The work is OK. But let me preface by saying the Two stars isn't about the work. It's about the the inability to explain over charging that's contrary to the price list on the wall. They up charged me $10 dollars for a basic gel fill. Per the pricing board on the wall, it states the gel fill in is $30. She charged me $40 dollars and when I asked for her to explain because all I got was a plain "no frills," no design - natural gel fill. She looked to the young man to try to explain - he pointed to the price for a "new set" and began stammering because he himself knew his flimsy explanation is not only inadequate but wrong. An integrity of a business is also a very important component in a decent business providing decent service. The gel fill manicure was decent - at best (the gel is too thick and wide - she needs more practice with shaping) which is why I am giving this place 2-stars... her work made me regret not waiting for my regular manicurist. Not only am I stuck with this remedial work for at least week, but my manicurist will have *fix all this! Ugh! I cannot return or recommend this place to anyone because they are swindlers! I was utterly disgusted with what they did seeing as I can see and read. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

She works so hard and still finds time to talk to her clients and check on their nails to make sure everything's going well. I got this powder manicure done by Jerry and I loved it. He helped me pick out what colors Would look best together and took the time to do really cute free hand mini stars on my nails. This is my second time going here and I'm always gonna be coming back! I had a different nail artist do my nails the first time I came here and she was just as good and my nails came out bomb AF and lasted 4 weeks. I unfortunately don't know her name! I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came for a simple acrylic fill, yet left very upset. I was cut multiple times on my fingers. I asked for a simple white french tip design which ended up looking like a 4 year old just scribbled on my nails. I politely told him that I was unhappy with the result and he was extremely aggrivated and almost refused to fix my nails. I will never be returning to this salon. read more

I have been coming to this salon since it's opening. I have tried numerous nail salons prior to landing this establishment as my "home base" they have ALWAYS done an excellent job. I currently live in New Jersey and still come here since I know it's a clean, friendly and reliable salon. I read some of the negative reviews and felt compelled to leave they this 5 star review as they deserve it. They work hard and do everything possible to cater to their customers. I understand that at 7:30, when their hard day of work is over, that these people want to go home. I read a few people who left bad reviews saying they felt rushed to leave near closing time, these people have families and lives and deserve to go home after a long day of work. This used to be my go to place. My mother and two sisters go here as well. The past year or so it has gone down hill. Today I got I manicure and pedicure and I was cut so bad that I could not stop bleeding for over an hour. The girl who cut me was unapologetic. When I was finally able to get it painted, I went to pay and they were going to charge me for the manicure. I told them I refused to pay for it. I then asked if the girl who cut me was licensed because I did not see her picture on the wall with the licenses nor did I see anyone else's picture who was working. They told me she forgot it at home but she would bring it tomorrow but I doubt she has one. I'm assuming it was cut because she didn't even use water to soak my cuticles before the manicure. I'm happy they used a disposable liner but everything around the pedicure chair was disgusting. They do not clean the arm rests or the chairs. I couldn't wait to get out of it. Once seated for my manicure the man (manager maybe?) was complaining to the woman who was doing my nails that I changed my mind from a regular gel to a dip powder. Probably because he was more concerned about rushing his customers out of the salon. The entire time I was getting my manicure he was complaining and yelling across the salon. I LOVE this place! I make my way here all the way from Brooklyn because they do such an incredible job! The staff is very friendly and the salon is always tidy. I get the SNS powder gel- where they literally dip your fingers in a bucket of a colored powder of your choosing. The results are very similar to regular gel but there's no UV lights involved. Went to Kerry Nail Spa a few weeks ago as a last-minute decision during my lunch break because I desperately needed to have my powder manicure removed which had been applied at another salon. I was ready to give up on powder manicures because I had the same issue of them being too thick anywhere I had them done. I explained this to them and, after they assured me that they do not have that issue, I decided to give it one last try. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Abby was the tech that worked on me that day. And two weeks later, I was back again at her station. It has been more than two weeks and they still look amazing. The only reason I'm making a third appointment in the next few days is because I want a new color. Otherwise, they are good enough to go for a while longer. Have yet to try any other service there. Started coming to this place 2 years ago after a friend referred me. Gel manicures are so good. They last 3 weeks and don't chip. I've also gotten regular manis/pedis and they do such a good job. People are writing good things about Kerry nail salon. Well let me tell you I went several times and all they do is rub and put stones on your legs. This salon NEVER scrubs the bottom of your feet. So anyone that goes here might have nice toe nails with bottom crusty feet. I stop going because of that and when Amy cracked 2 of my toe nails in half I was done! It took 6 months for my toes 2grow back properly. I noticed some of the clients getting angry with the techs because the aggressiveness when cutting your cuticles. This place will not service me again. Kerry and her husband have the best of you fooled. They can get in their white van and drive right out of Rockland County. I should have sued. Anyway I moved on. Two stars because of the autoclaved tools and disposable basin liner. The place is clean. Been here three times and each time the pedi gets worse. First was okay. Second chipped within a week, and now the third... There is still dark polish underneath the new polish. The polish is uneven and thin in spots. Funny thing is that it wasn't a rush job either. Will give them one more try and will be very vocal if it doesn't look good. Otherwise I'll find a new place. read more
