    Outdated drink station.

Typical McDonald's setup with a drive thru right off a major highway. Its located near the Menlo Park Mall off of route 1. The restaurant is outdated comparing to other locations I've been to. I usually order the Big Mac combo and have eaten inside a couple times. It was not that slow waiting for the food. I been to the drive thru once and they seem to be on point with the waiting times. Other than that I go here because its the nearest McDonald's to my house.

Worse customers service, not going back.

This location is very close to my house, but customers service is Soo bad that I rather go at te RT 27 in Edison.

SO much more room to breathe. Maria's moved into the old Latin Port space at 87 Central Ave, and they've been in the new location for about two months now. You can actually walk in, have a seat, and not feel like you've accidentally walked into someone's living room. I popped in today for a quick latte to go and went with a hot Coko Loko (that's latte with coconut syrup and a lil' hint of choc). And just when I thought I was done, I got this little surprise at the end: fresh coconut flakes in the final sips. If you're a coconut person, you'll want to try this one!

I was also excited that they moved to a bigger, brighter space. There's ample parking in the back or street parking which are refreshing changes compared to the old location. *FOOD* The menu has something for everyone, from classic breakfast staples to more creative brunch options. Come hungry -- the portions are generous and everything tasted fresh and made to order. I highly recommend trying their seasonal tiramisu latte (I seriously would order this everyday if I could) and their Tex-Fast Bowl which was decadently delicious. The drink was creamy with a hint of sweetness and definitely lived up to its name. If you're not a brunch lover, they also have other options like burgers, wraps, house specialties, quesadillas, and much much more! *SERVICE* Staff was friendly and welcoming, though the pace could use some improvement which I'm sure they'll figure out over time as they just recently set up in this space. Overall, Maria's Brunch is a great spot in Metuchen that's definitely worth visiting!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). Food was good, but when it got to us it wasn't hot and could tell it sitting under a heat lamp for a while. 2 tables got there after us and left before us. Understaffed and/or untrained. I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

For reference, the dog is about 60lbs so not necessarily a small dog (but of course, a friendly one!) I love that they have a good coffee menu, but I am basic and would stick to their iced coffee. Refreshing. I ordered their birria and have also tried their avo toast which was all good. I also had just a simple pancakes/eggs/sausage as well. Ambiance and decor are chic. Staff is friendly. Chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy, good consistency, but unfortunately they were salty (everyone in my family tasted and we all agreed). The yogurt parfait - you can't really mess this one up but I would like a little more granola crunchiness. They skimped. French toast - objectively, a good but very rich dish. However, not really what I would call French toast. It's just very large "blocks" of bread, flavoured on the outside and with topping. But the super thick cut won't let the bread soak through like a normal French toast. Finally - house coffee was really not good. It's not a bad place but I would probably not return.
