He was extremely easy to communicate with - he quickly understood the details of the project, offered his own opinions in some areas, and simply delivered a top-notch job that exceeded all my expectations (which were already high, based on many other deservedly-positive reviews). His (and Josh's) work is of the highest quality, and I very much look forward to working with him in the future on additional projects.

Working with Geoff and Surveillance Solutions has well exceeded my expectations. When I first…read moreresearched for a full-house security/surveillance option for our new home, I was very much a rookie and didn't know what to look for, and what really matters - other than I wanted my family to "feel safe". I took a few weeks to look into the big name vendors such as ADT and Bay Area Alarms, as well as DIY smart home security such as Ring and Nest. Compared quotes, talked to all of them, and made a bunch of reference calls. What I learned that matters most - to us at least - is reliability of products/surveillance as well as very personalized service. If I need to reach Geoff, it's because I really need help and/or a security issue - and that's precisely the situation when I don't want to be "just another account number" in a big company, or a DIY where I don't have any personalized help. Geoff/Surveillance Solutions have met all of those requirements and more. Always available when I need him, I never felt rushed or blown off when I call him for help, takes the time to educate and help me, and has gone beyond our "standard" service to be helpful on multiple occasions. No chance I would've gotten that same type of help and attention had we went with a big company provider. I've said this to Geoff before and more than happy to vouch publicly, I plan to have Geoff and his team install our security solutions at our next house, and the one after that, and the one after that, etc. Very happy client.

I reached out to Bay Electric LLC and received an immediate response: I contacted them on a Saturday and the installation was done two days later! The quote they provided for a Nema 14-50 outlet with GFCI protected breaker was very competitive. The installation required running wiring under the house, and they handled it efficiently with great attention to detail. The work was done neatly and professionally, and everything works perfectly! They tested everything to ensure it all worked before leaving. I greatly appreciate their responsiveness, transparency, and quality workmanship. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician. I have a couple of other jobs and will be reaching out to them soon. They are definitely worthy of a 5+ star rating!

Chris Gray was efficient in inspecting the fuse panel. He determined the box had one more slot if he moved some things around. He quickly gave me a bid on the spot, more than fair and based on verbal agreement, he scheduled the work. The fuse box and the garage were at the hypotenuse, making travel in the crawl-space the longest of possible lines. He described his squeezes between ducts and footings with Zen-ease. He was neat and respectful of the property and was attentive to other electrical concerns about the home. I am grateful to have worked with a 5 star professional electrician who is in business for himself and who can give direct-to-customer prices. Someone in another review said he was a very nice fellow; indeed, a very nice fellow who happens to be a very nice electrician. I will use his services again when needed.

Drew was referred to me by the dealer, Super Circuits, as a Bay Area installer, and largely based…read moreon the reviews from this site, I decided to give him our business - for the first, and last time. Positives: when he actually did show up, he performed the installation thoroughly and made manual adjustments to all our exterior cameras until we had the desired field of view on each one. He also did a professional job neatly tacking all the camera cabling to the house. Camera system works very well, and he's a pleasant young guy - BUT... Negatives: 1. He no-showed us on the first appt.and it took multiple calls/emails/txts to reach him for a resked date. When he finally returned our call, he said the equipment hadn't arrived yet, but, apparently, didn't feel it was necessary to let us know that we didn't need to wait for him all morning. 2. One of the reasons we picked the system we did was because it came with a smartphone monitoring app that allows the homeowner to see what the cameras are seeing from any remote location with internet connectivity. While we can see what the cameras see when we're IN the house using the app, it does not connect to the DVR anywhere beyond wi-fi range of our house. I called him on FOUR times over the subsequent 6 weeks about this issue, and not only did he NOT return our calls, he did not offer a fix of any kind. The app, as it is, is completely useless to us. 3. Part of the deterrent value of any security system is the signage that lets people know that such a system is in use. He forgot the signs on the install date, and despite multiple attempts to request that he send them to us (as he'd promised to do before he left), he never returned our calls and we've never received any signs. 4. He billed our c/c before the work was completed. Bottom line: We did NOT get what we paid for. Drew is a competent, if unprofessional, technician that, as some other reviewers have commented, is spread too thin to do his work AND run a business. While I would certainly recommend the Alibi camera system to anyone, I would NOT and will not recommend General Pro Security to anyone.
