I have been in twice in the last month and they were incredibly helpful (and friendly) and made me feel like I was a valued customer even though my visits were merely to have batteries installed in watches and to verify authenticity of a pendant I had bought elsewhere (no charge!) I also remember going into their store *years* ago with my mom and buying some of her beloved Fostoria American pieces. I had a problem a couple of years ago with another jewelry store in Salina who had damaged one of my watches by improperly placing a new battery in it, damaging the watch and then had the audacity to try to claim I had damaged it (they wouldn't do anything until I contacted the BBB and then, lo and behold, they decided to make things right.) So, no more shopping around for me, I will always be a fan of Vernon Jewelers!
