Typical Wendy's. I know there is nothing the restaurant could do, but 2 things ruined my experience while I was there for lunch. 1. There were a bunch of teenage boys next to us. They were loud and not nice. 2. Parking: I don't think there should be any parking spots close to the drive thru lane. It was my first time at the restaurant and did not pay attention when I parked. I literally could not get out because of the drive thru cars blocking me. Not a great design. read more

This is a pretty good location. They're usually fast, and efficient, good customer service, and rarely get the food order wrong. It's pretty clean inside also. I honestly don't have any complaints about this location and come here all the time, not just for convenience but because they're pretty reliable. They don't throw your food together and 9/10 the fries are hot. read more

My experiences at this Wendy's dates back ten years. Over that time I've had very few hiccups they've been good enough to earn a solid 4 star rating. However, I am compelled to leave a 5 star rating today simply because I see a noticeable difference in the way night staff are managing the drive thru orders. I had a mixup last night: I mistakenly placed a mobile order for the Woodbridge location that I intended to pickup from Edison. When I arrived at the window there were three young men one of which was a manager. The first young man told me he couldn't find my order and told me I'd have to drive back around to place my order through the speaker. The manager confirmed that my order did not come through. I was visibly upset because I refused to drive back around to wait another 10-15 min due to the long line. The third young man (Nate) was super sweet and began apologizing to me (even though it was totally my fault). At that same time, I looked back to my Wendy's order on the app and noticed that I had placed it at the wrong Route 1 location. While Nate was continuing to diffuse the situation, I admitted my fault to him yet he continued to be accommodating and I left feeling better. Then tonight I return for another late night order, this time ensuring that I had selected the right location on my mobile order, and upon arrival I announced my name and that I was picking up a mobile order. Then I hear, "is this the same Rhonda from last night?" That was Nate. I smiled and answered yes. And then I drove around to the pickup window to be greeted by a bright smile and warm hearted person. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for that level of customer service. It's the little things that go a long way. Wendy's kudos to you for making the Edison staff shine even brighter. I don't know if it's your training or whatever, but you're definitely doing something right when it comes to the night staff ( or maybe you're just lucky to have such a good hire in Nate). read more

Very quick service even with a high volume of customers. The food is consistent and isn't just thrown in the bag. I ordered a chicken blt which was average and fries were good and tasted like they were made recently. I also ordered a chocolate frosty which tasted good also. They have 2 freestyle machines and 2 kiosks. Wendy's version of signature sauce was discontinued but they should definitely bring it back. A woman came out quick to clean the tables as people started to. The renovated dining room offers less seating but has a more modern look. They have a few tables outside so you could see the lovely traffic on rt 1 while you eat. Overall value items are fair prices and haven't gone up over the years, and cost $4-6. All the meals for any of the other burgers and sandwhiches go up to $10. read more

My massacred salad....."Southwest Salad". I haven't eaten inside this Wendy's for years. I guess it was my fault for not having the idea that the SouthWest dressing was too spicy for me. I asked for Ranch to "dilute" it and it made it worse....all I see is all the employees standing around in front of the register talking really loud. I supposed music would be a better alternative than me listening to what cars they all drive. This is by far one of the slowest and laziest Wendy's ever! They had a huge line in the drive thru and inside. All the workers were sitting there instead of helping with the lines. The food was ok and was pretty much cold by the time I got to eat my food since they took forever to prepare it. I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes, waited inside for another 10 minutes and then waited for my food for 15 minutes. All these people need to go back to training 101. I am very disappointed with my experience at this Wendy's location. They did not even apologize for the long wait or offer anything to any customers. read more

I live very close to that place. one day I walked to the drive through and the sales was very defensive. he was playing language game and I said I needed a meal he added a meal and a burger. I said I needed a certain meal and I mention the word "burger" and then he corrected me by saying it's a sandwich. I mean it's fine to correct me but please do not use disgraceful look to downgrade people. I encounterEd very uncomfortable situation twice at that location. i am Asian and the people who were nasty to me. they are not white. by the way, the person who double ordered the food for me. he literally told me to my face that hey step aside m. the next customer needs to order. you will get your food but I have to take another order.... I don't think Wendy has been watching the store lately. My wife was traveling North on Rt 1 on Wednesday evening when she decided to get a Combo from Wendy's in Edison. She orders a single with cheese combo. She didn't eat or check the order right away. After getting to her destination she unwrapped her single to find out they have packed a spicy chicken sandwich instead of her burger. "Where's the beef?" Well she has a beef and it isn't on a bun. She was too far away to return so she decides to call the 888 number on the receipt which boasts that you can "talk to a real person in Ohio." She hears the phone being lifted off the hook to allow the sounds of a busy call center to come through and then "click," she is disconnected before anyone greets her.` So Wendy the idiots at your Edison store can't get an order right and the idiots in Ohio can't answer a phone, or maybe they just don't care. This review is for my drive-thru coffee experiences at THIS Wendy's. I'm giving them 10-Stars...off the charts but well deserved! When I am on-the-go and in need of a quick cup of coffee minus the gourmet cafe lines & fuss, Wendy's was there to save me! Hahaha...LOL..I have always had really good service doing drive-thru even for ordering one cup of coffee. They make a FRESH cup for me and they grind the beans for the brew. Bonus! :) When I go to fast food places for coffee at a non-prime time hour, I usually ask if the pot has been sitting there for a while. Of course I don't demand that they make me a fresh pot of coffee but I just won't order if it's been sitting around for 40 min. Most fast food places make too many pots of coffee that think it's ok to serve it an hour later or they pour the rest of an old pot into a fresh pot of brewed coffee. OMG! I don't want to drink rocket fuel...LOL Well, this Wendy's has offered to make me a fresh cup of coffee almost every time and my response was "Yes, please and thank you"! LOL :) Hahaha! Believe me, for a fast food place, their freshly grounded brewed coffee is tons better than the "Big M" place who has given me anything from stale, lukewarm, salty-tasting to thick/thin- consistencies. The staff has even brought the coffee to me at curbside while I wait for the brew. A big shout out to Cyrus who has always been super courteous, fast, and efficient! Wouldn't even give them a star, but had to in order to write this review. As usual what I ordered wasn't what I got in my bag. Got all the way home only to have to turn around. The staff was rude, heard the girl say to the others that she packed the bag, and I was only there to get free food. I advised that I don't need free "junk" food and I surely didn't want to go back out in the rain and come back to get "free" food, just want what I already PAID for. After shutting the window in my face, I advised not to be rude, and was told they would call the cops on me.
