When he came, he did a thorough assessment of our options based on what we had available (checked the attic in our main home and our garage attic), provided me a quote, and got the work done in two hours. He even pointed out some items in our attic that might need attention (a weak beam), and even engaged in some friendly conversation with my two year old that was wondering "What's he doing?" every 5 minutes. (Sorry if that slowed you down, Dan.) Bottom line: Dan's approach is genuine and authentic, and we highly recommend. A quality security system is truly invaluable when you consider the peace of mind it brings, and this is a company you can absolutely trust. The process began with excellent communication from the office before any work was even scheduled; they provided quotes in a timely manner that were easy to understand and fit perfectly within my budget. What impressed me most was that they use only quality equipment, and Israel took the time to review both what I needed and what I didn't need, which was equally important to me. Israel and his team can be counted on to show up right on schedule and complete the work in a timely manner. The installation itself is top-quality, with a lot of care going into strategic placement to ensure total coverage. Before any work started, Israel walked through the property with me and openly listened to my needs before deciding on the final camera placements. Additionally, they are respectful of your home and animals while working. they take care to close gates and doors when coming in and out which was important to me. Once the installation was complete, he tested the entire system, ensured all cameras were adjusted properly, and then personally went over how to use the system. I'm the type of person who asks a lot of questions about projects before, during, and after, and Israel and his team made sure that I fully understood everything before wrapping things up. If you are looking for a professional, reliable security team, I highly recommend California Security Cameras!

I knew the network hardware I wanted (Ubiquiti/Unifi) but needed a professional to run & terminate the wiring and install the hardware. I got quotes from 4 local companies and WizTec's was among the most competitive. They came to my home and walked the site with me, discussing my plans and offering excellent suggestions. I decided to purchase all of the networking hardware myself (rack, router, switch, cameras, UPS, etc.) while WizTec supplied the labor, wiring, and all of the termination hardware. As part of the project, I also asked them to clean up my existing coax runs and bring them back to the rack in case I ever need them in the future. After I selected WizTec, we exchanged numerous emails clarifying details about the project, recommending camera models and locations, AP locations, etc. They were extremely patient, answering all my questions and helping me to source the hardware for the project. When the install day came, they were on time and extremely respectful of my home. They worked very hard to get all of the camera runs within the walls of my house--one of the crew spent most of the day in our crawlspace pulling cable to the four corners of the house. They managed to install all of the cameras directly on the exterior walls without resorting to conduit, something I figured would be a challenge. They made minimal and very tidy cuts to our interior drywall in a few places, and repaired all of the cuts expertly (to be clear, WizTec replaced and secured the drywall pieces they cut--I had our sheetrock guy come behind them and finish the repair/resurfacing, and I'll paint it myself). They terminated all the runs cleanly and tested everything. Throughout the process they were extremely polite and communicative, checking in with me numerous times when they had questions about how I wanted something handled. It took them two days, but all of our cameras are installed, APs are live, and ethernet runs are in place. Everything comes back to a rack that is extremely tidy, with everything labeled and extra wiring on both ends of all the runs in case we need to move things in the future. I couldn't be happier with WizTec's work or the finished project.
