totally hate getting women's hygiene and condoms at this place because they have it locked up next to the make up area mind you why didn't they move it 4 feet in the make up area. It's all locked up. You push the stupid button and hope somebody comes call the store numerous times nobody still came or just rings or flag down every staff member and no one seems to have a key go figure. everybody be prepared in 15 or more years. All kinds of people gonna be having babies because they make such a spectacle to get some condoms around here. read more

I was at this Walmart and I was getting some cereal and I saw a rat run under the food isles. I don't know if I will ever shop here again.

Stopped in to grab some groceries and park our truck for the night. Found everything we needed which was a shocker. Store was well stocked and fairly well organized for a Walmart. Bathrooms were clean and the toilets weren't clogged which was nothing short of a miracle either. Would definitely come back this store over some of the others I've come across. Bonus points for the friendly kitty that greeted us in the parking lot :) read more

This Walmart is pretty nice! I stopped in to get some groceries and all of the associates were very helpful and friendly. They were pretty quick at the deli, and the only reason the checkout took a bit was because the customer ahead of me was paying with a check.. The girl at checkout was very nice and we even had a quick conversation with her. For the first time in a long time Walmart literally had every single thing I needed in stock, which is a huge plus for me. I also noticed that during the peak Saturday hours they stationed 2 associates at the end of an aisle pretty well spread apart in the main track. These guys were just standing there greeting customers and making sure they didn't need any help! They didn't seem to have any other task to do other than customer service. I see different Walmart stores every week and I have never seen one do this, and I think it shows that the management here really values service, and I could see that the overall store morale was great. It was a Saturday and there were ALOT of people milling about in droves with no apparent sense of urgency. Which I generally love, because it makes Walmart on Saturday an excellent place for people watching! I would choose to stop at the Salina Walmart over anything else the next time I'm passing through! read more

Now THIS is what a Walmart is supposed to be: Clean, fairly well stocked, efficient, and well presented. Had to stop in for some everyday stuff on a wedding excursion out here and was not disappointed. They didn't have everything I needed, but by god the place was well kept and that's saying something considering my local Walmart (Shawnee Mission Parkway in Shawnee, KS). read more

The workers at this store are not very nice especially the customer service ones. I find some apparel that had been hung on a display stand that was marked $2.50. there were plenty on this display stand so it was not like a customer had placed one item there. Going thru checkout the cashier told me when I told her what the price was on the display stand "Too bad this item is not that price... If you don't like it then you don't buy it". I went to customer service to complain about the cashier... Again told too bad about the price difference and nothing said about the cashier's attitude. This is certainly not what Sam Walton envisioned for his company! Walmart wants customers to use self check outs then they station a worker at the door to hold you up to check your receipt- even when you have gone thru their cashier! This also borders on accusing every customer of streaming until you price your innocence with the receipt! read more

I happened to be in Salina for a meeting & made the mistake of stopping at Walmart before leaving town. If you don't mind waiting with 20 of your closest friends at the ONE checkout that was open, then be sure to visit at 10 pm on a Friday night. The line wrapped halfway across the front of the store. There was also a huge line at the self-checkouts. We were all told that they had sent the other checkers home. Seriously??? That many people are still in the store & the manager is sending employees home. Finally got checked out, only to discover that the door I had parked close to was locked at 10:00. It was 10:11 & the unfriendly employee informed me I had to walk to the opposite door at the other end of the store & then trek all the way across the dark parking lot. NOT safe if you're a woman alone walking a long way to her car. Again, if the manager sees that many people trying to check out, the doors should all remain unlocked to safely accommodate customers--or the employee standing near the locked door should offer to open it for customers to exit. This store does not look to serve its customers. I'll learn from my mistake next time I'm in town & give my business to Dillons or Target. read more

So disappointed in the auto center, DO NOT GO IF YOU DONT WANNA WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Went there today to get an oil change and the lady said it would be a 3 hour wait, ok whatever just get it done. We also requested to have the floors vacuumed, fluids checked, and if we needed new wipers to put them on. She told us she'd call us when it's done so we decided to go watch a movie at the mall. Hours go by and no phone call so we decide to head there before they closed. She charged us for 10 quarts of oil (our car only takes 8.5 and specifically needs 0W 40 European Formula and they put on the receipt that they used 5W 30), floors vacuumed, windshields cleaned (didn't even ask for that as they were already clean), said the power steering fluid and coolant were "sealed" and couldn't check it but I've put power steering fluid in multiple times before, and filled the wiper fluid. The total was $100 and the floors weren't vacuumed and didn't even show that they tried and they made the handle and steering wheel greasy and left a huge oil spot on the side of the car from they're dirty hands. Point of the story is: if you want to get overcharged and have nothing done then this is the place for you. read more
