Well, I'm definitely not a moron and I can count out a $10 bill and $5 in singles so I'm wondering what kind of scam they are running in Burgaw? We will NEVER return to that McDonalds. There was a white girl with a book bag on , and an older African American woman up front behind the counter. There was a few more people in the back but didn't get a good look at them. So i know there was at least 6 workers in the building at the time. Also the drive thru was manageable. Maybe 5/6 cars in line. The drive through was NOT backed up. While waiting, two people come in for a messed up order. Around then I ended up leaving and went to Taco Bell. It was not busy when I arrived. There were four people already in process of ordering and were angry and vocal about the wait. Behind them was a couple, which were directly in front of me..... 20 minutes to take 6 orders (Check the video footage)? My goodness shut the place down. They never even took my order and she walked away again before taking my order. Also very dirty location. I usually pick bojangles because it is the best option for fast food, but this location is horrible. I was gone before people behind me got their food! Literally pulling away as they were getting in vehicle with food in hand. No idea how their reviews are this high!!! Must be paid.

I got 2 eggs over medium, bacon and wheat toast. The food was good, but that's ok! What I didn't like, I had to butter my own toast and there was no rye toast offered, nor was there any type of potatoes or hot tea. Additionally, we ate on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. I understand why this is how they operate, but as someone that does not like using plastic unless absolutely necessary, it was a small turn off. The smiling faces that ran the restaurant were welcoming and very accommodating. I was happy to support local, but that was the only appeal to me.

The dining area itself appeared clean, and their posted health inspection score was a 94. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and cheddar cheese bites, along with a half sweet tea and half unsweet tea. Everything came out hot. The cheddar cheese bites were especially good and full of flavor. The fries were hot but a little underdone and not very crispy, although they still tasted good. The half-and-half tea was excellent and very refreshing. One major downside, however, was the condition of the men's restroom. It was in rough shape, with splattered soap all over the vanity area and generally poor cleanliness. It was unpleasant enough that it would make me hesitate to bring my wife or family here unless that situation improves. So overall: friendly service, hot food, and some tasty items on the menu--but the restroom cleanliness needs serious attention. Fix that, and this place would make a much better impression.
