Great subs and great service. We were visiting family in Salina, and they suggested Spicoli's. It reminded me a lot of Planet Sub in Kansas City/Lawrence. Deliciously toasted subs with lots of meat and great accompaniments. Service was great and the subs arrived quickly. They were hot and delicious. I enjoy the food here, however the service here is unbearable. While waiting to pay and pickup my order, the lady at the register was too busy smoking her vape to even realize I had been waiting for her. What was supposed to be a 20 minute wait for a pickup order, then turned into over an hour and twenty minutes of wait time. I think this place has 'good' food, but just know that you'll be waiting extremely long for the food and have to deal with their unpleasant staff. read more

We've been there a couple of times and have also ordered to go. The food is great, unlike anything else in Salina. I love the ditch weed and the potato salad! Visited this joint for the first time after a night out. Mediocre food. Worse service. The same song played 3 times. We booed in jest and they server cussed at us then proceeded to throw our food down and never return. The food was cold and average at best. Will try other places next trip in. Went to try this place for the first time last week with my husband. The food was alright, it wasn't amazing or anything. I could go to subway and make a better sub. The reason I'm rating this place one star is because the bartender in the back was just super rude. We asked her what drinks she recommended and while my husband would ask her nicely what was in a drink or something to clarify since she didn't say what was in it, she just shut him down and gave him attitude for no reason. First of all I do realize it is a new restaurant. Also, you can't expect too many good comments when there is only one person serving alcohol waiting tables and one . After about 45 minutes somebody showed up to help. We finally got our food after we were there about 1 hour. The sandwich was good. She gave us our ticket and it was 15.95 then she gave us the receipt to sign and it was for 41.59. I don't know we're she came up with that amount but she brought back the right amount and said the 41.59 would be back in account in a couple of hours. I'm still waiting and no one will answer the phone. I hope I don't have to make a trip back into town. read more

We found this restaurant while walking downtown Salina. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had the Hawaiian sub and my husband had a Philly steak. Both were delicious. The sub roll was baked well and perfectly soft. The Spicoli's theme was cute. We recommend! read more

I really hate to give a bad review but, in this case, I think it is necessary and well deserved. Maybe the owner will see this and make things better because I think this place has potential. My server was beyond horrible. I went this evening, and she literally ignored me for 20 minutes. Even after I flagged her down, she never did come back for my order. I had to go to the bar to place my order and when I placed my order and got my sandwich, it was completely wrong and did not taste good. I ordered a drink and it never came and I had to walk up to the bar myself after asking my server For it and it never arriving. The funny thing about the server was that she wasn't that busy and had plenty of time to chat and joke with select clients. I will say the bartender was pleasant and tried to do his job so, kudos to him. Again, I could see how this place has potential but many improvements need to be made. read more
