When we got to the second window, we were told that our credit card was declined. We told the cashier that we paid cash so no credit card could be declined. Then he tell us we are $1 short. Well, I'm definitely not a moron and I can count out a $10 bill and $5 in singles so I'm wondering what kind of scam they are running in Burgaw? We will NEVER return to that McDonalds. Employees should be ashamed of themselves and the manager is not doing an adequate job making sure temps are checked before food goes out. Serious you all could kill someone. Shame on you. Never again KFC.

I got 2 eggs over medium, bacon and wheat toast. The food was good, but that's ok! What I didn't like, I had to butter my own toast and there was no rye toast offered, nor was there any type of potatoes or hot tea. Additionally, we ate on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. I understand why this is how they operate, but as someone that does not like using plastic unless absolutely necessary, it was a small turn off. The smiling faces that ran the restaurant were welcoming and very accommodating. I was happy to support local, but that was the only appeal to me.

The dining area itself appeared clean, and their posted health inspection score was a 94. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and cheddar cheese bites, along with a half sweet tea and half unsweet tea. Everything came out hot. The cheddar cheese bites were especially good and full of flavor. The fries were hot but a little underdone and not very crispy, although they still tasted good. The half-and-half tea was excellent and very refreshing. One major downside, however, was the condition of the men's restroom. It was in rough shape, with splattered soap all over the vanity area and generally poor cleanliness. It was unpleasant enough that it would make me hesitate to bring my wife or family here unless that situation improves. So overall: friendly service, hot food, and some tasty items on the menu--but the restroom cleanliness needs serious attention. Fix that, and this place would make a much better impression.
