DAV Thrift store was a great asset to our community and veterans, but the big wigs, who of course…read moredo not live in our community, and do not have a clue what the store meant for so many people, would rather shut the thrift store down permanently, and rent the building out to whoever and whatever business that wants to rent it. Ridiculous! The DAV store was doing better than ever since the new manager took over at the end of December 2025. The store was clean and organized and they made sure it smelled nice when you walked in with lovely freshly rotated wax pots....effort that made a huge difference. But since April the store has sat empty and closed as they're looking for some random business to move in and make they're own profit. AND THE VETERANS? THE EMPLOYEES WHO LOVED THEIR JOB? THE COMMUNITY? DAV nationals could care less.

I know they just opened up recently so I wasn't expecting a ton of stuff. and there wasn't! There was a good amount of things but the shelves were definitely not full yet. Definitely more expensive than a thrift store! But, the place was clean and staff were friendly! Also, the message is nice!

They are so happy in there I had to look up what city I was in to make sure I note it. The store had a lot of discounts and different variety of items. Especially for a small location. I had a free Starbucks from their new addition. It was a plus plus for me. When I shop I look for value, customer service, and cleanliness over all. They had all going today so 4 stars it is. Side note, I met 4 expecting mothers today in there. Mmmmmm I better watch out.
