A family tradition for decades. Don't sleep on the Meatball sub with cheese! Automated and efficient with a wide variety of chips and drinks ranging from healthy to pure sugar and/or caffeine. Nicest staff. Small eat in counter and huge take away business. Don't forget napkins!

Still tastes as good as it did in high school 20 years ago! Got the half Sanchez and half Phat Lady. The chicken cutlets were so crispy and juicy in the Sanchez, and the cheesesteak in the Phat Lady had great flavor. I also loved the mozzarella sticks in both hoagies. Came out quick and piping hot.

This is your classic fat sandwich you'll want to reach for during your college days, game days, drunk nights, and cheat days. At this grab and go spot, you can save some $$$ by ordering at the counter and paying all in cash. There are a couple of park benches outside, but make sure to grab lots of napkins as it gets messy fast! - Sanchez: 3/5, lots of tangy sauce, fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders... and it tastes exactly what is described all mushed together. The bread however was nice and soft - Buffalo Cheese fries: 4/5, blue cheese on top, with Frank's red hot sauce. It tasted like a buffalo dip with crispy potatoes, but on this cold day the cheese solidified and it was a giant blob which made it hard to eat We got our sandwich relatively quickly. Service was fine, but the food didn't really sit well with me ://

An iconic spot in Princeton -- famous among students and tourists! They're best known for their hot sub sandwiches, which are packed with meat and fun and unconventional sandwich fillers like mozzarella sticks, hash browns, fried eggs, and more. These sandwiches are quite large, so I like to share a full one with a friend. It's not exactly the healthiest meal but it's a savory treat (though I don't think their cold subs are half bad either!) This is largely a takeout place and there's limited seating inside. You can place an order in advance for pickup as well and prices are reasonable. I'll have to give it a five just given what a culturally important place this is for me.

Got the 1/2 Sanchez sandwich. I ordered through their digital kiosk so the ordering process was simple. I was surprised though, for just about $10, this was a pretty big sandwich! The sanchez sandwich is basically fried chicken cutlet with cheesy mozzarella sticks. I think it was the first time I had mozzarella in a sandwich so that's a nice experience!

If I went to college at Princeton I'd be 300lbs.... This is what blacked out dreams are made of. The food is everything you want when you're pissed up or want to hate yourself. Think of any of your favorite deep friends apps, cover them in a heavy mayo based chipotle sauce, and stuff them in a hoagie roll. Thats what you get when you go here The service is as fast as can be. It's a little storefront with no seating and you grab your hoagies to go to eat right outside or in the car. It's always been packed when I go and everyone knows what they're there for, to be an absolute glutton.

Inside vibes. Note counter/stainless steel table. You can't get past them, making the space even smaller than years previous

Hoagie was good and a fair price. Their sauce is a little too tangy for me... I would suggest cutting the sauce amount in half.

At first, walking in gave me a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of the Olives I used to visit in New York City. While it's not the same restaurant, this one absolutely stands on its own. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had a kale salad loaded with vegetables and all kinds of good things like pecans, carrots, red cabbage, chick peas and more...he loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially for how good the food was. We took our meals to go and walked down the street to a picnic table, which made for a perfect, relaxed lunch in Princeton. Great food, great value, and a spot I'd happily return to. There were also some really good desserts to pick from as well, but I passed them up. Pro tip... there can be a line to order your food during busy times of the day.

This location opened I believe 1/21/25 so it is still fairly new. I have been here 4 times now,…read morethe first visit was a few days after they opened. Naturally, there was a new store glitch with the CC machine so I ordered online while in the store. And have ordered on the app since then just to have my sandwich ready or near ready when I get to the store. No issues for me & they have a frequent purchase program when you sign up. I have ordered the Classic Chicken club twice, the American Wagyu Club & most recently the Chicken Cheesesteak. The club sandwiches were quite stuffed & almost hard to eat (not something I'd eat in my car!). I did find the hand pulled turkey on the dry side though. I also stopped getting salt added as the first time it was a bit heavy handed with the bacon on the clubs. The Wagyu was good, may have to try it solo at some point. Also, my first club was the Medium 10" size & I couldn't finish it, all "Small" 8" sandwiches since then. I was disappointed with the Chicken Cheesesteak. It was not as "stuffed" as the cold sandy's. And the Chicken had an odd texture, a bit chewy. But cheesy as you can hopefully see in the pix. For dining in, they do have about 5 tables. So that's an option if desired. Will be going back to try a few of the other options & will update this review as needed. :)

What i love most is the service - everyone is Italian and they speak Italian to during breaks - very polite, friendly, fast, and they know how to build a sandwich. Very impressed with my first visit to D'Angelo's! I was in town for the Princeton graduation…read morefestivities, and we stopped here for lunch following the ceremonies. D'Angelo Italian Market is located a few blocks away from the Princeton campus. It is a corner store with some street parking around, along with a parking garage right across the street. I have been told parking is strictly enforced by the city around here, so make sure to pay for street parking when you go. The inside is that of an Italian deli and market, but more. There is seating inside, and also some outdoor tables. There is not table service, but you order at the counter and then can enjoy your meal. We had a part of 7, and were able to push a few tables together inside to eat. They have a ton of deli options, but also have baked goods, breads, and pizza slices that you can buy from the counter. Additionally, there is a large menu of other food items that are made to order. There are also cooler drinks to choose from. The staff were all so friendly. It appears they know their frequent customers, and they greet them as they come in. Though I was a new customer, I felt welcomed and thought all of my questions were answered in a kind manner. We ordered several items, with one being the Eggplant Rollatini for an appetizer. This was so good, as I love eggplant in Italian dishes. It was filled with cheese, but still crispy and delicious even in all the sauce. We ordered more rolls than what is on the menu since we had several people. Additionally, we sampled several of the pizza slices - Margherita Pizza, Parmigiana Pizza, Vodka Sauce Pizza. I enjoyed each of them. The crust is thin and crispy, as you would expect from a place like this. They were all good, but the classic Margherita was probably my favorite. For my sandwich, I got the Turkey Supreme Hero. It was really good and had a ton of meat on it. I love a good turkey sandwich, and this was exactly that. After seeing what the sandwiches on the rolls looked like, I probably would have gotten that instead of the Hero. Nonetheless, it was still very good. Our table got some other items, like the Princeton Tiger Hero, Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, and a Pepperoni Roll. No one had anything they did not enjoy. Did not get the chance to try either the desserts or any of the all day breakfast items. The next time I visit, I would definitely want to try some of those menu items! Like I said, I very much enjoyed my first visit to D'Angelo's. Everything was delightful, the staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. I hope to visit again next time I am in the area. Would highly recommend stopping here!
