I came here because of the great reviews, but I am completely baffled by how they got them. The service I received was incredibly rude. Honestly, I don't know if it's because I'm an Asian woman and he thought I'd be easy to bully, but he was unbelievably dismissive. I also noticed he was warm and welcoming to a white customer--I'm not sure if it was a race thing or just because that person was buying expensive items from the clinic, but the contrast was hard to ignore. Every time I tried to ask a simple question, he would just interrupt and talk down to me instead of actually listening. Whatever you do, absolutely skip the contact lens exam here. If you have any history of wearing contacts, he won't really bother fitting you--you'll just leave with the exact same prescription you already had. Even though I explained several times that I hadn't worn my old lenses in a long time, he just kept brushing it off, insisting they were 'fine' simply because I'd used them in the past. Don't expect him to let you try different trial lenses to see what actually works for you now. To make matters worse, it felt like a heavy sales pitch for their priciest lenses. The second I made it clear I wanted a more affordable option, he somehow got even ruder. He became visibly annoyed about my choice, and the service just went completely downhill. Plus, they make it unnecessarily difficult to get your prescription released unless you order directly from them. Just a very, very rude doctor and a terrible experience overall. Highly Recommend Dr. Huynh & His Amazing Team! Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Huynh, and this office has truly become our go-to optometry practice. We initially came here specifically for Ortho-K lenses for my daughter and I'm so glad we did. If you're not familiar with Ortho-K (orthokeratology), I wasn't either until a coworker told me her son had it. Ortho-K lenses are specially designed hard contact lenses worn only at night to gently reshape the cornea, allowing clear vision during the day without glasses or contacts. It's honestly life-changing. My 15 year old daughter can now ditch her glasses completely no hassle during the day, no glasses slipping down her face (especially since she has a flatter nose bridge), no worrying about taking glasses off to shower or sleep. She just wears her lenses at night and wakes up with perfect vision. As a parent, I wish I had known about this option sooner! Dr. Huynh is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and never makes you feel rushed. He genuinely cares about his patients and makes sure both parents and kids feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. Eventually, our entire family ended up seeing him because of the great care we've received. The staff deserves just as much praise. Vinh did an amazing job training my daughter on how to properly use and care for her Ortho-K lenses, and he also helped train my son with his contact lenses. He was patient, clear, and encouraging, which made a big difference, especially for kids who are new to contacts. Alexis helped me and my youngest daughter pick out frames that actually fit our facial features (which is not easy!). She was extremely patient, friendly, and attentive. She really took the time to help us find the perfect pairs, and I absolutely love the glasses she picked out for us. On top of the excellent care, the office itself is a great experience--easy parking, always available right when I pull in, a clean, modern, and calming space, and a relaxing atmosphere while waiting for the kids to be seen.
