Do not use Kerb, there is a reason they have the lowest rates...you get what you pay for! My 2 movers showed up late, told me as they showed up cash only (even though I paid the deposit on my card). We do a walk through and they quote me at 3-4 hours max. Mind you it's a 1 bedroom with not much to move. The guys moved at a snails pace and were often seen and heard fooling around, wasting time. All my boxes were labeled yet noting was put/left in the same room. Also see the pictures on how they left everything! When I realized all the damaged they had caused (2 broken dressers, dented/chipped desk, broken lamp, ripped mattress, broken couch, scratched coffee table, and broken bed frame) I called to complain. The lady was friendly and filed a claim for me, but I never heard anything. I called a few weeks later and was told they are under new management and it's not their faults they shouldn't have to fix it. They offered me a $300 refund from the $800 I spent to have them ruin all my belongings. My next complaints is with the BBB! Save yourself the headache and pay the extra to go with a creditable and reliable moving company, because Kerb has horrible movers, worse management, and little to no customer service.

Scapes and mystery glass stuck to the side of my storage unit.

Pros: 1. Cheap. Much cheaper overall price compared to price quotes from other companies. Very transparent pricing with flat hourly rate. Crew was courteous with the times they started/stopped and tended to work at an efficient speed given the amount of stairs involved in the move. 2. Friendly. Crew was always pleasant. Cons: 1. Organization/promptness. The crew was over an hour late with no communication. I called several times for an update with no answer. Finally I got through to someone who said he would figure what's going on. Shortly afterwards I get a call saying they are 5 minutes away (short notice after already being an hour late). 2. Carefulness. Literally EVERY single piece of my furniture got scraped and/or broken. Two of my storage units got completely scraped up and it's not even on the bottom, so it's clearly visible when upright. I know furniture gets damaged during moves; however, when I looked in the truck there were plenty of moving pads available in a neat pile but ZERO were on my furniture! Instead my furniture was poorly staked on each other (even though it took up 1/3 or less of the truck) and was clearly drug across the floor (see picture where there's mystery glass stuck in the side of my storage unit?). My TV stand was also broken with the door completely off and the top scraped. They didn't even bother to mention the broken door to me, and I noticed it after they had left. I had to purchase material to fix it (no picture as I fixed it before thinking to take one). My desk chair didn't even make it out without getting scraped on the back! Overall, depending on how much you value your furniture, the price difference may or may not be worth it. If you have nice furniture and want it to stay nice, avoid this company. If you have time restraints on your move, this company also may be a poor choice as cancellations/tardiness are common trend among reviews. If you have cheaper furniture, a small move, and a flexible move timeframe, they could be the movers for you since they charge hourly with one hour minimum as opposed to four hour minimums many other companies charge.

Claimed truck was 'full' despite being half full. Movers were instructed not to unload our items at our destination, UNTIL payment was made (which how can that be if time to unload was not accounted for?). Damaged walls and items. Had to call 2 friends to help unload the truck. Hands down the worst company I have ever worked with.We used them for a move on April 2024 to move our items from our townhome to a house that was 0.3miles away. The move took 6 hours longer than expected, despite having already broken items down and made them easily accessible. The moving crew had 0 equipment and were extremely unskilled in moving the most basic items, including a mattress. They called a week before the move to get an estimated list of items that I would need moved, during which on the phone call that I explained I was currently travelling and can only list of what large items come to mind and approximately 25-30 boxes for the miscellaneous items. There was no follow up email sent to gather a formal list of all the items needing moved. On moving day, movers were 2 hours late and 2/3 workers showed up in an unbranded moving truck that did not have a ramp. I walked the movers through our townhome and showed them everything that needed to be moved. However, it became very apparent that the movers had no experience in how to move out a house. They were unnecessarily wrapping things that didn't need to be wrapped, and did not know how to move a mattress as it took around 30 minutes to get it down 2 normal flights of stairs. It wasn't until hour 2 of 6 of moving out that the third mover showed up. They spent a total of 6 hours trying to move our well packaged and organized items out of the townhome. I spoke with Michael Dunne who asked me what is going on and why is it taking so long to move out. I explained that the movers were disorganized and lost with this move out process, and that the truck did not have a ramp. One of the movers came back to me and said that they couldn't take half of the items I showed them because it was 'not on the list' - the estimate list that I read out over the phone while travelling. We were 5 hours into this move out process that should've taken no more than 1.5-2 hours with any other company. They also claimed the truck was 'full' even though nothing was stacked. I also had to help them move some of the bigger items into the truck myself. 6 hours into the move, Michael Dunne called one of the workers and said they had to move onto the destination right up the street and start unloading. Extremely frustrated at this point, I agreed to move on and we'll come back for the other items ourselves - Michael Dunne got me to schedule another pickup in a few days, during which a $100 deposit was made. When we arrived at the unloading destination, the movers were instructed not to open the cargo door until a full payment of $2081 was made, PRIOR to unloading the items. This was around 2x what was quoted as they were charging for 'extra time' due to their inability to support a proper move-out. How do you know what to charge hourly if you haven't done the unloading process yet? They parked on a very busy street and not our driveway, despite me requesting the drivers to park in the driveway or even our front lawn. They refused, stating "we are not a traffic company, we are a moving company. F**k the traffic". Multiple items damaged, walls damaged, it took until 9:30pm (9.5 total hours) to have 75% of our items moved out of our townhome that we can still see out of the window from our new house. It took multiple emails and phone calls to cancel the follow up move and receive my $100 deposit back. I never received the signed contract at the time payment was made, and emails and phone calls have not been answered.

However, the movers were an hour late and showed up with an extra person than I was not originally quoted. Which is fine, if it doesn't change my quote, but what I was charged ended up being expodentially higher than what I anticipated based on the quote. Especially since I moved a majority of my items before they arrived. I had most of the items already ready and took apart and put together my bed itself. I even assisted helping move what I had left by loading the smaller items in my car. I moved most of the items before they even arrived so they had really only had the heavy/bigger items that I couldn't take myself. There were also 30 minutes I couldn't even find the movers, even after calling them. I had moved 6 minutes down the road but it took them over 30 minutes to arrive. I had driven back, double checked they got everything, locked everything up, came back to the new place, and still waited another 15 minutes. So they were off somewhere unknown to me. This also lowered my trust in their service. When I asked for an itemized receipt so I could double check how I was being charged, I never heard from them again. If you do decide to use this company, you should know that the quality is excellent because they take care in how your items are moved, their professionalism and communication is great but you may hear them complaining if items are heavy. I think the funniest comment I heard from them was "Everything is heavy Up in this Crib". I would recommend ensuring someone is there the entire time to ensure you track when they leave and when they arrive at the new location and have them itemize the receipt before sending you the bill. A vague receipt won't do to make sure you aren't overcharged.
