bar & grills, I had been asked to tap out. When I asked for the check, the night-shift bartender was unable to get it from the Point of Sale system. Fortunately, the day-shift bartender had not left. At shift change, she transitioned into a waitress. When a manager could not assist, the night-shift bartender had to ask the day-shift bartender for assistance. Not wanting to be that customer who orders American food at a Mexican restaurant, I ordered the Golazo Taco Plate with beef. The three street tacos were not sufficient even with the rice and beans. In hindsight, I would have opted for a fourth taco. Of the two salsas, the red was medium-hot and the green was mild. They did their job of providing flavor. As expected, I saw a variety of both draft and bottled Mexican beer. What surprised me was the availability of non-alcoholic beverages, such as, Mexican Coca-Cola and Jarritos. The sashimi platter was fresh and contained a nice variety of fish and other seafood. I was surprised to see octopus and clams. It was served on a bed of radish, which I love, with sliced jalapeños and garlic on the side. There's no question the seafood is fresh here. They have a self serve station where you can get your own water from a water cooler and additional silverware, sauce cups, and napkins. Took my niece here for a birthday dinner of her choice. It's right by Paris Baguette and she's always been intrigued by it. She thought it was just ok. Overall, I think it's a nice place to get fresh seafood but it's not a place I see myself coming back to.
