We ate at McAlisters last week and the cleanliness and food was very good. Monte and Evan are doing a great hob managing to make sure customers have a great experience. This is a good McAlister's location. I was traveling through Salina Kansas and decided to try this McAlister's location for lunch. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt, and the food met my expectations. I ordered The New Yorker Sandwich (Corned beef, pastrami, Swiss and spicy brown mustard on marbled rye) with chips, my meal was delicious. I highly recommend this McAlister's location. read more

I NEVER leave reviews -- I generally feel they're a waste of time. BUT I had to come here to say that this McAlister's Deli is just perfect in every way. My family is heading north on a 10 hour journey during a snow storm (with a toddler), and upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by an associate who quickly grabbed us a high chair without asking, and got us settled in a booth, unhurriedly (not being hurried is nice when you have a toddler). Our food was quickly delivered to us and it was SO good. The establishment was super clean and we weren't too concerned about our toddler crawling around on the floor. It was a really wonderful quick stop to split up our long journey, and we highly recommend this McAlisters if you live in Salina or if it's a stop for you on your own road trip. read more

Room for improvement regarding the food prep. While I did find my food was over-cooked, I did speak to someone about it and it was immediately rectified. I would give the full 5 star, but having to drive back for something that should have been done right the first time, is what brought it down. I enjoy the food but the Salina location has issues with getting the customizations right. 6 out of 7 times there were mistakes made. From wrong drink to wrong bread to wrong ingredients on sandwich or salad. I realize this can be high paced and stressful at times but slow down a microsecond and take the time to read and follow customer customizations. read more

I love macalisters sandwiches their service is also very good. My problem is I received the wrong order. I called the manager after I got home and realized I had the wrong order. He was very helpful and apologized and offered to refund me and he took my address and said he would send a gift certificate and again apologized. We hung up and I was okay. I waited a week and didn't get a refund or a certificate. I emailed the "complaint department " and got no response from them. Just make sure you get the right food when you order from the pickup. read more

The places food is really good and it looks so nice and clean in there. The only problem I have is how rude one of the managers would talk to one employee. If I was in the employee's position I would've retaliated negatively. Props to her. I definitely think that they need to work with that one manager I don't know her name but she was unreasonably rude for someone who works in the customer service industry.
