I have been here several times and rarely get a good meal. Complained to corporate and no real change. A lame $5 coupon. I didnt want a coupon. I want the chicken done right. There is a virus in their chicken and food prep training. It just keeps replicating. They dont know how to bread the chicken, fry the chicken, or prep the sides. Only thing that is consistent is the potatoes and gravy and wedges (wedges are now gone which sucks btw). Last order. The breading was so light, it just tasted horrible. I hate this KFC And it will be the last time I come here. There is always a line outside the drive thru. I waited 15 min with 0 advancement on my position I finally parked the car to go inside. The young man was polite but, when I went to order a $5 special that is being advertised all over TV as well as in their own place their price on the menu board is $5.99? Does the ignorant owner even realize that is FRAUD. You can't advertise something then have a different price posted inside your establishment at the same time. Wow.. how this place isn't closed for business yet is unbelievable. Let's start with the wrong food. We ordered wings got chicken strips. Ordered fries, didn't get them. This after waiting for 30 minutes. While waiting 2 customers came in to return their food because it was gross, not cooked right or something else. One said it didn't smell right. Should have taken a hint and walked out but I had already ordered and paid for the food. Walked out and checked my order and walked back in to ask for my money back. Be careful if you do go to KFC. Went in on Saturday morning looking for a lot of chicken tenders for a party. The manager Mr. Navbel helped me out by pointing me to the website and we combine a couple of promotions and bam we were all set. The chicken was fresh, tasty, very satisfying. RUN! Went to get lunch around 2:30pm walked in and I was the only one there. 1. First RED sign. No one was at the counter had to wait and wait. 2. Second Red sign, I asked if there were any lunch specials and she pointed to a sign where it was 20.00 for a load of fried potatoes, nuggets, wings. 3. Third Red sign, I bought 3 pieces of chicken, 3 chicken strips, one mac and cheese, and one small French fry. NO DRINKS! The cost was over $20.00 and NO receipt. The chicken was COLD, GREASY and had NO TASTE it was AWFUL! You can better chicken at Albertsons, 8 pieces for $7.99 and it tastes GREAT. 4. Forth RED sign I asked 2 times for FRESH HOT French fries and there were GROSS! They were soggy, stale, and some little pieces from the bottom were like slivers of wood so hard I almost busted my tooth. They SCRAPED the bottom of the French fry tray and scooped of all of the OLD pieces left over from morning. 5. On the box the chicken came in it is printed "FRESHLY PREPARED food then hey, a free box". Are you kidding me! This is FALSE ADVERTIZING because the food was OLD and STALE and definitely NOT FRESH! Who gives a damn about a box? I want good food for the valve of my hard earn money. 6. Whoever owns this place does not care about the food, the people who run are incompetent and they don't care because management doesn't care! Shame on all of you. I fully agree with a majority of what most say about this KFC! This is a franchise so they feel they have the power to charge higher... sucks!! The Cornel clearly states on his commercials ... $5 FILL-UPS... well, they charge $6... that is wrong.... then it in NO WAY fills you up. The cookie is cold and old... the Famous Bowl I got was filled 3/4 up with whipped tasteless potatoes and had a few nuggets of breaded chicken with a sprinkle of corn and a drizzle of gravy. I will no longer go to KFC. They make you wait in the drive in line to order. Next I got to the window to pay with no one behind me. After I paid, they asked me to pull my car in front of KFC to get my food rather than wait at the window. There was no car behind me, so they were just trying to play games with the time it takes to serve at the window. I waited for four minutes to get my order only to find out it was missing the dipping sauces for the chicken tenders, so I had to go inside and wait two minutes for someone to even address me. There was no one in line! This is not a drive thru, the corporate headquarters needs to stop pretending they are serving people quickly and stop using timers at the window. First time I stopped here everything went fine but then again, I only bought an individual meal. Second visit we bought 2 buckets and were shorted a piece. I didn't freak...we had plenty. Annoyed? The kid gave me what I was shorted. No apologies for their mistake or ghosting me at the counters either. Great team work in acting like I didn't exist tho'... there's some hope here at least. I knew as I was driving away that I needed to count the chicken and yep...14 pieces. Surprised? Not really. Seems to be an overall problem with KFC and BASIC COUNTING SKILLS. So basic customer service skills and counting over 15 is not going to be found at this location. So the bottom line is, if you decide to overlook the 2 Star review: Check your order as well as ask them for some paper plates so you can unload those buckets of chicken before you drive away. Did the drive through and super easy and fast. The people were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. From ordering to having food and heading home was all of 5 mins. Got the $20 bucket that had 8 pieces of original chicken, 2 large sides of Cole slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, and 4 biscuits with butter and honey. All our food was hot, fresh, and very good. This place is also a Long John Silvers but when you order 9 times out of 10 they will tell you they have nothing available on the Long John Silvers menu. They do not turn off the sign that advertises Long John's and just a paper sign that says they don't have it on the Drive thru speaker. I went in to use a coupon for "9 piece tender bucket" for $10 and ordered two of them. The cashier politely informed me that the coupon "doesn't really do anything" since they are already priced that way. No big whoop, she was nice about it and it sounded like an okay deal. Well, once in a great while we like KFC. This was our first visit to the one in Temecula on 79 South. After an okay exchange in ordering our food and paying for extras we got home only to discover that our side orders were not in our bag. We called and talked to Elizabeth, our order person and also the manager and she checked and sure enough she short changed us on two side orders. All she could do was apologize but I told her in no uncertain terms that she had missed us up. Geez, you have one job to do and you blow it.
