Looking for the best wings in the area? Look no further! Tap and Growler is your local corner bar…read morethat makes the best wings with the biggest variety of flavors, hands down. Always cooked crispy to perfection without having to specify, which is how it should be. No stretchy chicken skin or rubbery meat found here! Each time we visit, we get three orders of wings to split and usually another sauce or two on the side to try. We really enjoy the dry rubs and they don't skimp on the seasoning either. There's always plenty floating in the bottom of the basket for extra dipping. I couldn't go through all the wing flavors we've had since that would take quite some time, but you should definitely try the Chupacabra and squeeze the lime. The sweet potato fries with Chipotle aioli are definitely worth getting too. Just a heads up, this place can get REAL busy during peak times (ie: Friday and Saturday night), so plan your visit accordingly. There are usually 1-2 bartenders who are also acting as servers, so it may take a few extra minutes, but it is well worth the wait. Staff has always been friendly and welcoming. TLDR: Great local bar serving up the best wings in town. Give them a few extra minutes to serve you if you show up on a Friday or Saturday

Looking forward to going back and trying a new sauce.

We ordered a four-section pie instead, and it was a great way to try a few different options. The Hot Boy pizza with hot honey was easily the standout, and the bottom right slice was also excellent. The darker meat slice on the bottom left was not my favorite. I did not enjoy it, but my partner did. Pizza was huge, and we had plenty left over. Spoke with a particularly rude girl who produced a receipt that showed only a first name "John" and no credit card info, No last name etc. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say- even showing her my online order from Sat- and said nastily - take it up with corporate. The portions for the meats were very big. My husband got ranch beans and sweet potato fries for his sides. While the sides were small for both of us, the sweet potato fries were for a family of 4... HUGE portion. He got at least 2 meals out of it. My sides were the Mac and Cheese which was very cheesy and delicious as well as the tomato cucumber salad. I love a good cucumber salad. Like I said before, those sides were very small. I wish I could have just had a plate of sides. The pickles they give you were also very delicious. I also don't like cornbread which came with our orders and theirs was actually sweet and moist. But like I said, as a person who really does not care for BBQ, a plate of sides would be amazing. We also got the 'Jalapeno Honey' wings which were a good size, but I didn't taste much jalapeno or honey for that matter. They were just kind of mild. My husband loved his meal but he does prefer Big Ed's BBQ in Matawan. Our whole meal was $80 which is quite a lot for no waiter service, just counter. The food was very quick and the service in general was okay. We probably would not be back, but it is worth it to check it out.
