The chicken use to be cooked fresh and tasted fresh. Unfortunately it no longer tastes fresh. It tastes old. Like previously cooked and then microwaved. The chicken is dry, not juicy. The sides are the best part instead of an honorable mention. I'm not buying chicken nuggets. The nuggets are more expensive than McDonalds and doesn't have white meat/ breast meat. The service is really great. Unfortunately, there's no more free refills on any drink. I still love the Mountain Dew sweet lightning. KFC has to return to serving fresh, hot, deep fried chicken or else people will find a restaurant that will. Stop serving microwaved chicken. The 18-piece bucket is $60, and $72 for the meal deal. The sides are adequate, but they don't offer baked beans like Ezell's. The potato salad is pretty good, and the mashed and gravy is pretty standard. Not too big a fan of coleslaw, but they have it. KFC has fried chicken over Chick-filet, but the latter is closed on Sunday. Chick-filet has only strips and sandwiches, no dinners. So I prefer KFC when I can afford it. read more

This has got to be the worst kfc in my 57 years of life. I even had the mgr wait on me and she was rude and spoke very little English . I felt the staff was exactly like her. They had false advertisement on their billboard. I got home and called them and the mgr was irritated by my questions so she pretended that to not hear me so she hung up on me. I don't understand what happened to having some pride in your job. Not once did she want to meet me halfway. Dang. I never thought that a KFC could be this bad. Upon reading the reviews, I thought that the reviewers were exaggerating. I've seen it happen so many times where people bash on a fast food establishment, because they expect so much as if they were at a fine dining restaurant. I thought to myself, it can't be that bad. Most fast food places are all the same. Some cleaner than others, but the food usually tastes the same. Boy was I going to learn to regret that. When the other reviewers are saying that the employees don't care, they're not exaggerating. They really don't care at all. I pulled up to the location, and I was going to place an order inside the restaurant. As I was about to get out of the car, I saw a homeless lady who was drugged up stumbling out of the restaurant. When another reviewer had wrote about homeless people loitering around, I thought that maybe it was a one off incident. I guess not. The lady slept in front of the restaurant, so I decided "Nope. Drive thru here I come." When pulling up to the drive thru, there was an initial silent for 30 seconds. The employee then said "Hi, welcome to KFC. How's your day?" I thought to myself "wow. The reviews about employees not caring must be false!" I told him how my day was, asked about his day, etc. I came there for one reason only. Hot wings. I saw that they had a 10, 20, and 30 piece option. None of the hot wing prices were displayed on the menu, so I asked what the price difference was between the 10 and 20 piece. This is how the conversation went down: Me: I was wondering, what was the price difference between the 10 and 20 piece hot wings? Employee: You want the hot wings? Me: Yes, but I was wondering what the price difference was between the 10 and 20 piece. Employee: You have to wait 10 minutes for the hot wings. Me: Yeah, I'm fine with that. What's the price difference for the 10 and 20 piece though? Employee: They're $1 each It was kind of annoying have to repeat the question multiple times, but it was whatever. I ended up going with the 10 piece, since I wouldn't be saving any money by ordering the 20 piece anyway. When I pulled up to the window, I handed him my American Express card to pay. I noticed on the window that they only had the Visa and MasterCard sticker on display, so I assumed that they didn't take American Express. I was going to ask for my card back so that I can provide a different one, and this is how it went down. Me: Oh, do you guys not take American Express? Employee: Huh? Me: You only have the Visa and MasterCard sticker on your window. Do you guys not accept American Express? Employee: I don't know. The bag felt a little light, but I didn't think anything of it. When I got home and opened it, I was shocked. These hot wings, literally looked like little baby chicken nuggets. They were so bite sized, that I felt gypped. I order hot wings all the time from different locations. Every time, they've come out piping hot and look like chicken wings. I assumed that these were tiny, because they had been left to dry out so they had shrunk. They were a darker brown color, and I assumed that it was because they haven't changed their oil in awhile. All the other places I've ordered it from, they were a nice golden brown. Also, the other reviewers weren't lying when they said that they don't give you a receipt. I feel like they purposely do that so that you can't take a survey, and corporate won't know how terrible they're doing. I've provided photos from their establishment, compared to the one down on Mercer street. Neither one of the photos are filtered. Just take a look at the color difference. The Mercer street location is pricer, but at least you're not getting old food. I tend to get full after eating the KFC hot wings, but these wings literally had no meat on them that I was still left hungry afterwards. I should've went with Panda Express instead. I stop in every other week and get the $5 Go cup and the staff is super friendly and the food tastes good compared to other KFC locations I have been ! I like the Nashville Hot Chicken although it's too greasy here the chicken always tastes good for fast food. The ladies in the drive through are always super friendly for kinda a bad area !
