It was too short a stay, so make sure you take several days to explore the area. This adorable shop was open around Memorial Day weekend. We could have easily spent more than an hour perusing and chatting. Unlike shops in Southern California, this Kansas gem of a shop doesn't rush you out the door. Their online storefront could use some work - it feels like the early 2000s. Clunky and hard to navigate. I couldn't even find their hours online. (sigh) But do yourself a favor and just go to the store. Or call. It's worth your time.

What really set this place apart was the adorable young lady working there. My friend and I were standing outside trying to finish our ice cream before coming in - so as not to drip on the carpet or anything. She must have been a little lonely (not many customers in the mall that night), or just very friendly, because she let us come in anyway and engaged in some interesting conversation. If all the staff are as nice as her then this must be a good place to shop and/or work. Talking with her almost made me wish I was living near Manhattan ;)
