I had gone through a VERY BAD experience with Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills in obtaining my leased Lexus NX200t (see review under Jim Falk Lexus), so you can understand that I was hesitant to have another poor experience with another Lexus dealership.....but it was time for 1st maintenance on the car. I could not have been more wrong! My entire service experience at Keyes Lexus on Van Nuys Blvd was AMAZING, from the appointment phone call (and thoughtful reminder calls), to the GREAT Service Rep I had at Keyes Lexus: ALI. Ali was so great! My prior three cars were Mercedes Benz models, so I have to admit I was accustomed to exceptional customer service; Ali and Keyes Lexus exceeded anything I had experienced with MBZ! Ali knew it was my first time there, so he gave me a personal tour, offered me coffee/latte and a cookie, described the service and the one-hour wait, etc. He didn't just point out the lounge, he walked me to it and made sure I was comfortable. The car was done (and beautifully washed, not just sprayed with a hose) well within the promised hour. He presented no bill for the service ("it's on us!"), even though I had not purchased my car from his dealership. He also recommended a few things I might want to think about (e.g. updating the navigation system) and again "Just bring it in Frank when you have some time; we are happy to take care of it for you". Keyes can be sure I will recommend their Lexus dealership any day of the week. And Keyes is lucky to have a Service Rep like Ali working with them. He is #1 in my opinion! This dealer is honestly just terrible. It started with me getting to the dealer a couple days ago. I found a decent car and everything was fine. I asked what the last price on the car is they said the price and I said give me a couple days to think about it and get to you. Then I go in today and look at the same car, I explain got the guy that we have this deal we talked about. Then Arman Chivichyan a sold called Sales Manger, be really an overall jerk. Comes up to me and tells me that the payment is going to be about 400$ more than what we had said before. Then I said I want to speak to Alex Shirdel the original person who I made the deal with. The he comes back to me with a deal 200$ over what we had originally agreed upon. I walk out the door, Alex comes after me saying his general manager wants to speak to me. I never see the general manager and Alex says here is the deal which was still $20 over what was said 2 days ago. I decide to walk away from the deal, when Alex decide to have some attitude against me. He is a older gentlemen but no way a sales rep. He decide to come and give me a whole bunch of sass for his general manager working a deal that wasn't what was originally not the number we agreed upon the first time I was there. My recommendation NEVER GO TO THIS TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP!!!!!! If you have no choice make sure you avoid Arman Chivichyan and Alex Shirdel at all costs. read more

I don't like to write reviews because anyone could have an off day. A luxury car company should be about integrity and honesty. I've been driving Lexus vehicles for over 20 years, I know the vehicles very well, being belittled or talked down to like I don't know anything about cars, isn't the way to go. Sadly I only use this dealership when completely necessary, recalls or what have you. Service department isn't the friendliest, it's like being at DMV, not all, but most employees walking around looking miserable. The reason I write this review, after having recall service done to my vehicle, I noticed a few things tampered with and changed on my vehicle. My car smelled liked bad body odor and garlic. Loose change on the floor of the drivers side, as I picked it up to put it in my change pocket, located on the left side of the dash, I had left $5.00 in single which I use in case of extra couple of dollars needed for emergencies. It was gone, I wouldn't have known if the change on the floor wasn't there. Called back the dealership to notify them about the situation. No results yet after several hours. Waiting for a call from a manger. I feel like you have to purchase several very expensive vehicles from this dealership to get good service. So sad. read more

I was lied to and told that they were not running a hard inquiry on my credit which turned out to be untrue. They pressured me until I got a migraine headache and then continue to pressure me after I announced that I needed to go home. This dealership is the most reasonable on service of all the ones in LA. DO NOT go to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Or Glendale-- they will rip you off and fix things in your car that don't need fixing and charge you $$$$$. Remember, you buy Toyota products because they last a long time- your service shouldn't be expensive like a Range Rover or Bentley. I still go to the dealerships for service because the amenities- such as loaner cars and coffee lounge. But it's important you know how to discuss your car with the sales reps. I made sure to book my appointment with him the second time. Make sure to check out their cafe area. The chocolate chip cookies are baked there and the most delicious I've had! I will never bring my Gx back to do any type of service here. My wife was complaining about a squeaking, whistling noise coming from the car during braking and turning, took it to the dealer and asked them to look at it went on a test drive with the tech he heard it, they told me it was the rear brakes. Ok fine I replaced them at the dealer then took the car home same noise and squeaking. Took the car back same routine but now it's the front brakes ok fine let's change those too I'm already $1500 in at the point. They change the front brakes take the car home guess what it's the same thing. Took it back to the dealer took it on a third test drive with the tech now they tell me oh it's the bearings! They changed it for free under warranty. I asked them to rotate the tires the service adviser Anthony who looks like he just woke up half the time told me they forgot to do it. A year later my wife is complaining about the squeaking again I take it back to the dealer guess what they told me it's the front brakes. Really the front brakes that I paid to replace not even a year ago at the same dealer that telling me the front brakes are worn out. Either they are playing games and just charged me to change my brakes and didn't do it or they charged me and forgot to do it. The service manager doesn't really make anything better just walks around all day thinking he owns the place. read more

Between my immediate family and I, we have had about 6 Lexus cars spanning back to the late 1990's and to be honest, I have never been blown away by the service at these dealerships but Keyes Lexus is in a class on its own. I recently bought a used car from there and by far the highlight was Mayra from the Internet Sales Team. We had a few hiccups that required me to go back a couple of times but she really did her best to fix every issue and you can tell she really cares about the customer. It was my first time buying a car myself. And I regret it so much for doing so at this location. If I could take it back, I really would. On the Internet the price at their dealer was the cheapest compared to all the other dealers. Unfortunately, they charge so much for all the other ( not so necessary) services such as finishing touches, nitro fill, etc that other dealers don't. I saw a car that was $1000 more expensive at glendale lexus but looking back at the paper works, the final price was $2000 cheaper than what I paid for at keyes. Same car same option similar miles. I asked for the price including everything and I asked for over $33,000 for a car that was advertised as &23,000. And I said the price was way lower on the internet. Then she said oh she'll give me the discounted price. I mean were you gonna charge me $7000 extra if I haven't asked? In addition, I'm being charged $300 for auto knight motor club-T&W w/wo key, $1500 for finishing touch, and Theft code $995. And I don't even know what theft code $995 is. For vehicle registration and license fee , they are $250 each. And looking back at the glendale quote, they only charge $155. I ended up paying over $28,000 excluding the interest for a car that was advertised at $23,000 At that time, I've assumed they all cost the same and just signed the contract. If I could take it back, I want to cancel out of this. I'm so sad for buying a car at keyes, when I should be excited to get a new car. I want to go back in time and tell myself don't buy the car from keyes. If I could I really would take it back. I truly feel cheated and I was too naive and nervous to think straight. read more

I wish there was something positive to say about anyone at this dealership. My husband leased a vehicle from Keyes Lexus Van Nuys. There was an agreed on vehicle price and based on that price, as well as interest rate, we moved ahead with the lease. The Finance Department did not calculate the lease amount based on the final negotiated price and in addition added items that had not been approved to the lease in order to make the numbers. They then proceed to give you all the documentation of the lease on a USB stick and an electronic board where you sign the contract without being able to read it in it's entirety because they zoom in to the signature files only. My husband went to the dealership the very next day after seeing the lease numbers, etc. were incorrect and was assured by Mr. Hakakian that the problem would be corrected, but that never happened. At this dealership you get the run around from the salesman, Dany Banayan to Michael Iriana in the finance department to Alex Ayyoub who try their hardest to confuse you. The amount of phone calls and emails back and forth were not resolving the problem. We asked that they rebook the lease but were told that they could not do that. Well then, how will you correct the lease amount? We spoke with Lexus Financial and were told that the dealership can rebook a lease up to two months into a lease. Mind you, we have bought and leased Lexus vehicles since they came on the market. Have dealt with Lexus of Oxnard, Lexus of Beverly Hills, Valencia Lexus, etc. always professional. When I found out that the new owners of Keyes Lexus was Lithia Motors Inc. I reached out to them and still after several weeks of emails (again) an adjustment was finally made. All of this took 3 months!! No one should have to have this kind of experience in leasing a vehicle. Be careful with this dealership and definitely request a paper contract no USB stick. There is more I could say about this transactions but this should be plenty for anyone to get an idea of what they are up against in dealing with this dealership.
