Came to Hooters on Sunday to watch the rest of the 1 o'clock football games. The bar was full and the rest of the place was busy. Before being seated we were told that the kitchen was behind and servers wouldn't be taking orders for 15-20 minutes. The service was okay it wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. Our waitress was super friendly, but she was very busy especially with a bigger party. It took more like a half hour to be able to order food. Our apps came out the same time as our wings which was frustrating. We were left with no silverware for about 15 minutes and anyone we asked said "I'll get it" but didn't. Finally our waitress noticed, but prior to her bringing a fork I had one of my wings which were ice cold. At this point I was over it so I didn't even bother asking her to bring it back to the kitchen and just warmed them up when I got home. The customers know they need to be respectful to the hooters girls so there's definitely less predatory action than if you were by yourself at a regular sports bar. I never like having to do this. But sometimes your hands are forced. My friend and I wanted to eat some good wings so we decided to go where they say the wings are the best. I don't think it needs to be said, but this claim is untrue. The wings I had (bacon wrapped in Daytona sauce) were alright to say the best is an over statement. I also ordered the chili cheese fries and this was a mistake. The cheese taste like gas station nacho cheese. It had a dusty taste to it and was just not edible. My friend didn't even touch his order after eating one of the fried shrimp on his plate and one of the boneless chicken pieces. Now for the service: When you walk in it is self seating only there is no sign that tells you that so for 5mins we sat at the door waiting to be greated. So when we sat down I noticed an employee casually sitting at a table with two other gentleman and thought it must be someone on their break nope she was our server and she was just sitting there chatting it up. We sat without refilled drinks or requests for quite sometime because all her attention was given to the 2 gentleman across from us. Let's see, where do I begin. Drove nearly an hour to dine here on Sunday 2/17/19. The place was real busy, but there appeared to be plenty of servers. The food service was terrible. I ordered the Original wings with bbq sauce and french fries. They were out of bbq sauce!!! How does that happen?? So I settled for just the breaded original. I mean huge DISAPPOINTING SAD LOOKING BURGER. It was not served with brioche buns, but rather sad cold store brand burger buns. No onion rings, and no jalapeños. When I asked the waitress where are the onion rings. I was informed that they are out of onion rings, and she came back with my jalapeños.
