Placed an order online for pickup. When I arrived the front doors were proped with no sign... I walked in to grab my order and when I got to the counter a young girl (Nelly) told me the lobby was closed and I needed to go through the drive thru. I had asked if I could get my order which was just just within arms reach she told me no... I had to get back in my car and go through the drive thru in a very rude tone and body language. I told her I'm not leaving until I get my order... Thankfully another girl over heard and handed me my order. She very briefly apologized and I expressed my frustration. KFC @ TEMECULA Parking is available out front for free and is spacious. There is also a drive through as well. We decided to go through the drive-through, and we got our order in super quickly. Our food came out within a couple of minutes. I stopped here just to grab their six-piece hot and spicy chicken wings, a chicken thigh, and of course their iconic gravy! The total came out to about $14.87 for everything. The staff was really friendly. We asked for some ice water, and they gave it to us in these really nice cups. We got our food and literally ate it in the parking lot because we were so excited for how hot and fresh it would be. The chicken wings were a great size, more on the smaller side,but honestly perfect for one person. As for the chicken thigh, it was also on the smaller side. My boyfriend ordered that one, and he thought it was going to be bigger, especially since it was about four dollars for one piece. I haven't had KFC in so long, so I was really excited to try the wings and dip them into the gravy. Let me tell you, this was the best thing I've ever had. The wings were so crispy, so hot, and had a nice little kick of spice. I genuinely enjoyed every bite. I definitely recommend eating it as soon as possible. I was reading other reviews where people said the wings were moist or soggy, and I can see why, if you drive home with them, all that trapped air in the bucket can make them lose their crispiness. If you can, eat it in the parking lot, in the store, or just as fast as you can. Mine were steaming, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Overall, I'll definitely be back to this KFC, or any location, honestly. This is one of my favorite things I've ever had. Everything was perfectly crispy and super flavorful. My only note is that I do wish the sizes were a bit bigger, especially paying around $15 just for chicken wings, but it was still really delicious. read more

First time they didn't give us any of our sides in a family meal. We tried to call them 3 times but they purposely did not pick up. Second time we waited 20 minutes for our order before the app said it was ready. However we went in only to be told we needed to wait an extra 40 minutes for our order or to get a refund instead. They told us this 40 minutes before they were about close so we weren't even able to get our refund the same day because there was no one available on the mobile app to help us with our refund. read more

Along with the 3 piece strips combo. I wanted to like it but the appearance and the soggy skin of the chicken lacked flavor. Take a look at my pictures. The coleslaw was lacking dressing and flavor as well. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was great but the potatoes tasted boxed. Oh man. I wish I would have read the reviews. I thought most KFC's were the same. This one is awful!! Just stopped by after the beach for a 12 piece family meal. (By the way, it's $50 now for 12 piece chicken and 3 sides, not even a dessert any more). The chicken came out immediately through the drive through. We just thought they were efficient. We were SO WRONG. I dont know how long the chicken had been sitting, we live about 15 min away. Usually my kfc chicken is still crunchy the next day. This was a gummy, floury mess!! I was visiting the area and my passengers chose KFC for a late snack because the dinner at a winery we came from wasn't satisfying. The KFCcashier was very pleasant and patient while we tried to decide what to order. We waited so long for our food and when we finally got it, I checked in on Yelp. There was an offer for a free pot pie and when someone finally asked if they could help me, I showed her the offer on Yelp. She didn't know what it was and went to a male to discuss (while I waited again). I decided to go to back to my table and nobody bothered to talk to me again. I'm not fan of KFC so I wouldn't return but I'm disappointed in the level of service a lot of establishments have these days. We also feel that safety and cleanliness are a top priority in the establishment. Each time we visit, we constantly see workers through the register window, wearing hair/beard nets and hand gloves. This KFC is well-stocked and we have not had the moment to where the place ran out of fried chicken of choice.
