Was just in town for the night and CRAVING a hamburger. Saw Five Guys was close by and went for it - ordered To Go. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming. I was able to quickly place my order and wait. Even though I was 5th in line, it came out pretty fast. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a regular order of Cajun fries. When I got back to the hotel and looked in the bag, all I could see were fries! WHOA! There was twice the amount that would fit in the cup! I'd hate to see what a "Large" gets you! The burger was pretty smashed up, but didn't take away from the good flavor. The meat was well seasoned and in greater proportion to the bun. All the vegetables were fresh and the bacon, while not crisp, was equally good. Those fries, though, were quite good - I'd recommend the Cajun seasoning every time. Prices are a bit steep for a burger joint. But, it is an ample amount of food you're getting, too. All-in-all, my craving was satisfied. read more

We waited an eternity to order and even longer for the food. Worst burger I've ever had. It was burnt black, dry bun, size and flavor of a hockey puck. Fries were awful. Only thing that was ok was the blackberry shake. Wont be back! read more

India Harwell cashier/server was very prompt and courteous made sure my every need was met she went above and beyond all expectations for burger place . And although I can't have it she did ask about milkshakes and fries she deserves more money and what she's getting obviously LOL read more

I think this place is off my list now. Female employee taking order seemed to have trouble understanding English. She talked to other employee in Spanish. Burger orders were as ordered. French fries were inedible due to the excessive amount of salt. ended up thrown NG them in the trash. This was a takeout order or else we would have made them replace them. Good front line service and clean. Mgr though yelled at our group of 6 to move a table back due to "blocking the pathway." We had pulled 2 tables together four our group. Each table is about 10-12 feet apart. No issue with the perceived safety issue, but manager needs to approach the table rather than scream from behind the counter. Unprofessional. One of my favs food is hamburgers, and 5 guys has one the best burgers in town.

We stopped at 5 Guys in Salina KS, on Saturday May 12th, after a long day of travel. We stayed at a motel nearby and walked over, to discover that they closed at 10:00 and it was 9:55. Expecting to be greeted by annoyed employees, due to our terrible timing, we found quite the opposite. The employees working were very hospitable and took great care of us. 5 stars to the great customer service that we received and a hot meal that tasted great, after a long day. read more

Huge, great tasting burgers. Cheese hot dog with bacon and onion is good too. All kinds of toppings to choose from most are free a few are an extra charge. Be careful ordering fries as a large portion will feed at least 4 people. They have shell peanuts to eat while you wait but the wait is always short. Very quick service. Tons of drinks to choose from. Salina has needed something like this for a long time. read more

Order the veggie sandwich, asked for no mushroom. It took about 20 minutes to make this. Got back to my hotel to eat and there was nothing but mushrooms on the bread encrusted in the cheese. I ended up just throwing it out. At least the shake and fries were okay. read more

Way overpriced hype! So the fries were really good, that's it. Burger was decent, but nothing special. All the bacon was way over cooked. Cheese dog came with a cold slice of American cheese. Really? I could do better at home! Our kids didn't like it (not even the fries, which is strange.) Even though we ate there, everything was just thrown in a big paper bag. No tray or anything made it hard to walk back to the table with 3 shakes & a bag. Milk shakes were soft-serve ice cream, so not really different anywhere else, just more expensive.
