I went to this KFC location at 730pm Saturday night. I initially went through the drive-thru and I attempted to order a 3-piece drumstick meal. The man stated they didn't have anymore drumsticks. I couldn't really understand him, so I went inside. I went to the counter and I asked the woman at the register if they had any drumsticks and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. She eventually went and checked and she related they didn't have any drumsticks or thighs. I found it hard to believe that a restaurant that serves only chicken, was out of chicken. I realize that fast food is by no means a gourmet meal, but it should at least be edible. I went through the drive-thru on an afternoon weekday, and only one person was in front of me. I placed my order from seemingly the most miserable person in the world. At the window, I waited for several minutes before being greeting with nothing more than my total. Understandable. It's a fast food drive-thru on a busy highway. However, it wasn't until I got to work before opening the bag to check my food. The biscuits were still doughy. Doughy. I wish I was exaggerating. I thought I could toss those and salvage the rest of the meal. But, when I opened the box of chicken, there was a hair in it! At this point I had lost my appetite. I have always gotten good food along with great customer service in the past. The food has always been a good size, hot, noo problem. Got 25 dollar fill and the bucket of chicken wasn't full. Only 8 very small pieces with hardly any meat on breast, wing, or drum stick; all extra crispy crust which I wanted. They used to have grilled chicken as well skinless, but not anymore. Customer service was so awful. Manager was not wearing a mask & broke a Massachusetts ordinance because he was less than 6 feet apart from his employees. I was yelled at because I have a stigmatism and could not read phone number to call and complain. Not the manager or one employee would write the phone number down for me. I'm so upset I will never order from this KFC again, even though it is the closest. To the manager who corrected me on how I ordered my corn on the cob today.. When I placed my order I used Kfcs wording and asked for a side of cobbettes . I didn't make up the stupid word lol. My receipt says I was charged for cob but I was given kernels. I worked in the resturaunt industry and sometimes words are used that you may not be familiar with but it is your job to know what the resturaunt is calling items. Learn the menu wording before correcting customers. Cobbette is a little cob. If you are going to work in the industry know the terminology. The (few) times I've come here, this kfc was mediocre/below average. But! I don't know what happened, but they are actually really great now. The staff working there are awesome, really polite, and the food was all fresh too. I must admit I only come to KFC a couple times a year. It is usually an adventure. In most casesMy order will not be what I ordered. One time it was getting a Coke instead of a Diet Coke. Another time it was getting mashed potatoes with gravy even though I just wanted the mashed potatoes with no gravy. The other day I decided to give them a try again. I do wish they would fix the many potholes on the way through the drive-through it would make it a little easier navigating around there. I ordered a four piece chicken tender with mashed potatoes no gravy just butter. I ordered a diet Pepsi and asked for salt, Pepper and honey mustard sauce. The good news was the chicken was warm and so was the biscuit. The bad news was they were out of salt, I got a potato but did not receive any butter and instead of getting honey mustard sauce I got honey. I rated this 2 stars because I keep hoping to get 1 meal correct even if it's out of 10 meals. What is depressing about this review is it was not busy there when I was there which made this a little harder to take. read more

** DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ** I went to the drive thru and I asked if they have any specials on chicken only and the lady in the drive-thru was very rude and was upset for me asking questions. I have a hard time hearing so I am asking my questions 2 or 3 times to assure that I understand but the lady was rude and got frustrated with me and started yelling. When she was yelling I asked if there is a manager on duty and she refused to answer me and when I ask again she closed the drive-thru window. I did not leave the window and when she came back I ask what is the manager's name or her name and she then refused again and threaten to call the police. I then proceeded to to park my car and went inside with my camera to take footage of how I am being discriminated. I was refused food and service with out explanation. Just wanted to make a suggestion. If your going to be closing the drive thru window for the time being. It would be great to have some signage, telling customers that. Some people just need to make a quick pit stop and would rather use the drive thru, instead of going inside. It would just be better customer service to give a heads up. I myself would rather know than waste my time. I saw about 3 other vehicles go next door to Taco Bell instead of parking their car and going into KFC. We decided to try the much hyped Crispy Colonel Sandwich today. I ordered the regular one and my husband got the Nashville Hot one. For these two sandwiches and a small (individual size) fries (that supposedly had their secret seasoning) it was $18. A little (okay, a lot) steep for it but the guy at the window didn't give any chance to ask questions before slamming the window closed. When he gave me my card and no receipt, I tried to ask again and... again, window closed and he walked away. He very briefly opened the window to hand us an open and greasy bag. I was so flustered at this point, we pulled up into the parking space to just eat the food. We were SHOCKED! The fries were lukewarm and limp. These "amazing" sandwiches were no bigger than a chicken little size piece of chicken, no pickles on either with drippy warm mayo and NOTHING else. My husbands bun was old and rock hard on the bottom. DISGRACEFUL!!!!!! You can't go in to complain and the line was wrapped around the back. I will NEVER EVER go here again. Last week I waited 20 minutes until somebody talk with me in that restaurant, everybody was giving all the attention to the drive thru forgetting about the people standing in lane waiting for service. Nobody greet me and when I complain with a manager named Jackie she was very rude and said she was in the driving thru and I need to wait, she was shouting at me and I said she should be polite with the customers, after that she refuse to serve me and treat to call the police if I don't live like she order me. YUCK !!! ICK !!! GROSS !!! Okay, where do I start. The past few years, this place has gone from bad to worse. DIsgusting. I was there twice in the past month. The first of those times I ordered the 3 piece extra crispy white meat (two breasts and one wing). Also, whipped potatoes and cole slaw. So, after a 25 minute wait (one car in front of me at the drive-thru), I finally received my meal. At 5:45PM on a Saturday evening they were out of crunchy chicken and asked if I wanted to wait. I said.... "yes". So I pulled over and waited. There was one person inside the place and just the one car in front of me. Anyway, there were at least 5 people all goofing around. Why wasn't anyone cooking the chicken so it would be ready for the customers? I mean they had a long night to go. I get home and the wing was missing. It was not worth my while to drive back three towns over fore one silly wing, but I was pissed off. Anyway, that was two times ago. The last time I was there about a week or so ago, I ordered the exact same thing except nobody asked me if I wanted crunchy chicken like they usually do and I forgot to ask for it. More than likely, they were out of it on a Thursday night at about 6:00 PM.... they are ALWAYS out of everything. So my order was the same as the review I wrote one paragraph above. I get home and YUCK, it was the regular chicken and it was soggy as hell. No way was I going to eat this garbage. Gross. There was only one breast and two thighs. That is not what I paid for. I paid for two white meat breasts with a wing. I don't like the thighs. I ate the cole slaw and whipped potatoes and the crumbled up biscuit and went out and got a roast beef sandwich at my local take-out place. I threw the chicken out from that order because it was not for human consumption. It was a pile of soggy limp skins. After speaking with some of my neighbors they said the exact same thing. If you get the regular chicken and not ask for the crunchy, you will more than likely throw the crap away. They do and did... and I did too. Just looking at the most horrific reviews I have ever seen for any take-out place over a period of years now, wouldn't you think that the district manager or the regional representative would get off their lazy ass and see why all the KFC's have despicable reviews. I guess they don't care. Hopefully, corporate headquarters will see these reviews and get someone up here that actually cares about what people are served and why everything is always out of stock so early in the evening or late afternoon. The quality of food sucks. I think it is time for me to print this reviews off and send them out to corporate. No wonder why they are losing money and customers. Nobody seems to care about the attitude of the employees, the quality of food, and getting the orders correct to the customer. Colonel Sanders is obviously rolling in his grave. We were lucky to get a chicken place nearby and they also have a truck in Boston for lunchtime, but they don't serve meals or buckets.... too bad for us because that is what families are looking for. They promise crinkle cut fries on their ads but that is not what you get. Hopefully someone with a culinary background will open a great FRIED CHICKEN SHACK somewhere on route one around the Peabody, Lynnfield, or Saugus area. If they have a great product and sell family meals, it would be a huge success. We in the North Shore area would gladly welcome someone who has nice fresh crunchy chicken. read more

There were 3 cars in front of me, but it took them 30 minutes to finish the orders from those 3 cars. Then they told me that they don't have enough hot wings. They told me to come back in 8 minutes if I wanted. They will have the order ready by then. So I paid and left and came back in 20 minutes. Then I waited another 10 minutes, then the waitress told me that another waitress gave your order to someone else, and they ran out of hot wings, and she asked me if I wanted to wait for another 8 minutes. SUPER BAD I had a bad experience with wait times on a previous visit. Any establishment could have a bad night. I went to this establishment again this evening,( 5-6-2016). I asked if there was going to be a wait time. I told her that I've been told that before that I had a long wait time. I asked if there was available inventory to fill my order. I asked the associate again if there is a wait time . She said no. Another customer said that he had been waiting for close to 30 minutes. The employee said; "You should consider that person is a liar". ( Calling a customer a liar would be a reason for me to call one of my employees.to be unemployed.) I asked to speak to the manager. The Manager would not offer an apology. She said that the employee said something and she is not responsible for the employees actions. The manager and employee were not wearing name tags. Omg so terrible. I have been here three times and NOT ONCE have I had a good experience. Last night I tried to order three tenders and was told that they were out of them. Ok. So I ordered the popcorn nuggets. They were out of them as well. Struggle was real. So I ordered the drumstick and a thigh with a side of wedges. I was asked if I wanted to wait for the wedges because they had to make them. YES!!!! It was around 9 p.m. on Route 1, I hope they didn't think that every customer would be eating (probably cold) mashed potatoes for the rest of the night. Anyways, I got my food.
