I need flavor, not a sodium spike. Now, my son? Whole different story. He would eat Whataburger every day if I let him. I just have to admire it from a low-sodium distance. If you are not on BP watch, go for it. If you are? Maybe split it with someone or keep some water close.

I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by patting it dry, but thank God I opened it because there was raw meat in it and it doesn't even belong in my Jr. Burger. That's so disgusting. How do y'all live with yourselves knowing you're serving people raw food and could get someone seriously sick?

I heart Wendy's yes I do I heart Wendy's how bout you??!…read more The innovators of the 99 cents menu have always offered quality food at a reasonable price. This location does Dave Thomas proud with a smiling face and patient spirit, which is a MUST in the fast food industry. Been through the drive though a couple of times and I must say that the wait time is a little less to be desired. Drive thru stays busy; sometimes It breezes through the customers and sometimes...well you took the words right out my mouth! On my last visit, the cars were piled up so much in the drive thru, I just knew that a takeout order was in order. To be fair, this is a fast food restaurant, so I only expect that it doesn't have a foul smell in the air, the water fountain area is clean and accessible as well as tables. Friendly faces would be nice as well. Greeted and acknowledged when I came in is a nice change of pace. Decided on the kids meal with an extra 6 piece. However, I wanted to know if the kids meals were still $1.99 after 4PM. The lady told me no, but said if a customer ask for the 1.99 kids meal, she overrides the sale and gives it to them. So sweet!!! Can't beat that. If you want quality food that doesn't break the budget, then this is the place for you. And if you want your taste buds to be satisfied, then this Wendy's will accomplish that goal for you too!

Takeout via Drive-Thru: This was my first time trying Dave's…read moreHot Chicken, that reddish hue of the batter made me nervous, so I went with the mild spiced chicken slider, just to be on the safe side. The chicken was moist, and the batter had a crisp texture, a little different from the usual fried chicken coating I'm used to. I even caught a hint of something subtly sweet, which actually made me enjoy it more. The kale salad and potato bun really set it apart from your ordinary chicken sandwiches. The mild heat could've used a little more kick, so next time I'll bump it up to at least a medium. My sandwich came with fries, pickles, and a side of Dave's Sauce. The sauce was okay, nothing special, but the fries were hot and crispy, and the pickles added a nice crunch. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars, good, not great, but tasty enough that I'd come back for another round.
