I was recommended to Keyes Lexus by a co-worker of mine for my normal service, which hasn't been done for a few years unfortunately. I did not come to purchase a car, just for service. I was helped by the service guy by the name of Anthony. He was very polite when explaining what needed to be done to my car and I felt very comfortable in his hands. I got some information for what to do to keep my maintenance up from this point on and am looking forward to bringing my car back to Anthony for service again. I definitely recommend Anthony for service if you bring your car here!! read more

Keyes Lexus - Car Dealers Near Me - Van Nuys, California

I dreamed of owning a Lexus for awhile and since I live half a mile away from this dealership went there first. Did appraisal on my potential trade in prior to coming, I also worked with my credit union on my potential loan. And did a research on the cars I wanted and an average cost, was looking for a used certified vehicle. Was greeted by one salesman who looked at me and apparently decided he was too good to assist me so he shoveled me to some Arabic elderly salesman. Hm... ok. I on purpose dress up poorly so they don't think they can get as much $$$ out of me as possible. I am a single female in early 30s. We get to the office and start talking about what I am looking for and how much I was willing to pay. The dude started repeating "not bad, not bad" and offered me NOTHING close to what I was looking for and for a higher price. I had to stop him at least 5 times... at this time their appraiser was working on my car. He comes back with the report the salesman looks at it and starts with his "oh, not bad, not bad". I asked how much they are willing to give me... and here it goes $3000 for the car that was appraised for $8500... at this point I just walked out. Ridiculous at its best. Later my friend told me they had experience with the dealership and it was the worst they ever had. No wonder, I would suggest to avoid them at all cost. read more

This is my first review for a car dealership and it's for Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys. I was initially skeptical about how my experience will be, especially after having read the negative feedback. I felt the need to write and share my excellent experience with my recent purchase of the NX 350H and the person who deserves full credit for this 5-start review is Ben Safavi, Internet Manager. Ben was upfront with me right from the start, he was honest with his offer, and most important of all, he kept his word. I do believe that a customer needs to know exactly what he/she wants e.g. car model, package type, etc. in order to make the sales transaction smooth and fast. Right from the start, I was transparent with the car, color (both interior and exterior), package type, and budget; I shared all these with Ben at the initial point of contact and stressed that I'm a serious buyer, whose goal is to experience a smooth and fast sales transaction. Ben delivered all these, very nicely and honestly, right from the start. He's prompt in his responses, courteous and patient. My husband joked about having the big red bow and Ben delivered this request: we could not take the bow home but he took it off another showroom car and placed it on my new car so we could take pictures...such a wonderful extra mile to go! I highly recommend you ask for Ben Safavi, Internet Manager if you're looking to purchase a Lexus, you will not be disappointed. Very nice job, Keys Lexus! Ben Safavi is a true gem and an asset to your establishment! read more

This is our fifth car from Keyes Lexus and LeeAnn Galola helped us for last two cars including the one I've got last Friday. I had a wonderful experience with Service Advisor Arshak Kirakosyan. As soon as I arrived, Arshak quickly took initiative to identify the issue and escalated to the service team promptly. Although we ran into a minor delay in part stock, Arshak offered several solutions to accommodate my time both effectively and efficiently. I look forward to working with him at the next scheduled service appointment. read more

I've been a Lexus customer for 4+ vehicles over 10 years. Came to Keyes Lexus to return my current lease and waited over an hour as I watched customers looking at or buying cars getting helped left and right. Once I was helped the entire turn in process took just 5 minutes. Why did I wait over an hour for someone to read my odometer and print out one page for me to sign? After I waited over an hour to turn in my vehicle Keyes Lexus wouldn't even call me a Lyft to get home? Probably would have leased another Lexus had their service been better. Terrible customer service for a loyal customer for over a decade. I'd definitely buy/lease a car from another Lexus dealer so you get the luxury service you deserve. read more

Good and bad. Keyes Lexus had the used car I'd been looking for listed online. Called to confirm it would be there and they enthusiastically said it was. The salesman, Q, was just fine - I knew what I wanted and was able to talk the price down a little bit. I had my loan already secured and neither Q or the finance guy tried to push me on into one of their own (it was a great deal - check your local credit union!). Everything about buying the car was relatively simple. Everything since hasn't been great. After I got it home, I noticed a few scratches on the door. I also realized that the center console was missing a tray. Called Q a few times, finally got the car into the dealership on a scheduled appointment. After 3 hours, they were able to take a few of the paint scratches with a solvent, but they didn't buff out anything. Didn't make much of a difference. And I didn't get my tray, but I was tired of waiting so I left. Called Q a week later, who told me he could get the tray, but I'd have to pay $40 for it. I just dropped a lot of money on a car, but I'd have to pay $40 for a tray that should've been there in the first place. Fine, whatever. He said he'd call me back when they got it. A month later, I'm still waiting on him to call me back with the part. But the dealership is nice. They have free cookies. You eat those cookies. read more

This was the best car buying experience I've had! I purchased a 2008 RX400h. We met with the Manager and didn't have to haggle over the price, we made and offer, he countered with a very reasonable offer and we were done. The whole transaction took about 1 hour total. We bought cash, so we didn't have to wait for financing. The only "hard sell" was for their extended warranty, which we didn't purchase. While we were waiting for the paperwork, they offered us drinks (cofee/water), and gave us a cooler bag with 2 commuter mugs and a hat! That was a nice touch. Overall, love this place. I would recommend it to anyone. The service was really amazing! read more

Loren H you apologized but didnt offer a solution nor offered to contact me in order to answer my question Nor came up witha way to try to make it up to me Never again!!!! Keyes lexus customer service sucks. Sales department is awesome of course. But once you've bought from them you don't matter. I cannot believe my experience with them. They're all about offering the free cookies and coffee. I don't need that. I need help with my car if they can't provide that nor the answers I need they don't deserve my business. read more

Saab is the man! Seriously awesome service. I was in the market for the new RC 350 F. I ran the numbers and knew the deal range I wanted to be in. Saab gave me exactly what I wanted and delivered! |Pretty lame... Went here a week ago to trade in my CT for another one with comparable features/price point. Long story short they told me "Sorry we can't help you. There is no way we can get you in that price range because we have no inventory of regular 2015s in your price point." So basically they sent me away but said they would look into getting me what I want from other dealerships and would call me the next day. Nobody ever called me and i did not hear from anyone so I took matters into my own hands called Lexus Thousand Oaks and drove off in a new CT sport for exactly around what I wanted to pay. You snooze, you lose.... read more

Love love love! Great experience from the first phone call through financing and drive away! I waited until the absolute last minute to return my CT200h and I had one day to find a new car lease. Sunday! When several of the dealerships were closed. I live in Marina Del Rey so my go to Lexus dealership is in Santa Monica, but they quoted me such a high price that I called Beverly Hills. They were $40 lower. Finally, I went online and sent out a request to several dealerships for a quote on a UX250h F Sport lease. Shaw Namini called me within minutes. He was immediately straight forward, professional and affable. He gave me a quote over the phone that was $80 lower than Beverly Hills. He did not pressure me at all. And he turned a stressful situation into a very pleasant one. Of Course Beverly Hills got competitive and cut their price by $100. They are much closer to me than Van Nuys, but it was Shaw that got me to go there. He wasn't trying to see what he could get away with charging. He just wanted me to have a good experience getting me in the car I wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable. Not only about the car, but about what kind of inventory was out there within a 500 mile radius. I traveled the extra 20 miles to go to Keyes, not just because Shaw gave me a great price, but because I trusted him. I know that car sales people get a bad wrap. Often for good reason. I have certainly dealt with my share of pushy, greedy dealers who try to manipulate and pressure me into a sale. But Shaw (and his manager Sam) are not like that. They just seem like good people with good intentions who want you to have a good experience. And as a last COVID related note...they had the car ready and disinfected when we got there. Everyone in the office was wearing masks. Shaw and Sam kept their distance. We test drove the car on our own. And they got us in and out very fast. Thank you Shaw! We love our new UX and we loved our experience with you and Keyes Lexus. read more

I came here to buy a certified used Lexus IS, and I must say that Sam Kalbassi is one of the most caring, patient and honest salesmen I've come across! He made sure I was able to find a car with a good deal and worked with me to make it happen! If I ever want to buy another Lexus, I will definitely come back to this location to work with him ONLY! I can't stress how helpful he's been for my family. If you decide to come by this Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys, make sure you ask for Sam K! He's the best! read more

I just took my 2007 RX400H in to Keyes to have them take a look at an electrical issue I was having with one of my windows as well as condensation that was collecting in the headlamps. I made an appointment online the day before and when I arrived at Lexus, they couldn't find my appointment. This was not an issue however. The rep that met with me, Jacob, barely batted an eye at the fact he couldn't find my appointment and took great care of me. Thankfully, everything was still under warranty and they sent me off with a very nice RX to use for the day at no charge. The work was finished in half the time they said it would and my car was returned to me cleaned to perfection. Other then the appointment setting snafu, I can honestly rate my experience at the service dept very high and will definitely be back when the time comes. read more

From the salesperson Haid to the Sales Manager Matt Zanjani, to the General Manager David Kohan, I can't describe how great of a service I received. Being in the business myself and a General Sales Manager myself of one the largest Nissan dealerships in the world, I have never seen a General Manager like David Kohan going around greeting every customer...at 9pm!! I got here late after going to a BMW dealership, and the Infiniti dealership down the street. I wasn't even thinking Lexus, until the last minute before getting back on the freeway to head back home. I went by Keyes Lexus literally just to "look" at the RX350 for my wife. Haid the salesperson is such an awesome guy! I was chatting it up with him like we weren't even talking business! Mr. Matt Zanjani the sales manager came out and greeted me and we just talked about movies and cars! Lol. I was seriously thinking the BMW X6 because I've owned one before, however because of Said, Matt Zanjani and Mr. David Kohan's service, I called the wife and told her she's getting a Lexus. I can honestly say because of these 3 gentlemen I purchased the Lexus. I can truly say I learned a little more about customer service last night. If it weren't for the 3 gentleman I mentioned, I would've probably just picked up another BMW. I personally have owned 7 BMW's and currently drive an i8. My wife has been texting me all day telling me she can't stop driving her new car!! Btw, my wife is due tomorrow!! Thanks again guys!! read more

My experience here was crappy. The sales team was alright although my sales person was not too knowledgeable as i myself knew more than she did about features. That aside, when it came to the finance department thats when it really went down hill. They had me come back for signatures that they missed, reshuffled my pay date, even my monthly fee, said i may need to return the car a week sfter driving off the lot, just total unprofessionalism. I noticed the base price on the 2019's were 40k, and the base price on the 2016's were 36k. I mentioned to the sales person that it's amazing your cars only depreciate 4k in 3 years (sarcasm). He told me he could knock a few thousand off the 2016 (of course). I then showed him kbb had that 2016 car's "fair price" (certified dealer value) as 26k. He told me kbb doesn't sell cars (massive eye roll). DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU SHOP HERE. Buyer beware, this place is for suckers. read more

I sold my car back to LEXUS in August and still haven't been paid yet. I am owed money from both Lexus Financial and the Dealership and neither have paid me. I spoke to the General manager and was told I would be contacted in a day or two and he was working on it but still nothing. Its a racquet and I am at the point of just passing it on to an attorney but this is trash. Never would a business go without collecting their money and this one is out here not giving me mine. If you are going to sell your car go to anyone else but these people. Carmax you get a same day check and most other places. At this point interest has hit my account several times on what I wanted to use the money for thank god I wasn't desperate but still a pain in the ass knowing they are costing me money on so many fronts. Garbage people this dude Yhahya been "working" it and still no result and now he won't answer my calls so now i have to take time out of my day and my job to drive there yet another expense associated with this garbage. I leased my Lexus CT200H from Keys and it was a great experience. From the moment I got onto the lot, Jay came over right away and was very friendly. He showed me the model I wanted and was extremely knowledgeable about the car. I was able to get a great deal and left very happy. I couldn't recommend Jay more. If you go here, make sure you ask for him. The only bad thing I can say about Keyes Lexus is that there was confusion with their payment system. They don't send bills if you lease a car from them. It's your responsibility to go online or call Lexus Financial and pay on time. Which is fine, but no one there told me. So I didn't find this out until after my first bill was over due. There was no late fee, but it did cause me a bit of stress. So just be careful of that. read more

I guess all what I can say is that, when it comes to servicing my lexus Rx300 or my previous Is 250, I never had any problems with my service writer Anthony Pastoral, warranty or out of packet service I was always approached with a smile and a genuine hand shake(people don't shake hands anymore)and it's even nicer if the guy who's helping calls you by your name. This i why I felt like writing this note.People like Anthony Pastoral is hard to find, especially in this car industry. As a first time car leaser I was very hesitant and nervous about getting a new car. I went to the dealership with an idea of how much I would like to pay/ what car I would like but little knowledge on how to get it. After my first visit to the dealership my worries faded away. I was help by Luis - who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and not pushy. He made getting a new car an enjoyable process and not intimidating at all. Third time's the charm!!! Went to Cerritos Lexus, the deal fell through so we decided to go give Longo Lexus a try. Given that they ARE the biggest dealership in the nation, we were expecting a good outcome. Biggest disappointment ever!! Walking right out of Longo we immediately contacted Keyes and got on the phone with KD. After a heated explanation to him of our previous disappointments, KD gave us an offer over the phone of which we thought was a rough estimate.. But totally beat any deal any other dealerships had given us on an is250 F Sport for an is350 F Sport. He was happy to hear we were calling straight from the Longo parking lot due to their heated rivalry.. Lol As our last resort, we decided to take the one hour drive to Van Nuys straight from the Longo parking lot. We got greeted at the door and directed to the cafe where they're stocked up with water, soda, and treats.. also something Longo and Cerritos lacked in. Anyways, in less than 5 minutes KD and Ryan already had the car by the door waiting for us to test drive it. On our test drive we were accompanied by Ryan, who helped us out the rest of the deal. After the test drive we were convinced to get the is350 F sport. So we went back inside and waited on Ryan and KD to come back at us with offers and other stuff car salesman usually bombard you with. NONE OF THAT.. We went in, test drove, and basically started paperwork with the numbers that were discussed on the phone. At first, we were very confused as to what was going on because we thought it was an estimate and we were gonna get a speech of some sort when we got there. THESE GUYS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. The same numbers and deal that was discussed over the phone were the same numbers we got on the contract. Skeptical at first, we knew there had to be some sort of catch.....there wasn't!!! Ryan took care of the whole thing and made us feel welcomed to come back to Keyes. Glad to say we are now proudly driving a 2015 Lexus IS350 F Sport all thanks to Ryan and KD. FOR SURE going back with these guys for our NX F Sport ;) P.S. Thanks again to Ryan and KD for some awesome customer service that not only beat Cerritos and Longo dealerships but our expectations as well :) read more

Once the liability waiver was signed, I felt free like Andy Dufresne from Shawshank Redemption. My second appointment was at Keys Lexus. What a great experience! The guys at Keyes Lexus took an unfortunate miscommunication, and totally turned it around and exceeded my expectations. They treated me as their equal, instead of just trying to make a sale(which I had been dealing with at many other dealerships during my car search). Buyer be aware! Don't trust them! Study about the fees before going to the dealer. Don't excite the bargain price you negotiated. Make sure to ask the sale tax, dealer fee, DMV fees, and miscellaneous fees are included in the negotiated price. They are snakes wearing the Lexus skin! Don't sign anything until you check all itemized fees. They will slip in all kinds of adds on fees on the top of the negotiated prices. In my case, the negotiated price with the salesman and the final price with the financial manager on the second floor was way different. The cash down was 2000$ more. Then they charged me a coating fee and theft code fee for $2300. Basically, they jacked up the price to the MSRP. All my family members are royal Toyota customers in Japan. I thought "Lexus" is different from typical shady car dealers in the USA. Toyota's original intention was to build a well reputable luxury car dealer network. Hard to believe Lexus HQ is still allowing the dealers to do the business in such a shady way. I hope this will help to prevent other victims. I was so angry and felt so misery after I found out that I've been ripped off. Car shopping should be fun and exciting, but bitter feeling! I will try to write up this experience to Lexus International President in Japan. Happened to be he is my university's alumni. read more
