I placed an online order. I bought the 8 piece bucket and 2 biscuits on 4-14-26. I got home and realized I only had 1 biscuit. I had also ordered 4 legs and 4 thighs and got 3 thighs and a breast. I called the store to see if I could get a credit since I paid with a credit card. The employee said they would give me 4 biscuits to make up for it. I lived too far to go back. He said he would have the supervisor call me when she came in. She never called. I know the $1 was not very important to her but she didn't consider the money she would lose when I didn't buy anything in the future and everyone I told who might not shop there either. 10-11-22 9 pm the district manager called me to tell things that didn't happen, that their policy is no pictures or video (but that it's not posted anywhere), that I was welcome to not come back, and if I did he would have me trespassed. 10-11-22 6:06 pm So I went into KFC to get dinner, see there are 6-7 cars in drive through, so decide to park and go inside. Now those of you that know me, know I do reviews almost everywhere I go. Im a level 9 Google reviewer. I have more than 153 million views on my pictures. I have more than 500k views on my reviews. So I go in, waif for aoment and order. Order total for a drink and 8 piece family meal was a little over $26. So I snag a pic of the front area, front area facing back, and then one from the back facing forward. Three pics, nothing special, usual quick review pics. I go back and sit down and I'm looking at my phone, not review related, and wait a few minutes. I wasn't paying a lot of attention and I look up and there are two employees standing in front of me. One lady, Lori according to the register receipt, and a guy, never got his name. Lori says "could you please delete the pictures". I am taken aback and confused so I said "what". And Lori said "you were taking pictures of the back area, I need you to delete them". And I asked why and she said "because you can't take pictures of the back" (the three pics in question are posted now). And the guy chimes in with "you can't take pictures this is private property". I said "this is a public restaurant, I can't take pics if I want". Lori says "I'm asking you nicely to delete them". So I asked "why do I need to delete them "? To which the guy said again that it was private property. I explained that it was a public place amd I can take pics. So then, and I'm disappointed I didn't start recording instantly, but I start recording (or at least I thought I did, apparently I didn't hit the record button. So then they walk away and Lori says she is going to call the GM. I tell them, "look just give me a refund and I'll leave". The guy goes back behind the register and Lori gets on her cell. I ask the guy to give me a refund and he said "this isn't my register". But then he takes an order on the same register for some other customers. So lori says "the GM is on his way". Not sure what king of threat that is, but whatever. Why would the GM need to come to the store because a customer took 3 pictures of the public, PUBLICLY TRADED restaurant that is KFC. At this point I realize I didn't hit the record button and hit it, so when I post the video, its only a few seconds So I say again, can I get a refund so I can leave and the guy says "you have to wait for the GM now". I tell them I don't have to wait at all and I'll file a complaint with the KFC folks because this is obviously a franchise. I call the complaint like and file a compliant and ask for a refund. I'll updated when I know more, but it's safe to say I'll not be giving this KFC any business ever again. The only reason I even GO there is because I like the peach Mt Dew, Sweet Lightning and it is the ONLY place I can get it. Mt Dew, if you see this PLEASE leat other places have it so I can get it somewhere else. Final thoughts, Lori wasn't even IN my pics, so I'm not sure if she was bothered because I took them or if it was something else. Nor was I taking any like really close up pics towards the back area or anything. I took three pics, as you can see, which if they had said nothing probably would have led to a 4 or 5 star review, but now, because of the interaction and deplorable customer service, it will remain a 1-star. If you are in a public place, there is not any expectation of privacy. Unless the GM wants to turn the restruant into a private club, I can take pictures all I want. Do I go in trying to get specific pics of customers or staff, no, of course not. As you can see I took 3, what I thought were flattering, pics and these would have shown them in a "good" light, not the poor one they ended with. Oh well, c'est la vie KFC Salina KS. read more

I was the first to review here several years ago, but I have a follow-up. I placed an order through the KFC app, and it told me my order was ready. But, when I got there, it was not, and in fact, not even made yet. This location has always had an "iffy" reputation (used to be for bad health code violations), and I have to say this did not change my thinking as I hoped it would. I usually don't write reviews at all; good or bad but tonight is a different story. I went through the drive through at KFC and got home to find I was missing my coleslaw. Receipt in hand, I got back in the car to go get my coleslaw. The girl at the register went to the back where everyone was standing around doing nothing and a lady emerges with my coleslaw. I ask her if I could have my receipt back as I have already filled out the survey and have my code for my next visit. The lady got nasty with me and proceeded to argue with me when I called her on her attitude. I told her it was a good thing I had already filled out the survey because I would take her name and turn her in. I am sure the manager heard it happening. I don't know maybe she was the manager. Do not lose your time and definitely not your money on this place. This is the worst chicken in Salina. Took me over an hour just to get a 6 piece and gizzards. When I started my order I asked for wings but being a chicken place they had none even ready and it was going to take 20 minutes to cook some. This was at 6:30PM. I said I didn't want to wait that long but still had to because they didn't have the gizzards cooked either but didn't bother to tell me that. If I didn't want to spend time waiting for wings why would they think I did on their greasy gizzards. When I finally got my order they gave me a apple pie thing to make up for the delay. Really? The chicken and gizzards were so greasy that the bottom of the bag was filling up with excess oil and to top it all off the chicken was undercooked and the gizzards were burned. Will not be returning. I did not feed this to my family but instead went to a truck stop for chicken. That is how bad it was. read more
