Great comeback McDonald's. A year ago this place and specifically the staff was not even close to what I think of McDonald's standard worldwide. The food was cold. The bread was stale and the staff uninterested in customer service. I returned a year later against my better judgement and found the restaurant reborn. A new staff and a new attitude. I usually don't go to McDonald's but I was craving a caramel sundae. So, I went there last night for a Caramel Sundae & a cookie. The guy at the counter took my order & then walked away. People after me were getting their orders & I was still waiting. I could see the fresh cookies were baked (so it wasn't like I was waiting on them), but nobody made my order. It took almost 10 minutes to get a sundae. Then when he finally handed me the sundae. The lid wasn't on properly so I got ice cream & caramel all over my hands & on top of that. So I went to this location on Jan. 14, 2019 at around 12 at night. It has two drive thru lanes. I went to the left one, and waited for a couple of seconds before I said hello for like 5 or 6 times and no one answered. So I had to back up and go to the other drive thru lane before some one finally took my order. I went to the first window to pay, and I was like "Hey, you didn't hear me on the left lane. The gay mexican guy with pointy ears like the devil wearing a stupid scarf said, "No." I was like is the left speaker broken? And he said "Yes." Like very dismissive attitude, like he didn't want to answer my question. So I said to him, "Hey whats with your attitude?" And he said, "I don't have an attitude, but I can give you one if you want." I lost it after that and curse at him. No gay guy 10 years younger then me is gonna talk to me that way. After I curse at him he kept telling me to come closer to the window. At this point I called him a stupidass and took off, and as I'm taking off I could hear him scream MotherF@@@ker. Awful service. They added a second lane, to keep you in line even longer. I stood in this lane for way over 15 minutes, to just drive away. It was working but they ignored it, took one car for 10 in the first lane. What a waste. When I spoke to the manager all she said was "I apologize". This macdonalds consistently lacks on service and warm food. Just askin for warm food. You would think cause they are so busy all the time that the food would be fresh because of turnover. Its not. Hardly ever. After today and this review which I am sure they could care less about, we'll try the uvalde location or somewhere else. We live within 2 miles of this place and it sucks. Always.
