I was so pleasantly surprised to find Khepri Cafe -- and RIGHT next to the Kedzie brown line stop makes it the perfect place to grab a coffee before hopping on the train! My favorite thing I ordered here was the regular breakfast sandwich. It was DELISH so gooooood. It had a sauce that made it a bit more unique than a basic breakfast sammie, and I really liked it! Admittedly, the cinnamon roll muffin thing was kind of dry/bland, was missing the gooey cinnamon filling but the frosting was good. I maybe ate about half of it. There's also tons of stuff to look at while you wait - they sell all kinds of fun home goods, accessories, and little snacks/treats including CBD chocolate! Definitely will be back!

Great service and wide range of food and drink selection. I got the London fog ice coffee and it was delicious. Right next to the train stop of Kazie . So it was very convenient.

Tried sweet potato soup! Amazing. Best soup ever. I will try it again. Keep making it!

I'm so upset that it took me so long to go here after being seeing it for years! Khepri is so cute and welcoming, a great place to meet some friends for coffee or catch up on some work. They have fun season menu items that often includes a house made component, lately I've been loving the brown sugar maple latte! There's food and drinks and staff is all so nice! Cant wait to write my next essay here

Delicious salad. I probably could've gotten an additional egg on top. But it was so good. I went there to do work but was so focused on my food that I didn't get anything done. It's so conveniently located near the Brown line.

LOVE this place! It's hidden on Kedzie, west of where the brown line crosses the street. I'm always looking for new places to work remotely and this has quickly become my favorite spot. The staff are super cool, friendly, and helpful. I ordered "The AOC" just to be silly, TBH, and it was one of the best handcrafted drinks I've ever had in my life. I've not tried any other drink yet, because all I can think about is that drink when I'm on the way there. I love that they serve all their drinks is actual mugs (even for 16oz drinks), not throw away paper cups. I've also had the breakfast sandwich and my wife the blueberry whipped feta toast, which she loved. The wifi is strong and the atmosphere is great. Pro Tip: Parking is free and non-permitted a block away on Leland.

I love cafes like the Khepri Cafe! This newer addition to the Albany Park 'hood has a bakery, various drinks, sandwiches & paninis, toast, salads, soups, and CBD items. We came here for an early lunch, and ordered: +the Michelle Obama - made with orange blossom, rosemary, pepper, and espresso +the A.O.C. - made with cajeta, cinnamon, cayenne, and espresso +a Mushroom Melt - with smoked portobello, cashew pesto spread, havarti, and roasted red peppers on a sourdough +a Roasted Veggie Press - with red onions, roasted red peppers, squash, spinach, mint, dijon, and tahini vinaigrette on a seeded rye There were plenty of seating options with colorful chairs and sofas, and some counter seating. Staff were friendly, and the place gave a relaxing vibe. It was also bright and cheery, and I really liked their decor. I'd love to try out their smoothies and the rest of their sandwich menu. Residential street parking can be found around the area. +look for specials on the board +friendly staff +located by the Kedzie stop +residential street parking available

It's made with housemade hazelnut milk, cold brew, cacao, frozen bananas, housemade coconut caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, and seasalt. Trust me-- it is just as heavenly as it sounds! I forgot to get photos of it because I drank it so quickly--sorry! The space is so cute inside and it's in a fun area to wander around, right in the heart of Lincoln Square. Can't wait to come back!

That brownie I had was delicious and actually satisfying for a sweet tooth like me! The rose latte was enjoyable and once again, they had gluten-free bread to offer for the sandwiches/paninis. Not only that, they are actually a dollar less than the regular one because they say it's smaller. Less - you read that right. Anywhere else they up-charge for the gluten-free version, even if it's just frozen Udi's. It wasn't so here! Note: their savory stuffed pastries like the spinach ones and potato ones aren't gluten-free because they're brought in by another vendor.

The shop is sparsely decorated but seems to be a real staple in the community, which felt special to visit as an outsider. My friend and I both ordered egg and goat cheese bagel sandwiches. I ordered an iced lavender matcha and my friend ordered a cappuccino. The sandwiches were made with boiled eggs, which felt extremely odd. The egg type was not clarified on the menu, but I feel like for a breakfast sandwich to include a boiled egg instead of a traditional fried or scrambled egg, that should be disclosed to customers with some sort of expectations. My friend said the cappuccino was "just like every other cappuccino I've ever had." The lavender matcha really just tasted like a regular matcha. It was good but not much lavender flavor! Our food also took a bit to come out, despite the coffee shop being empty (only one other person already dining when we came in) and what we ordered. It looked like there were only two workers. I personally wouldn't visit Sipping Turtle Cafe again, unfortunately. There are a lot of other great options around that satisfy me more.

Architecturally simple, modern, and bright with tons of seating! The drink menu gives you the flexibility to order some classics or specialty drinks and even more niche options for the true coffee connoisseurs. They have a bunch of pastries that they also made in-house. I love that their theme is "made by humans". My Flat White was balanced, creamy, and smooth. Both pastries we got were good tries but the Ube Caramel Delight was more worth it! A nice combination of flaky pastry, ube cream, and caramel clusters. Hands down, Milli is going into my top 10 coffee shops list!

The chairs are comfy too! Lighting is soft and thoughtfully placed for a calm and cozy atmosphere. The pastries were yummy but I wished the savory pastries were warmed up when they brought them to our table. I don't know if that's an option but that would be great if it was. Warmed pastries would have brought this to 5 stars! I like that they served pastries with a fork and knife so that we could share. We ordered the Jordanian laminated, which was filled with mushrooms and olive. There was one olive pit in there so be careful but otherwise it was good! I liked that the pastry itself was lightly sweet and complimented the savory. We also got the bacon leek turnover and they were generous with the bacon which offered a nice umami saltiness. This is one I really wished was heated. Last, we ordered the ube caramel delight. It was very tasty and I liked the ube cream! For drinks we shared a strawberry thyme latte with oat milk (hot). Delicious, not too sweet, and beautiful latte art in a cute mug. I definitely recommend this spot for a cafe catch up with a friend or to cozy up to a book! Keep in mind that they try to be laptop-free after 2pm on weekdays, and all day Friday through Sundays, I believe. I think it's great because it maintains the shared space and the intention for the space. They also serve cocktails and other drinks at night I believe. Servers were great, they walked around frequently to pick up finished plates and keep the space clean and tidy. There is also a separate entrance for pickup only orders. And there's street parking outside.

There was already a small line of guests with the same idea, but we were able to get on the waitlist. While waiting, we checked out the small coffee shop inside the gallery and browsed the furniture, which helped pass the time. Our wait was about an hour before being escorted to our table in the courtyard. Initially, we were placed at a low coffee table with couch seating. It's a cool lounge style setup, especially for drinks, but not ideal for a meal. It would have been pretty awkward trying to eat comfortably. We asked to be moved and were told that table preferences should be requested when joining the waitlist. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't aware of that, and it also wasn't asked by the hostess. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate us and moved us to a table in the wine cellar. The wine cellar had a completely different vibe, dark and moody, compared to the bright, airy courtyard with its beautiful glass ceiling and natural light. We ordered the lobster roll and the RH Burger, both with fries. The food came out fairly quickly and was well-presented. The lobster roll was served on a buttery brioche with just the right amount of seasoning, and the burger was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit again.
