One of the reasons I chose them is they provide boxes and bring them directly to your location which was awesome and helpful for me. With the craziness of everything else I had to deal with with moving, it was a relief to have one more thing checked off my to do list. This is included in the move price which was competitive in comparison with other moving companies I checked out. They did a great job and were careful and efficient. We had an issue getting my couch through the door of my new apartment (door was too narrow) and they were kind enough to end the move and not charge me for the extra hour it took to figure out and solve the problem. This business provides great service at a reasonable rate. I needed a sofa sectional moved, and called many moving companies who offered me not so affordable rates. Even better, these guys provided transparent quote with no extra charges. When I contacted Anna (office representative), she was very kind, emailed for clerifying all the details, and even provided some discount. She helped to schedule me, and the movers could relocate the furniture the same day. Roman (the crew leader) and his helpers came my place on time and were very awesome. They were very attentive as well while transporting the furniture to the new location. Everything went smooth. They put even an extra layer of wrapping, when I asked to add it. We did 2 moves a week apart with Pittsburgh Movers and they were fantastic! We moved our home into a storage unit, then the following weekend we moved into an apartment. Mike, Lucas and Dimitri called 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Once they arrived, they asked to see all of the rooms and then went right to work! They shrink wrapped all of the furniture and used moving blankets, taking extra care of the wood items. They loaded their very clean and organized truck quickly and with care. Once at our destinations they were just as efficient asking where we wanted things. These guys are very polite, hard workers. I have moved too many times to recall, mostly cross country and Mike Lucas and Dimitri are the best there are! If you're planning on moving, I would use Pittsburgh Movers! Booked Kerb through Yelp. They responded quickly and it was very easy to book appointment. Their quote and fees are very transparent and ends up being cheaper than most of the other moving companies. Also used the Yelp voucher which I was a little skeptical about, but they took no problem. In terms of the actual move, my wife and I moved from our 2 bedroom apt to our new house. They (Julius and Keith) showed up right on time and did an amazing job. Their truck was plenty big and they had all the equipment they needed to protect our belongings. They moved everything very efficiently, but were also careful with every item. I was expecting scrapes on walls of our new house as we have some tight staircases, but the only scratch was from me carrying something on my own after they had left. I used Kerb Pittsburgh Movers on a Saturday morning to move from a one-bedroom apartment into a house I am sharing with a roommate located about 15 minutes away. Two movers arrived right on time. They were very friendly and careful while handling my furniture and belongings. It was estimated that my move would take approximately 3 hours, and it took 3 hours exactly, so there were no added/surprise costs. Through no fault of the two movers, there were not enough clothing racks in the truck, so I still had to make a separate trip later in the day using a friend's truck. I would suggest to the company that more clothing containers be available on their trucks. Other than this minor issue, I was pleased with Kerb Pittsburgh Movers' service and would recommend them to coworkers, friends, and family in the Pittsburgh area. read more

An absolute nightmare. I wish I could put negative stars for a rating. They called an hour before the arrival window on Friday to say they could not move me they will be there in the morning. What choice do I have...They never showed in the morning so of course I call and they will now move me Monday that came and went don't laugh but 5 appointments 8 days later before someone showed. I had to pay tenants rent since they could not move in my house. Lost a months rental income. Pay utilities for 2 properties. Baby sitters each time they were coming. Could not eat or drink much all week with all my stuff packed up so out for coffee etc all week. My move was only 3 miles apart in Pittsburgh area and not alot to move but they had to make 2 trips? I would be amazed if they are in business much longer. read more

They did a great job moving us recently. At the beginning I was satisfied with their estimation with no extra charges or hidden fees.Their fair and affordable rates were a great surprise for us. Their office representative called us several times for confirmation and necessary information. We got a crew of 3 movers (Ron, Paul and Sam). The guys came on time and started working at once. That was very hot day, but our movers didn't complain and did the jod perfectly. They were quick, but did not damage corners and walls. The furniture was packed perfectly and transfered with no scratches. The movers were very easygoing and awesome. When we arrived to the new location, they put the stuff right in its place. We just moved from California to the Pittsburgh area and utilized the wonderful services of Pittsburgh Movers. I cannot say enough great things about Mike and Dimetrey who helped us. They were very punctual (they even a little early which is GREAT on moving day!) and could not have been more professional and kind from the moment they came to the door. They were very careful with each and every piece of furniture and every box, regardless of fragile. Our stairways are narrow, yet they maneuvered very carefully and got everything to its designated room safely. They managed to move everything in under 3 hours which we really did not expect, but it was a nice surprise. Awesome! I booked them through yelp and they responded quickly--very easy to book and they were accommodating since I didn't know my exact move in time slot yet. I was nervous because I have never gotten movers before, but Jerome and Trey showed up right on time and got everything packed up incredibly quickly. It was terribly hot and humid in my house but they were completely focused on getting everything on the truck as fast and efficiently as possible. Once we got to my new place (moving from Southside to Downtown) they were, again, very fast and efficient. I didn't have an entire house to move or anything, but I was still really impressed that the entire process took less than 2 hours. I sent the email to multiple companies and 99% of them had no issue providing me with a quick and reasonable estimate. The message contained a lot of detailed information, compiled into a brief and easy-to-read email. Two days later (long after I've already secured a guaranteed rate from a competitor), Pittsburgh Movers finally got back to me without any information other than a phone number to call. Lame. Now, I'd love to give 1-star and move on. However, as important as customer service is... it isn't the only thing that matters, and they very well may be terrific at the labor portion of the job. When searching, be sure to negotiate any prices given to you - as most companies will lower their estimates and guarantee the rate if pushed hard enough. Happy hunting. read more

I could not have had a better experience with this company! I sent a message on Yelp and heard back right away. It was super easy to schedule, and the morning of I got a phone call ahead of time from the supervisor then another call a few minutes before they arrived. I think the supervisor's name was Jeremiah? He is wonderful... extremely nice, polite and an incredibly hard worker. Just 2 guys moved me out in under an hour, and had me moved into a 3 story house up a horrific flight of steps in less than 2. Both movers went out of their way to be helpful, and they had all of the moving equipment that I didn't. The cost- which was ridiculously cheap considering, seriously please tip your movers!- was the best money I've ever spent. read more

Their movers are outstanding! They came on time and I paid in the end exactly what I had been charged initially. I was really surprised with the speed of their work and their efficiency. Guys just saved my move. I was relocating from a 4th floor apartment into a 2 story house and they didn't leave a scratch on anything. Furniture, walls and floor were undamaged after the move. They never made a break and helped with other questions out of their scope. I like these movers and will advise them to everybody. Also, the office representatives were very useful and got me back immediately, explained every step of the move and controlled everything until the move was completed. I had very difficult relocation, and their movers helped to do it stressfree. I some problem with the house, so I should begin the whole process a little bit later that day, and that seemed to be a night delivery. Plus, the another challenge was I didn't secure parking on the B-side. Luckily, I got the crew of 4 affordable movers (David, Ed, Sam, and Slava), and these guys just saved my day. They were quick, helpful, reasonably priced, and didn't damage any piece of furniture. The movers worked like Tetris robots, and showed good energy and strength. In the past I tried to avoid working with moving companies. But when I needed to move my house I realized that was impossible to do it myself. Noa and David took care of everything and pleased me with the final bill in the end and the stuff in good shape after delivery. First I made some research and contacted to many moving companies before I found this one and went with their staff. So the movers were fast, hardworking, extremely careful of the most fragile items. At the end, after unpacking I didn't find any serious damage or even a scratch. Anyway, my opinion: easygoing, careful, useful, and professional crew of movers. These guys are amazing. I honestly will never call another moving company and will recommend them to everyone I know. They were so accommodating. They moved us out of the old place on Saturday, held our stuff overnight, then came to the new place on Sunday to get us moved in. Easter Sunday! Also, they didn't charge us a thing to hold our stuff overnight! They were on time both days, they were very courteous and respectful with our things, and we enjoyed talking to them. The men who answered the telephone supplied me with all required info and affordable pricing. The booking procedure was simple and swift. The moving company is quick, efficient and affordable. I contacted them for make reservation or a move in a very short notice, when I understood that I could not do it myself. I contacted them 14 hours before the actual move, and the guys came on time the next morning. Movers brought all necessary packing and wrapping materials for heavy furniture pieces, and were extremely careful with the stuff. Their moving services are also more reasonably charged than some other companies are. I paid $$$ per hour for 3 movers and 1 truck. I was granted some discount. Definitely will use these guys again. Now we are in the new house thanks to these great movers. Stan, Onur, Andrew, Den and Alex were super efficient. They arrive to relocate with a very short notice. We called their moving company at 2pm, after another mover wasn't able to assist us in our move. Stan called back to inform that our guys would come to us at 9am. They worked hard, without complain for a long time until our two story 3 bedroom townhouse was completely relocated. The crew packed our stuff themselves.
