I had seen Dr. Khuu and also Dr. Pham for many years until my insurance changed and they no longer accepted it. I came back last year as I got new insurance through my new job and called and the front desk said Dr. Khuu would take my insurance! I was so happy to come back. I go to Dr Khuu when my original optometrist is unavailable and she was recommended by family members. The receptionists are very rude. They need better customer service and training. They also charged me more for contact lens fitting a few years ago whereas my optometrist said it should be less than that (my husband was fitted for less at our optometrist). They nickel and dime you on cancellations and do not accommodate for patients who have been there for years. Save your money and support other small businesses who actually care about their patients instead of money. read more

I really like Dr. Khuu, she's very thorough and knowledgeable. However, I had an extremely disappointing experience with getting glasses made from her office. I ordered two pairs of glasses in March with the help of one of the ladies at the front desk and I've had to go back 4-5 times because the frames of both glasses were completely ruined. When I was trying on the glasses, they fit great. After they were made with prescription lenses, they are completely unwearable. One pair got remade twice, and the second pair was remade 3 times. Again, neither of the glasses are wearable despite being redone. The second time after they failed to remake one pair, I tried to return but they refused to accept it. They offered no help whatsoever and told me that they'll send it again to the lab. I asked how they are going to ensure that the glasses will be fixed, and the response I got was 'we can just hope that they fix it.' It's July, and I just picked up the glasses for the third time because it took them that long to get it remade. The result is no different and at this point I'm doubtful they can fix the glasses. The customer experience was truly awful and I'm upset that they wasted my money. I will not be coming back here again. read more

There's been more negative comments than I care to read, but I say, I've been a customer for nearly 20 plus years, and I have nothing but compliments and praises for dr Khuu, dr Pham and the front office employees. Dr Khuu has been my main dr. She's very friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. They seem to always fit me in, even if it's a walk-in due to a sudden critical concern I was having with my eyes. If they weren't able to get me in right away for a non emergency, I would always get a call from the front office workers regarding a cancellation and then I was fitted in sooner than I anticipated. I know I'm in good hands when I need to see either dr. BTW: I'm black ,not that it matters, but because a couple reviews were written regarding the possibility of racism playing apart in their lack of service, and i'll treatment, I can vouch that this is far from the case and I'd recommend this place to anyone of any race, gender or whatever. Dr. Khuu has been my optometrist for many years. The appointment process has always been easy and pain free. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Chuu seems to really care about her patients and explains your eye exam in full detail while leaving the door open for any questions you may have. The business does have a variety of lenses and contacts amongst other things but what shines the most is how they put the patients first. I've been seeing Nancy for the past 4 or 5 years. She is so kind and easy to talk to. She's also very patient during my exams when I have to choose between which lens looks clearer (A or B? A or B? I take forever trying to decipher. After a while they all look the same! I appreciate her patience!) During my annual eye exam, she explains the procedures and answers any questions I have. Nancy is very knowledgeable. Definitely an expert at what she does. I know I can trust her with my eyes. I love the selection of eyeglasses in the front. They have those cute Ray Bans that are really hip now. I got a pair last year, and I can't wait until my annual exam in a few weeks to get another pair! Today I went in to get a pair of glasses adjusted, and the staff behind the counter were so kind and helpful. They are following covid protocols and even have a UV light machine to sanitize the glasses after people try them on. I thought it was a toaster oven, but no, Ronnie told me it was for sanitizing. Ha ha I didn't even know this was a thing! It definitely feels safe and clean to be here. I highly recommend Nancy. Rebecca is also nice too. She helped me adjust my frames once, and she was very patient as we got the frames to fit my face. Everyone here is so kind and professional. Highly recommend this place!! read more

Dr Khuu is very professional, friendly, and detailed oriented. She'll take her time to explain what she's doing and to take any questions. They have a fairly decent sized selection of frames and do sell contact lenses (just whatever your insurance covers though). She will gladly give you a prescription to buy contacts else where (i.e. Costco). Located conveniently near Starbucks and CVS. read more

I used to go here all the time to re-order contact lenses. My orders were a little pricier then Kaiser, BUT the best thing about Dr. Khuu's office is the SPEED. I would get my order the next DAY or a few days later. Even though they set the bar pretty high, I was still in awe every time I received my order. Dr. Pham is amazing. She has been my eye doctor for 10+ years and is very patient and caring. She makes a long lasting relationship with her patients and shows her love and knowledge. They are willing to order glasses in different colors or styles online if they are not available in store and during Covid take the time to be extra safe. They use temperature checks, masks required, hand sanitizer, constant cleaning and sanitize all of the glasses before and after trial. read more

This place really is as good as it gets. Dr Pham Kim was just wonderful - barely looks old enough to be a doctor - but has 15+ years experience - and it shows! Her exam was probably the most thorough I have ever had in my life. Besides that she is charming and efficient and absolutely dedicated to providing excellent patient care. She counseled me strongly about protecting my eyes - as I have a history of dependency on one eye w better vision and the other not as. So she was right and took the time to care. As far as the receptionist, I thought that she was one of the sweetest girls I have met in a very long time. She also went out of her way to be efficient and helpful to the extent that she made several calls to my office to answer my questions and remind me to pick up my new contacts. Dr. Khuu and Dr. Phan are great! I have been going to this office for about 5 years now, and I've always received great service. They also have a great selection of frames for glasses or sunglasses. If they don't have something you like, you can always take a look at that catalogs they have and order from there. Orders are always completed quick, and you get your frames in a week tops. By far once of the best optometry office that I have ever been to. Dr. Khuu & staff are super friendly and very detailed. Both my daughter and I have been going here for the last 4 years and is very pleased with her service and staff. We're a big Ray-Ban fan, and by far her selections of Ray-Ban is awesome. If they don't have the particular style, they will make an effort to see if they can order it for us. The location of the office is very convenient, you can pick up dinner after your appt. I've been seeing dr Khuu since I was in elementary school and I'm now in my late 20s! I get some of the reviews on here about a long wait but I've never waited more than 10 minutes. But i would wait for them because both Dr Khuu and Dr Pham are amazing and patient. My whole family goes to see them. Never a complaint in the 15+ years we've been seeing them. On thursday April 14 about 11:00am I entered the store looking for prescription sun glasses. As I entered the store the lady at the desk was on the phone chitchating away, no Hi, How are you doing, I'll be right with you, no nothing! After about 5 minutes she hangs up the phone and says "How can I help you". I asked to look at some Oakleys. She opened the case and showed me where the prices were located on the glasses. I then asked her if there were any specials going on and she said "No, we don't ever have any specials or discounts or anything like that, the price is what it is" (with a snobby attitude) then proceeded to walk away to sit back down. Talk about horrible customer service! At all the stores I visited this was the one only store with the worst customer service ever! Never will I recommend or visit this store again! read more

4 Stars for my eye exam. Dr. Pham was very thorough in her tests. I did not receive the puff test which I thought was unusual. The letters test was not small enough and I could read the last line which I cannot normally do. 3 Stars for the apathetic staff and poor eye glass selection. I had my sunglasses polarized and when held in front of a light you can see how blotchy the glasses are. I would go back for an eye exam but would recommend getting glasses elsewhere. read more

Went to my appointment on-time and waited for 30 minutes before leaving this office. My pregnant friends's wife had the same experience but I thought that might have been a one time only issue. It seems this office needs to improve its time management and scheduling a lot. Walked into the store looking to have an eye exam done. Customer present so waited in line. A short while later an Asian Indian woman with her daughter walks in, and jumps queue. The doctor asks her what she can do for her, gives her a form to fill, and invites her and her daughter to have a seat. I remain standing, waiting, right in front of everyone. Asian Indian woman keeps staring at me, quite rude. I guess I'm otherwise invisible, but no, not really, it's just that the customer service is awful. Not saying a word, I decided not to give them my money, and simply walk out. I went to the optometrist at Target along Blossom Hill road. Somebody talked to me immediately and set up an appointment. I'm not sure what is wrong with Khuu Nancy Optometry, but I'm never going back there again. read more

HORRIBLE! I made an appointment for 1:30 for today and when I got there I was told they couldn't find my appointment. I hired a baby sitter to watch my kids so I could be there and it took them 45 minutes to tell me I couldn't be seen. They offered to see me at 5:30, but I was so upset I told them I'd prefer to go to a more professional office. I think they are incredibly unhelpful and wasted my precious time! read more
