Finally made it to Hooters in Saugus--yes, it took me nearly 40 years, but hey, better late than never, right? The whole vibe was exactly what I hoped for: fun, lively, laid-back, and perfect for a no-pressure kind of night out. The staff was super friendly, and the energy in the place just made it easy to settle in and enjoy the moment. Now let's talk wings. Everyone raves about the Daytona style, so of course I had to try them. Honestly? To me, they tasted like barbecue sauce and ketchup had a little get-together--not bad, but not life-changing either. Still, I can't say I didn't enjoy them. They had a nice sticky texture and a decent kick, just not my personal favorite. What did win me over? The Buffalo wings. Not too hot, but packed with flavor--just the kind of wings I'd go back for. Crispy, saucy, and just messy enough to feel like you're doing it right. The food overall might not blow your mind, but the experience is definitely worth it--especially if you've never been. It's got a certain charm, good people-watching, and the kind of fun atmosphere that makes even an average meal feel like a good time. Would I go back? Absolutely. For the wings I liked, the cold drinks, the casual vibe, and the fact that it's just one of those "you gotta try it at least once" kind of places--only now I might be a regular. read more

Just terrible. There no wonder why this place closed down. They ran in into the ground. The food was just terrible at the end.

Went in just expecting wings and left with a full meal and a completed side quest. Food was actually great. The waitresses were super nice too if you can pick up what im putting down. Meanwhile the chaos was unreal. In the parking lot there was a guy doing pull-ups on a street sign while his friend counted like it was a gym. Then inside, a dude tried to toss a fry into his mouth, missed, and it hit another guy who just stared at him like he had been personally betrayed. Across the room, a kid was standing on a chair giving a full speech about absolutely nothing while his family just kept eating like they had no care in the world. At one point someone dropped a whole tray and instead of panic, another guy yelled "ROUND OF APPLAUSE" and a few people actually clapped. 10/10. read more

Hooters has always been one of my favorite places but Luciana is amazing and has me back more than my usual! Came to Hooters on Sunday to watch the rest of the 1 o'clock football games. The bar was full and the rest of the place was busy. Before being seated we were told that the kitchen was behind and servers wouldn't be taking orders for 15-20 minutes. The service was okay it wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. Our waitress was super friendly, but she was very busy especially with a bigger party. It took more like a half hour to be able to order food. Our apps came out the same time as our wings which was frustrating. We were left with no silverware for about 15 minutes and anyone we asked said "I'll get it" but didn't. Finally our waitress noticed, but prior to her bringing a fork I had one of my wings which were ice cold. At this point I was over it so I didn't even bother asking her to bring it back to the kitchen and just warmed them up when I got home. I'll definitely stick to ordering from them on Uber Eats since those previous orders were better than this experience. read more

Food was pretty good, They have a good pescatarian selection. 10/10 would recommend. Loved it the girls where so nice too.

Just had dinner with my son here at the Saugus location. Waitress was great. Good service. Took a while to get the food but it was good when we got it. Had the classic chicken sandwhich. Really delicious. Ambiance was poor because the music was so loud that I could barely hold a conversation. Not sure why this is conducive to business but not sure I'll be back. It is quite bothersome. read more

Top level GM/management sucks. This place has got to be one of the worst run restaurants. Top level GM/management can never staff this place properly. They will schedule six girls on the floor on Easter when the place is a ghost town, and all six girls will sit at the entrance doing nothing. Not the girls fault, just shitty scheduling. What does the GM/management do when they have a popular event? They won't schedule any additional girls. Instead, they won't think anything is wrong while the place is on fire. The girls fault? Nope. Management. UFC? Disaster. All you can eat before the holidays? Disaster. You think they would learn through his thick head. Respect the waitresses' time by not scheduling like an idiot. On Memorial weekend when they have a new menu, the kitchen staff doesn't get the orders correctly. Kitchen's fault? No. It's management's responsibility to go over a new menu???? How do you not go over new menu items? Like what do you do during round up? They have no oversight over the kitchen or the girls. Oh, and if you want to give this place a try, do yourself a favor and don't. Especially, now. They have a ton of new girls due to a high turnover. There are a few girls that are bright spots, and I would normally give them a shout out, but with management's special thinking, they'd probably treat them shittier. No wonder there are so many 1 star reviews. read more

Visited today (8/7/25) with my two grandsons, ages 14 and 16. you understand why they wanted to go there for the first time. While that aspect was accomplished for them the food was not. I ordered the Texan burger which was described as 2 quarter pounders iin between Texas whatevertoast with bacon and sauce. No way were they quarter pounders nor was there much bacon to speak of. was told they only cook to medium, these, over done. Blah! One grandson had regular no seasoned wing order of 15, again, Blah! Other grandson had honey bbq boneless wings, 15. Fair at best. Had an order of fries, Blah! I also ordered, what I thought was a cherry lemonade shorty, a seasonal drink, turned out to be a shot of whatever, it was on a menu page showcasing White Claw beverages which I thought I was ordering deceiving ad. In all the boys enjoyed the view and the waitstaff was very nice. However, would never! go back. read more

Hooters is a great place to go if you're a woman on your own. The customers know they need to be respectful to the hooters girls so there's definitely less predatory action than if you were by yourself at a regular sports bar. Also the men are so busy looking at the hooters girls, they leave you the heck alone! The girls are super sweet. The food is consistent and very reasonably priced as are the drinks. They have a secret hot sauce made from ghost chilies that's not on the menu but it makes the three mile island taste like Tabasco. It's read more

When a straight female and her gay male roommate need some lunch, where do they satisfy the craving? DUH, hooters, of course! We live in Somerville, but knew we wanted to eat lunch on Route 1 in Saugus, so we hit up hooters for a pitcher of beer, some tater tots, and some wings. The food is mediocre, as to be expected, but who comes for the food? We came for the mediocre boobs, I guess. read more

Omg. The worst wings ever. I brought 3 friends to experience Hooters fried pickles and 3 types of wings. Plain buffalo and Daytona All the wings were overcooked by a ton. Great food , great service. The girls are always pleasant. Been coming here since they opened. Over 12 years ago.

This is the most disgraceful establishment of all time! My family and I were kicked out and had the cops called on us after being called Mexican by nearby tables and staff, and we're not even Mexican. We were constantly pestered and had paper towel rolls and other objects thrown at us. As well as had people in the building come up to us threatening to harm us when All we were trying to do was have a meal and watch the game as a family , but never received our food as they kicked us out because we "were a distraction". Most racist restaurant ever and sad to see that this still exists. read more

I never like having to do this. But sometimes your hands are forced. My friend and I wanted to eat some good wings so we decided to go where they say the wings are the best. I don't think it needs to be said, but this claim is untrue. The wings I had (bacon wrapped in Daytona sauce) were alright to say the best is an over statement. I also ordered the chili cheese fries and this was a mistake. The cheese taste like gas station nacho cheese. It had a dusty taste to it and was just not edible. The chili itself wasn't bad at all but between that and the chicken one of them mad me sick almost immediately after leaving Hooters. My friend didn't even touch his order after eating one of the fried shrimp on his plate and one of the boneless chicken pieces. This is rare because this dude eats almost anything, He too wasn't a fan of the chili cheese fries and that happens to be one of his favorite dishes. Now for the service: When you walk in it is self seating only there is no sign that tells you that so for 5mins we sat at the door waiting to be greated. Then a waitress walked by and ignored us until I caught her attention and asked to be seated. She told me that we could sit anywhere. So when we sat down I noticed an employee casually sitting at a table with two other gentleman and thought it must be someone on their break nope she was our server and she was just sitting there chatting it up. Comfortably sitting, Oh Sasha, Sasha, Sasha. I dont know how things work at Hooters but if that were my establishment that would not be an option. This continued on for the 2 hours I was there. I needed stuff and she was busy just hanging out. At one point I had to stare over there and hope she looked at me. She brought the check and it sat at my table for 15mins before I asked another employee that was walking by to run it for me. We sat without refilled drinks or requests for quite sometime because all her attention was given to the 2 gentleman across from us. I kept thinking where is the management in that facility or if they even cared. That is the worst 50$ I spent. We didn't even eat any of the items we got. Well I had 3 of the 6 wings I ordered. Took the reordered chilli cheese fries home and no one there wanted it either. Safe to say I will no longer visit this location again or possibly another Hooters. I've been to them before when I was stationed in the south but it wasn't anything like that here. read more

Hooters - So unprofessional. This was the whole time i was there. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

We came back! This time with a 10 month old and I'm pretty sure any new parent is anxious about 1. how their baby is going to do at a bar 2. how the parent themselves is gonna do at the bar WITH a baby and 3. are there enough tables during the patriots playing at 1pm on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. With all that we decided to step inside and take a chance and I am so glad we did. We ALL had a really good time. Hooters was so accommodating with an infant and I'm thankful we had such a nice waitress (Jansa? sp?) who was so sweet and also really attentive regardless of how busy it was. The beer was fresh (mmmm pumpkin!) and I really enjoyed my chicken "chips" and of course, delicious wings. I walked out and said I wanted to come back next Sunday. Thanks for a good time Hooters! read more

This will be my best take at an honest review. I honestly had pretty decent service. The issue was honestly the food. I got a 10 piece boneless and for some reason to get two different sauces you need to order the 16 piece...that's literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard but it is what it is. Food arrives...tater tot's were fine although bland. The boneless Buffalo chicken I got was honestly terrible. Barely enough sauce, the chicken was over cooked, the breading tasted burned like the fryer hadn't been cleaned for a few days. Just overall mediocre at best. For boneless chicken I'll go to Buffalo Wild Wings over here(which isn't even that great either, but it's better than here). Which is unfortunate. read more

Only the second time being to a Hooters and the first experience was the same as the second. Lousy. Easy enough to order a beer. Had to ask for a menu 15 minutes later. Let's see, where do I begin. Drove nearly an hour to dine here on Sunday 2/17/19. The place was real busy, but there appeared to be plenty of servers. The food service was terrible. I ordered the Original wings with bbq sauce and french fries. They were out of bbq sauce!!! How does that happen?? So I settled for just the breaded original. The wings came out, but the fries didn't until approx 15 minutes later. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with salad. That didn't come out until after I got my fries. There was a patron sitting alone at a table next to us. He was clearly intoxicated as his fries and drink were on the floor underneath his table and aisle to walk by in. I motioned our server over to suggest she get the manager on duty to stop by the guys table He came by alright, just to wake the guy up and ask him what's going on. He walked away, the waitress brings over his bill and they let him walk out the door in the condition he was in. How in the world can an establishment let a customer walk away like that without offering to call the guy a taxi or take his keys?? After the guy left I could see the manager and co-workers laughing and making fun of the guy. I wonder if the corporate office would be interested in hearing about this? read more

Culinary greatness? No. Culinary GOODNESS? I wouldn't even give it that. Our dinner party tried the BBQ Burger, the Pulled Pork sandwich, and the Mahi Mahi Sandwich. None were worth getting a second time. The wings, however, were decent. We ordered "HOT" which barely registers on the scale of hotness. We were afraid to try "911" or "Nuclear" but now we realize that "Nuclear" is probably their version of "Hot." We even used the Hooters version of Tabasco sauce on the table, but that had more of a tang than heat. Despite the disappointment in the lack of spiciness, I'll fully admit that they were tasty and I could definitely fill myself up chowing them down. Of course, having a nice cold pint of Sam Adams Winter Lager to help wash them down certainly makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, not to mention strikingly gorgeous. As we surveyed the rest of the staff, the table agreed that we were graced with the cutest server. All of them appeared upbeat and happy, which is definitely a good thing if you've ever run into surly and/or apathetic waitstaff. Go here for beer, wings, and atmosphere. Stay away if you want anything else. read more

Hooters - Our Hooters waitress poses for a picture - Chicken Wings Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

It absolutely broke my heart when we lost every Hooters location in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Yet, there was a ray of sunshine in all of this: Hooters of Saugus. I know what you're thinking: Saugus? Why not Boston? Well, it's worth the trip for the friendly waitresses, delicious comfort food, and bar. We all know that no one goes to Hooters for the wings, but I go for the fried pickles and the buffalo wing chicken sandwich. Those are pretty much my staples. And I certainly don't mind interacting with beautiful women in a sports bar. I don't find that any Hooters is degrading to women, but of course I'm saying this as a man. Any waitress who provides good service and is nice to me is going to get a good tip, regardless of their outfit or amount of cleavage. I always treat my servers with respect and this is no exception. So, more about this location: it's enormous and wide open! It has booths and a giant U-shaped bar. I've sat at a booth and a bar, enjoying my experience both times and marveling at the speed of the bar tenders to double as servers. They've got a good operation here and I say welcome back to Massachusetts, Hooters! read more

Not sure what has happened to Hooters but $15 for 10 wings the size of my little finger. Tiniest I have ever seen. I had a "to go order" and online they say tell the hostess. What hostess? Just not happy with quality or service. read more

The food here is absolutely terrible. After all these years of passing by, I finally caved and ordered from here through UberEats. I wish I continued my path to Hooters ignorance and acted like it did not exist. I got the medium Buffalo wings and the nachos. I cannot decide which was worse. The wings had ZERO flavor in the inside at all. It was almost like eating air that happened to have sauce on it. No salt, seasoning, flavor...NOTHING. The fact that I paid like $14 for 10 wing dings did not make me feel any better about the situation. It is the first time in my ENTIRE life I sprinkled salt on Buffalo wings. The nachos had some cheese and chili on it I know were probably canned. They tasted as well as they could considering. The thing that made the nachos so bad was the pico de gallo and guacamole, which both tasted like absolutely nothing. I mean it is like someone just mashed avocado, cut up a few tomatoes and onions and decided that was all that needed to be done. No salt, lime...NOTHING. I will certainly never go back here. There are much better places I can spend my money on. Hell, I can make this at home for half the price and it would taste worlds better. read more
