This KFC is hit or miss. When it's good, it's good. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious, fresh, and fast. I've been here on a number of occasions and had great service. When it's bad, it's bad. I have been here after ordering on the app and got to the store and the doors were locked. Finally, another worker showed up and was able to get someone's attention inside. The "Manager" informed me they didn't have any chicken prepared and it would be about 30 minutes. I had things to do so I couldn't way (it's why I ordered early, so I could eat and run). I had to contact KFC's support to get my money back as the store offered absolutely ZERO for their mistake. Such a pain due to the staff being totally out of it. Stopped by here just bc we haven't been to one in a while and wanted to give it a try. We ordered the 8 pieces of variety chicken, original recipe with no sides. It took so long for dine in! Around 15-20ish minutes I think? But my bf said he saw the order sitting it just wasn't getting called out. No biggie since drive through had a line. However the chicken when I tried it was horrendously greasy :/ of course it's fried so it's mostly expected, but it was dripping oil. The breading also had become soggy and lacked flavor... we debated over the extra crispy version but regular fried chicken is already naturally crispy usually... not this one!! It was so mushy and unappetizing looking. We were reminiscing about bb.q and Dave's hot chicken the whole time. The only good thing is it was juicy and tender. We also ordered pickup halfway through the meal to take some home to a friend and it took probably an extra 20 minutes standing at the counter. So definitely do not dine in if you're coming here as it seems drive through is prioritized. I get that it's understaffed so it's not easy to get things out quick, but the meal didn't taste that good so there's no redeeming quality here lol. I wish I could give this place negative stars. That's not typical of me but this is pretty bad. Every time we come here they're out of chicken or biscuits. Isn't that literally the photo on the buckets and on all the window signs lol. What makes it really worse is that they'll let you order, they'll take your payment, and then say "oh we're out of all of that". Then we asked for a refund. They didn't want to give us one, they wanted us to wait 10-15 minutes for them to cook everything when we already spent 30 min waiting in line. Might as well have gone to an actual restaurant. Hey, it's fast food and the bar should not be set so high. This is not fine dining, it is designed to offer a consistent meal at a fair price point. Honestly, I am not a huge fan, but my daughter likes KFC and the staff is accommodating and friendly and it seems the company is trying to rebrand itself to keep up with the times to offer more than either their original or extra crispy. Really, I think it's 20% my fault for ever giving KFC another chance. At this location the service is the worst. Standing at the counter for several minutes while the employee act like they cannot see you, then having to wait more time to get a fork because there are none on the napkin island, then having to run to the car to get the kids' jacket because they keep the store at 30 degrees, then finding they left several items out of the order and then having to repeat the standing at the counter wait because they can't see me again. I eat at The Colonel about once in a blue moon. I refuse to call it KFC or Kentucky Fried Chicken, because it's simply THE COLONEL! My wife and I stopped in after attending the grand opening of a local financial institution; and, we decided to get a couple of "Fill Up" boxes. I tried the Nashville Hot with two pieces of dark meat, a biscuit, and sweet corn. My wife opted for her usual 2-piece, extra crispy with sweet corn and a biscuit. Everything here taste like they would in any other KFC. I honestly love kfc but this place has probably given me the worst experiences I have ever had. The drive through takes about 10-20mins a person. The people on the other side of the speaker sound like they don't know what they are doing. If I had not been suck in front of a huge line of cars I would have left like most of the other cars. When I ordered at seven 7pm they had nothing left but white meat and their original recipe. When I finally got to the speaker phone a woman asked me to wait. I agreed even though I had been waiting an exceptionally long already for the people in front of me to pass. Then after about 10mins a man greeted me on the microphone. I told him I had a coupon and I wanted only what was on that coupon. He was confused and wanted to put me through the motions of actually ordering a meal. I finally was able to go up front and handed him my debit card and coupon. Very disappointed in this KFC tonight ordered through DoorDash they had 20 minutes to prepare our order. When the driver arrived KFC employees told him they don't have enough chicken and it would be a 30 minute wait. The DoorDash driver could not by DoorDash policy wait that long and our order was cancelled. They had no chicken. we waited for 40 minutes for 2- 2pc and 2 chicken littles, the worse part we weren't the only ones waiting that long. I went to get dinner for my family and when I got to the window the cashier name ash charged me then told me to pull up at the door that the food will be right out. I waited 20 min at the door, then I pulled back up to the window and I see the manager on her phone not once she acknowledged me. She finally came to the window 5 min later with the food. For fast food fried chicken, KFC meets my expectations. The store is very well kept and even though you may come out with a scent of fried chicken, the place is not overly greasy or oily. They have plenty of different meal options (2, 4, 6 pieces etc). I like their mash potatoes and gravy and corn cobbettes sides. They let you choose from white or dark meat. I went through the drive thru the other day at this location. I had a coupon for a family dinner 10 piece(any style chicken) two large sides, cole slaw and five biscuits. I pulled into drive thru expecting a line but there was no one. I told her I wanted all my chicken grilled. She said she had to count the chicken to see what they had! She said they had enough but no biscuits. She said I could have another large side in place. I dont know if I missed the rush but I got there around 645p. Ok, I don't usually post some reviews as quickly, especially if they rate under three starts. I also rarely frequent chains and fast food establishments. This is a newer location and I had a serious craving for fried chicken. I will start off with the good news. The place was immaculate. Clean tables, stocked condiment bar, and you can see the attention to detail on aesthetics. I was impressed about that. However, I ordered my food and did not have a particularly difficult order. Two meals and zero substitutes. The orders was deleted off the screen after standing around a few minutes. No biggie, I get that, oops. I handed over my receipt after the kid behind the counted tried to convince me I didn't order the meal I described. I pass him my receipt and he sheepishly verifies my order was no longer present. Perturbed but I get it. They now have my receipt which says what I ordered, crisis averted. Until he comes back. With an entire meal incorrect. I'm not trying to be condescending here, but wow. Perhaps it is a new crew but they didn't seem to have a flow going. Only one other party was in front of me and none others in the restraunt. I am not sure how they survive rush hours but I'm guessing it is ugly. I would be willing to test if they were just jetlagged or off their"A" game, particularly since they are the only chicken place in that area.
