Spicy chicken with pepper jack cheese
    Sumi K.

@ next to Wawa Lawrenceville, NJ My hubby ordered spicy chicken with pepper jack cheese sandwich and it was moist and tasty. The waffle potatoe fries were also good too. The interior was spacious and clean and the staff brought the order promptly. It was Friday 8:30pm but a lot customers were still coming in.

Made a mobile order and as soon as we went inside, it was ready!! Loved that. Everything was organized. They had parking spots for pick ups, mobile pickups, also a drive thru. We decided to go in. At first I was skeptical because I usually do drive thru. Like I said that the service was so nice and precise. Everything was ready upon arrival. I went here because they have a new drink I had to try. The watermelon mint drink. It was good. Not sure if I would purchase again though. The Mac and cheese and spicy deluxe sandwich is something I get often. I enjoyed.

This Chick-Fil-A is really about as good as any other of the same so I'm really not sure why the severe downgrade. Is it one of a kind the best, perhaps not but it really isn't that terrible either. Yes sometimes the inexperienced staff on the front end drive thru makes it challenging but the food's been good. It's fast food, I can't expect excellence in the presentation. There are also napkins and sauce in the bag without asking. The location is also great and perhaps throughput could be better but the location on route 1 makes this extremely popular. I do think they are doing more business than Hamilton as well with a dedicated double drive thru. I mean those complaining about getting their orders early in the procession and having to wait, would have to wait at most other drive thrus with a single lane pickup. There is an opening towards the end for up to the third car in a procession to leave once they got their order. Some drivers just aren't attentive (just put the dam phone down) or not proficient enough to figure that out and goto the right to leave. I suppose they could put up a sign to move over but I can't put that on Chick-Fil-A, nor can I fault them for getting my order earlier and start munching before I get back on route 1! I'll also say the operator of this particular branch is more generous with offers than Hamilton as well. I can't remember the last time I got one from there to be honest. It's nice to get a surprise in my account every now and then.

Asked for that Deluxe w cheese and homies really gave me a broken up bare a** dry sandwich. Quite uneventful for the first try of this location lol

These fries haven't a chance of being warm by the time you get home - they're already pre-ventilated!

I ordered the Rose Ddeok-Bokki, described as a less spicy, more creamy variation of the classic Korean street dish made with rice cakes and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy chili reduction. When I brought the bag back to the lunch room, my coworker took one look at the container and said, "Wow, that's a big bowl." Then I opened it, and we both learned a hard truth about perspective. The bowl was half empty. Not metaphorically. Literally. Still, what was inside was so good that I found it difficult to stay disappointed. The sauce was rich, layered, and deeply flavorful. It hit all the right notes. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and just complex enough to make you stop between bites and think, whoever made this knows what they're doing. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, the fish cakes soaked up that sauce like old friends. I'll admit, I regretted not ordering a side of rice to make the most of what sauce was left behind. That mistake will not be repeated. All in all, bb.q Chicken impressed me. The food was excellent, the drop off smooth, and the promise of even better things to come, namely their actual chicken, makes me look forward to a return visit. Next time, I'll bring rice and a healthier sense of optimism about bowl volume.

For…read moreweeks, cars have lined up in the shoulder of Route 33 like pilgrims on a fried chicken crusade, all of them seeking enlightenment in a red and yellow shrine called Dave's Hot Chicken. Naturally, I had to see what the fuss was about. I ordered takeout because the cars stretched past the entrance way like a metal conga line led by hunger and curiosity . The object of my investigation was Dave's Sliders with fries. The sliders arrived on little potato buns, as if each were the pride of a humble Idaho farmer, topped with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce. And reader, they were beautiful. Everything worked in harmony. The crisp of the chicken, the brightness of the slaw, the subtle rebellion of the pickles. I chose the "medium" spice level, which turned out to be about as dangerous as a well-mannered librarian. Next time I will go "hot," maybe even "reaper," because if I am going to suffer, I would rather it be for art or poultry. Now, as for the mac and cheese: tragedy, pure and simple. It tasted as though it had been boiled in a space-age pouch, the kind of food that might be served in the afterlife if the afterlife were a public-school cafeteria. It was mac and cheese that had given up on its dreams. Still, the name of the place is Dave's Hot Chicken, not Dave's Existentially Redeemed Macaroni. The chicken was excellent, and that is what matters. So I will give Dave's four stars out of five, because perfection is a myth, and because next time I intend to burn just a little brighter.

He knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and pointed us toward the Pink Beans. Absolutely delicious. Honestly, I could eat those by themselves and be happy. We ordered the 1/2 rack of charred ribs and a Cuban from the Combos menu, with yellow rice and peas, pink beans, and black beans on the side. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The ribs were falling off the bone, tender, savory, and seasoned flawlessly. The Cuban was also solid, and the sides pulled everything together perfectly. The food and service were fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Only thing missing? Mac and cheese and cornbread. If they added those, I'd probably be there right now. I'd definitely go back, and I'd absolutely recommend it. If you stop by, ask for Brandon and tell him this review brought you in for lunch. So you could order something, but when you arrive to pick it up, they don't have it. If you are willing to deal with that, by all means come here. I've liked everything I've tried so far--the rotisserie chicken, roasted pork, red beans, black beans, street corn salad, gandule rice, cole slaw, and the sauces, nearly all of which are pretty spicy. I asked the guy who was taking the orders and he made some recommendations. I had went with the hot level chicken and it was slightly too spicy for my tastes. Not the fault of the restaurant and I feel like spice levels vary so much from place to place, but I normally like spicy food and I didn't find it. Unenjoyable but next time I would get the medium. The food came out pretty quick and originally apprehensive getting just too tenders. I thought they were a decent size. I ended up finishing most of the meal and had a handful of fries left over.
