If you walk in the restaurant they make you order on the computer and then only take care of the drive through customers and leave the I store customers standing there. They refuse to have human interaction. I have been standing here for 25 minutes and the girl that was here before me and did actually get her food they refuse to speak to her and give her drink cups that she ordered. They hear us talking about the terrible service and they continue to pretend like we are not standing here. Giving all of us dirty looks like we are the problem. When it comes to fast food, I'd have to say I have a pretty low bar. That bar has been established over hundreds of fast food stops, both as a child to a father who goes to McDonald's once per day, and as a father to young children who sometimes need a greasy supplement. So when I stopped by this KFC, I'd say all I expected was a quick bite that was reasonably warm. So much for expectations. I've been here two times, and not only are the visitors rare for lunchtime on a weekend, but you can barely find an employee working here when you're standing at the counter or in the dining area. Both times I've come here, the food has taken 10-15 minutes to come out despite very few customers coming in or going through the drive thru. The staff is barely visible, so you'll either wait at the counter for someone to show up or force yourself to order off of one of the "quick order" machines. And when the food finally comes out? We'll I've yet to receive hot (barely warm) food, even though I've dined in both times. Lastly, I should mention that the dining room is also not very clean. The tables were wiped down, but haphazardly at best. We looked around for a table without food on it and had to settle for one that only had a few sticky spots from past orders. I didn't get a tray with my order either, so you'll need to be prepared to make some heavy napkin placemats if you aren't taking it to go. Then the girl came out to the car and said my credit card didn't go through and needed to do it again. When I checked my transaction it showed it went through twice. Food is what you'd expect. Nothing life changing. I do mobile orders most of the time and all of those times, my food isn't ready by the time I set for pickup. When I do come here and order through the drive thru, there is always a line waiting for the drive thru. There's always people inside waiting for their food to be done. I am writing this while in the drive thru. As crazy as it may sound, we have been here for *half an hour* waiting for food that should've been ready 10 minutes before we got here. edit: was here for 40 minutes, and about half of my order is cold. This KFC has drive through open so any takeout/ delivery orders have to get in the drive through line. That drive through line gets some traffic pretty fast and the wait times just increase exponentially. I've ordered multiple times with them, some directly online, while other times, through food delivery services like DoorDash. They really have a hard time finding my order and every time I had to explain them about the order and the items that it consisted. If your order is ready, they'll just give it you at the drive through counter or else, they'll tell you to wait at the parking lot and they'll then bring it out to you. There is plentiful parking available outside. The food I've had from this place has been hot and fresh and never felt otherwise. read more

Ok.. I'll start by saying the dude that helped me was extremely polite and professional, especially to be so young and at a fast food establishment. So that was a great start. Also the chicken was hella fresh, maybe because I came so early so I got the super fresh grease for the day lol.. nonetheless it was hitting for sure. This was my daughters first time to KFC, so we got both the crispy and the original which she liked, so I'm glad this was a good batch they served up. ALSO, the kfc lemonade was maaaad good. I doubt it's real lemonade and I'm totally fine with that since I don't like pulp and actually despise it for that matter. So there's was a perfect combination of lemon flavor and sugar. Now.. the ONLY bad part about this experience is the fact that I ordered and paid for a 12 piece meal but only received 10 pieces unfortunately. Of course I didn't notice this until I got home. So that was was a big let down. Of course I wasn't going to drop back for 2 pieces of chicken, after already digging in when I noticed this miscount. This was one of the worst KFC experiences I ever had. I ordered the 2 piece fill bucket with corn and a biscuit. Everything in my order was stale and old. The chicken was dried up as if it had been sitting under the heater for days and biscuit was dry with no honey. This was the worst experience ever. I had to use my own sauce to make it work because by the time I got my order I was too hungry to try and cook. Something really should be done with the management of this location. They rank fairly low for me as long as they don't prepare the food fresh. Service is somewhat below average, I guess that's what you should expect from Kfc nowadays. Location isn't too bad just needs more improvement in other areas. Scenery is not that spectacular as a fast food and could need an upgrade. I come here begrudgingly because it is the only KFC around and conveniently on the way home from work & it is pretty darn hard to screw up fried chicken. But it is most often the case that a car will be standing at the speaker box and no one is taking their order. While you see employees walking in and out of the restaurant and cutting up. I will say they redeem themselves a little, for once they do take your order, you're out of there pretty quick. I went to the KFC on Rt.1 Woodbridge NJ. I happen to be parked at the hobby lobby next door. I figured it's easier to just walk inside, order and walk back to my car. I thought ordering inside at the counter like I have been doing my entire life was a simple process but KFC had to go and complicate something very simple. I was told by the employee that I cannot order inside that it was online pickup only. I told her that I was parked next door. She then asked me to either get my car or I can walk up to the drive thru and order. She really suggested this. These guys are totally incompetent. We were driving home super late and this was our only option. All I ordered was 2 5 piece chicken tenders, a large potato wedges, and a small SWEET LIGHTNING! Mountain Dew. They told me they didn't have enough chicken for both orders, but that I could wait. We agreed to wait and pulled up. First off, congratulations to Mountain Dew for making the worlds absolute worst drink. How someone at KFC could have tasted that and thought, "Let's sell this!" is unbelievable. I finally came up to the window for my order that expressed it was ready and got someone yelling that it's not ready and that I needed to walk inside to get it. But the attitude and telling me to go inside or leave was disgusting customer service. Whoever this lady is works at 2:40PM ON November 13th 2021. If management cares, go talk to your staff who works those hours on the drive through speaker/monitor. I hate giving negative reviews. Therefore, take what I say and reverse it. I love this KFC! I walk in and everyone standing around all happy and smiling. The employees were nice and attentive. I placed my order and wha-la! It came out in 27 seconds. No confusion or delays. The speed and professionalism of this place will have me coming back everyday for lunch and dinner. I love the cleanliness of the floors and tables. If you haven't tried KFC on Rt. 1 in Iselin, I would highly recommend it. Five Stars!!! (Seriously though the mash potatoes and gravy was pretty good. I drove up to ask if there was still the deal fOr 3 $ famous bowls and the server said no but but the promotion in reality was still going until January 27 and I visited them on the 23rd. There was no advertising for the deal on top of that at this location that is the reason whyy I asked in tHe first place and I checked online and kfc website states the info I wrote about promotion until 27th of January. This is second time at this location and both times the services was extremely slow. Last night, 3/26/19, I visited KFC and was greeted in the drive thru by Ashley. I ordered my food and asked for a Pepsi and was told by Ashley that the Pepsi was out. I ordered a Raspberry Lemonade instead and was told that it would be an additional $.60 for the lemonade which I felt was unfair seeing as though the restaurant did not have the soda choice I originally requested. I explained this to Ashley and the mic went quiet. I waited for about 5-7 minutes for her to return and she never did. I said hello into the intercom several times, and still, no response so I drove to the drive thru window because I thought something happened to the mic. I waited at the window for over 10 minutes before someone acknowledged me. There was another employee taking orders from the front but Ashley who was working the drive thru never came to the window. An older man finally came to the window to take my order and I explained to him what happened with Ashley. He asked Ashley about my order and she stated that she never took my order. The man made Ashley come and take my order at the window after confirming my story. With an attitude, Ashley took the order and still added the $.60 charge for the lemonade even after I switched it to a fruit punch. In addition to that, they did not even have the chicken I ordered. After being at this establishment for about 30 minutes and the lack of customer service being rendered, I asked for my money back and left. It is highly unlikely that I will ever return back to this location. The attitude and disregard for customer satisfaction was enough to make me just say forget the whole order. I have never written a yelp review before but something needs to be done about Ashley and her attitude toward customers. She must learn that she too will be a customer somewhere else and would never want the treatment she gave last night. It was not only the charge, it was the overall service experience. read more

Horrible! We ordered our food and so far the lady understood what we wanted and was nice to us. I went to find a seat and noticed ALL of the tables were DIRTY. We had to get a napkin and get water from the soda machine (which was hot) to clean a table to sit. On top of the table we spotted an insect. We then spot a flying roach.
