Very slow service. The inside the of store is dirty while all the workers take breaks right outside the main door smoking and talking vulgar. The 2 times I have ordered food from this location is not crispy. It is like they have sat in oil. Workers that are inside look filthy. This place needs shut down. Do not go there. The service was very, very slow. They were out of our preferred drink. Then they were out of our secondary drink. I ordered a couple of extra biscuits anticipating putting jelly on them. When our order was presented, I was told they were out of jelly. Then they told me they were out of bbq dipping sauce cups for my chicken. There was no silverware out and I had to ask for that. A very simple drive through order, 4 pc Tenders were not extra crispy, ( actually were soggy and very thin breading) no napkins, no cutlery, no sauce with tenders. Hard to eat a side of mashed potatoes/gravy without any cutlery. read more

This was our second visit 2st was just ok, chicken was like warm and the chicken sandwich was like warm as well. This visit was total crap, I don't understand why these restaurants are serving food that they thselves would not eat. Ordered a 2 breast meal and the chicken was barely warm and one was a thigh not a breast. My pot pie was dried out and just barely warm and the Mac and cheese I ordered was gummy and cold. I had the thigh, which was charged as a breast and the Mac were refunded. But I got sick off of the pot pie. This is definitely the last time I get KFC food anywhere, the one in Charleston near Edgewood and the one in Corridor G is horrible as well. No one care what the serve or how fresh it is. Let's just say that the reviews of this KFC are very outdated. Stopped in to grab some takeout and get back on the road. The service was great, younger employees on the counter along with the manager, all were were courteous and helpful in describing the meals. Picked up a 3 piece Big Box original, chicken was fresh, very hot and delicious, along with the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Great customer service, keep up the good work read more

Horrible service. Manager had to get involved to order the kid working front cashier to provide me half the order missing from my drive through order. Car was still parked and hadn't pulled away from where they directed me to wait in the first place. Kid just kept repeating the back told him the order was all there and nothing he can do. 40 min wait in total. read more

the food was great but the manager and another associate was out in the open arguing about a schedule that should have happened in the office and not where customers are sitting eating. Get better managers that should know to talk to an associate in the office and not out in the open where everyone in the whole store can hear. read more

This is the worst KFC I've ever been too. Kfc is by far my favorite but I will drive 20 mins out of the way to avoid this one.

Food: Fried chicken. That is all. No really, nothing else on the menu really satisfies me except the fried chicken. Just give me a bucket of chicken legs, please. I would give this place a big fat zero if possible. Multiple times I have tried to pick up chicken there and they didn't have any. Today I thought I would play it smart and order online. I got a message that they were just finishing up my order so I got in my car and took off--about a 10 minute drive. After sitting in the unmoving drive thru for a long time, I went inside. The order hadn't even been started it. The guy said it would be 15 minutes. I asked why I was sent an email saying it was ready. He belligerently told me that he didn't know who sent me the email. Uh, KFC did. No apology, no explanation, just pointed out how hot and fresh it would be. Great, but all of the homemade side dishes for the rest of our meal will be icy cold. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I generally always prefer the Grilled Chicken but, this KFC seldom, if ever, has any prepared. In most all cases, it's been a 40 to 45 minute wait to get even a one or two piece meal. This last visit (a "to-go" order) is the first time I've ever had 'chicken jerky'... it was definitely a challenge to eat. One of the breasts in one meal was so tough and dry I could hardly chew it. No telling how long it had been sitting there drying out (zero juices). You would think the preparer of the order could actually tell this was 'not' a piece of chicken I would want to serve to a customer.... but, apparently they can't tell when it's blackened and shriveled up.... or, they just don't care. I could have driven all the way back over there I suppose but, I bit the bullet (no pun intended) on this one. Besides, that's all the 'Grilled' they had and it would have been another 45 minute wait to replace it. I'll go a few more miles out of my way to the Hurricane Creek Road KFC... they've yet to disappoint with their food and service. read more

Complete and total disaster. It was so bad that it was almost comical. The cashier kept asking customers if they had any candy for her as she took their orders. She did so without any explanation as to why she wanted it. She offered a 50% discount to one customer if he'd leave and bring her back a candy bar. They had no tea. Water and/or urine was standing in the floor of the bathroom, because the floor drain was apparently clogged. There was only one customer that ordered before me, yet it took 23 minutes to get my food. Most all the tables were filthy. I can not recommend the KFC in Teays Valley, WV. If you want KFC, I'd suggest going down one more exit to the KFC in Hurricane. read more
