Customer service here is awful. We are traveling cross country from CO to SC, with a u-haul and car hitch unable to go through a drive-thru. We got here at 9:02pm, lobby doors were unlocked so my fiancé and father in law went inside to order our food since we are unable to go through the drive-thru. The manager (I'm assuming) on duty proceeded to tell my father in law that she could not serve us unless we went through their drive thru. He explained that we are in a U-Haul and have a trailer hitch with a car on it, and she repeated that she would not serve us. Mind you, their drive thru is open until 10pm and they are still making food at this point. It was 2 minutes past their lobby closing and she refused to work with us in anyway to serve us, unless we went through the drive-thru. This is not how I expected Chick-fil-a to treat their customers. Really sad and unfortunate, I would not go here again nor would i tell anyone traveling through here to stop here. I wish I would've gotten this girls name, she had short/medium length black hair, that was pulled back into a low pony. 0/10 from us. read more

This Chick-fil-a gets two stars only due to the company reputation. This location was the worst experience I've ever had at one of their locations. No employees smiled or seemed happy about their jobs (or maybe their lives). The fries came out undercooked. The chicken nuggets and sandwich we ordered were good. But not one employee asked how our meal was or if we needed anything even though several passed through the dining room while we ate. Granted I don't need anyone to get me things or take my trash, but the standard of service other locations have set in many other states has been 10x better than this location. Thankfully I don't have to come back as we are just driving through. It wasn't their pleasure to serve the local patrons. I'll return to Colorado where Chick-fil-a employees like their jobs (and lives). read more

I love chick fi la it's literally my favorite fast food place, but lately they been slacking on their Mac n cheese. I am a huge fan of their Mac in cheese it's really delicious but lately they have been burning it. They serve lunch at 10:30am and I got there exactly at that time, so idk how they can serve burnt mac n cheese. I also got the spicy deluxe just the entree and it was over fried but it wasn't hot if that makes sense. Meaning they re fried it so I also had a slightly burned chicken sand which with burnt mac n cheese. This was hard for me to rate as they hardly ever disappoint I LOVE THIS PLACE. I am a long-time fan of this chain and I like to think that it is their consistency and high quantity, as well as their corporate values, that keep me coming back. I was totally disappointed tonight. What makes this situation worse is that I've seen them operate under very stressful situations...4 busses full of student athletes all at once...and perform near-flawlessly. How do you give a drive-thru order to a customer WITHOUT napkins? I'm not talking about some arbitrary standard of "not enough" napkins; absolutely NO napkins...for someone in a vehicle who is more than likely to consume said meal IN the vehicle. Then the fries are not cooked thoroughly. Nary a one. They weren't even brown, they were white! At least the were somewhat cooked, although all soggy. I travel frequently to Salina from a little town in Republic County. You've just given me a reason to eat elsewhere. I'm so disappointed because you normally have such high standards. Food service may be a bit slower than the Chick-Fil-As in Wichita or Hutchinson, but staff is still very friendly, food is consistently tasty and fresh, restaurant is clean and the kids love be playground. The decor, including the family style table in the middle of the restaurant give this FSU a touch of uniqueness. Well.....on second thought..... Staff is quite slow and missed giving me 3 of my 8 items ordered... Someone from corporate may need to step in or this place may be one of the few Chick-Fil-As that doesn't make it. I was super excited for Chik-fil-a to open here as I've always enjoyed the food they serve. I knew they would be very busy for several months after opening so I avoided coming because I don't care for lines. I've since been 3 times after the first 2 months of being open and every time they take forever to get your food to you. It's unbelievable really considering the number of employees standing around seemingly doing nothing. I visit the Manhattan location usually once or twice a month as I work in Manhattan and I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes. The first two times I've been to the Salina location it was a minimum of 15 minutes from ordering to getting my food. Today I went in and was going to order but there was 4 people ahead of me and they had ONE employee taking orders and 4 others standing in the front of house looking around not even moving. I waited 3 or 4 minutes and the same customer was still getting her order taken. I simply walked out and took my business elsewhere. I'm done with this location until they get their act together and figure out how to offer acceptable customer service and train their employees better. read more

Usually pretty good, but the past few months the chicken has been very inconsistent and burnt more often then not. I'm used to a golden tan chicken color with a tasty fry but as you can see in the photos- they've been mostly dark dark brown and taste of a burnt char.
