Food was fantastic! I had the Sea Bass tacos and my partner had the seafood enchiladas. We arrive at approximately 830pm for a late dinner and were quickly greeted and sat at a table. Took my wife there for her birthday Monday. We both had dishes with chicken in them. We both ended up with some of the worst food poisoning we've ever experienced. After eating we witnessed an employee from the kitchen picking his nose and he couldn't keep from running his fingers through his hair. Was immediately grossed out. Tried telling the waitress about it but she was more interested in talking to the other employees. Then asked us if we wanted to see our ticket or just pay. The Mgr is very sweet!! She can't help she works for a restaurant in a bag. No skip sets needed in the kitchen. Plenty of Authentic Tex Mex in the area. Food you ca get at Walmart and heat up much cheaper. Good place to just meet an have a drink I guess. read more

Excellent service! I'm from Texas originally where we have really good Tex Mex and this place is phenomenal. Really good salsa and seasoned well with cilantro in it! And it's actually spicy salsa not like ketchup like most Kansas Tex Mex lol Well prepared!!!!! I've been all over the US and I've had just about every type of Tex Mex and Mexican food you can have This place is hands-down the best I have eaten at in the state of Kansas and I've eaten at everyone in Salina multiple times all the other places are trash compared to this place. Also, if somebody is complaining about this place, they're just a Karen this place is legit. Try it out for yourself! Pollo Magnifico! Such a delicious and fresh chicken dish with melty cheese on top! Service was terrific too... even on a very busy night!

We enjoy Jose Pepper's every time we go there to eat. Their chips and cheese dip with the spinach and other ingredients was delicious. Their salsa is delicious as well. I like all of their entrees I have had so far everything is good. We go back and try new entrees each time and have never been disappointed. Their wait staff are amazing very accommodating. Had dinner there for the first time two weeks ago the food was good and the service was excellent also Something I'd change would be how the chips and salsa are served they use a two tier serving stand that has two holders for small salsa cups which are very tipsy and easy to tip over looks neat but not very functional The prices were reasonable alsothe menu looked somewhat limited but I'm sure new items will be added in the future the dining area is nice also I will plan on going back soon read more

My chicken enchiladas Verde had red sauce on them. When I pointed out to the waiter that these weren't Verde, he argued with me. Then my friends meal got delivered and it was nothing like what she ordered. They gave her a smothered burrito and she ordered grilled chicken and grilled veggies. Not only did the waiter that delivered it argue with her, but another waiter argued with her. I spoke up and said that is not anything near What she ordered. It was put in the computer wrong..The manager came over and got the right meal made for her. They did comp the meal. Also charged her for a side salad when he told her he could substitute the rice for any side, including a salad. Gave her the wrong dressing..The manager took that off also. The food was just OK. I was looking forward to a Tex-Mex restaurant coming here as I lived in Texas for 25 years, but this was pretty disappointing. read more
