The food was all very decent and service good, the only item I didn't care for was the jalapeño poppers which were heavily breaded and not cheesy or tasty at all and I think that item should be ditched from the menu. Other than that I love the menu, but I wish the fried shrimp taco was back on the menu. I guess it was a limited item from before. I had the grilled shrimp taco from the recent menu and it was just ok. This location is brighter and more modern than Overland Park so it's a different vibe.

Great brisket is moist, falls apart in your mouth, and doesn't have chewy chunks of fat that you'd rather spit out than swallow. Of those three qualities, only the moistness was satisfactory. In fairness, their barbecue sauce was good, as were the beans. The potato salad was okay. But circling back to the meat - that's why we were there, and honestly it was below average. Short story: One time we were driving down the highway, hungry, and we exited so we could try Hog Wild. It was closed, so we went to Hong Kong Buffet next door and absolutely loved it. On a later road trip, we exited to go to Hong Kong Buffet. It was closed, so we finally got to try Hog Wild. Circle complete!

My meal deal, was suppose to be pulled pork sandwich, Coleslaw and a drink, and I asked for extra bbq sauce to go. I got a pulled pork, with no extra sauce, mac n cheese, and no drink. I love eating here, because I like their coleslaw, but I guess I should've just ordered from hickory hut.

We stopped here, off I-70, for a late lunch while super hungry and tried a variety of things. Part…read moreof the reason that I wanted to visit this location is because there were a lot of mixed reviews and that always gets me really curious! Some of the reviews indicated things were oily and not that fresh which made me super nervous since I am particularly sensitive to like really oily food. We tried a crunchy taco, the macho taco, the Super macho taco that was more deluxe with chicken, a taco salad, the nachos and the sweet cinnamon chip things, I forget their name. The taco salad was about seven dollars and was so fresh and had a generous portion of meat beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes in a crispy taco salad shell. My partner loved it and gave it an 8.5 out of 10. I gave it a seven out of 10 pretty good not my favorite would get again. The tostada was topped with beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. It was wonderful and I loved it. 9/10. My daughter wanted a bite and couldn't stop eating it! The crunchy taco was amazing, probably my favorite part of the meal. It's shell was perfectly crispy and light, the meat in all of the ground beef dishes we had wasn't too oily at all but was gently spiced and didn't have a ton of "weird bits", if you know you know:) 10/10 for American style crunchy tacos. The chicken super macho taco was a tad pricier on the menu but it was fresh pleasant chicken and a great big taco wrapped in melted cheese covered soft tortilla. My partner rated it 9/10. My daughter also loved this and kept asking for bites. She got the nachos and it was a huge to go box with stadium style cheese sauce. This wasn't fancy and was topped with lettuce and tomatoes which was a nice surprise. It hit the spot but she loved the tostada and super chicken macho taco more. I tried them and loved making taco style bites with them and would rate them 7.5/10 for the style of nachos. Service was kind and helpful while we were slow with the menus and gave us large complimentary water cups upon request and were generous with the sauces on the side when we asked for extra. Ambiance I can't comment on because we used the drive thru and it was easy and convenient. 10/10 I would recommend for *simple* style offerings that have quality and fresh ingredients. This is not an authentic Mexican taqueria experience. This is not a Taco Bell experience either. But I loved it for what it was, fresh, yummy and inexpensive American taco shop offerings. 5 stars for its genre!

As is the case with most buffets anywhere, the food is best early on and they're busy cranking it out. Once things slow down, the pizza and other items tend to sit a bit longer and are not quite as appealing, but still taste good. That is all pretty much true of any buffet, and I can't really blame Gambino's for something that's out of their control.

We were meeting our family here and despite having a huge group we were promptly seated. The interior of this place feels very small town Kansas, but that's not a bad thing, it just has a homey, casual vibe to it. Our server was incredible. If it was just a review on her hospitality I'd give this place a million stars. Part of the issue, well actually the biggest issue was that she was the only person working in the whole building. Despite being open and having a few tables with folks seated, there was only one person in the whole building and she was the server, the hostess, and the chef. So, we all ordered, all different brunch items, she apologized in advance for how long it might be and then she went back to make our meals. It took probably 45 minutes to get food to come out and it was pretty good overall. I won't say it was incredible or the best omelette I'd ever had, but it held up to other brunch spots and I enjoyed my meal. The main issue was how long it took, and the lack of help the staff had. When we were about halfway through our meal two more folks arrived, one was a very young man who worked to bus the tables etc. and the other was a man who appeared to perhaps be the owner? What really rubbed me the wrong way was how hard the woman in the back was hustling to get food out and how he just walked around and chit chatted with folks, when there were clear issues that morning getting food out the door. It just left me with a poor taste in my mouth regarding how employees and customer satisfaction is valued at this place. Overall though the food was pretty good, and I love supporting local places when we visit Lindsborg. I'm sure we will be back next time we're in town and I hope I have a better experience!
