Oh my gosh!!! Made a last minute decision to stop here and I was not disappointed. Menu is large, with so much variety. I had such a hard time deciding what I wanted! I ended up getting the Souvlaki Grinder. I was worried for $15 it wouldn't be enough food, but I was wrong. The value is amazing! Staff is kind and helpful. Inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. We decided to try Kephi for dinner and it didn't disappoint. We didn't have a wait once we arrived (unsure if they do reservations we didn't check since it was last minute for us). Once seated we ordered our drinks and appetizer, which was the calamari. It came with a cold mashed potatoes of some sort, which was an interesting choice to serve with calamari. I would order the calamari again, but pass on the cold mashed potatoes it came with. Next we ordered our meals, our party got the lasagna, gyro, and beef kebab. Everyone seemed satisfied with their order. I personally got the beef kebab, I would order it again, but ensure the meat is cooked to my liking. I ordered it medium and it came more on the medium rare side and really needed to be cooked a bit longer. Overall though I recommend this restaurant if in the area. read more

We started with some Saganaki. I ordered the kotopoulo ladolemono and my husband ordered the pasta kotopoulo. Our friends ordered the moussaka and grilled octopus. All the food was fresh, had excellent flavor, and came in what I think are huge portions! Although we were quite full, we had to try the dessert especially when our server was so excited about them. Came here expecting to eat some authentic Greek food with my family in town. I heard of all the great reviews and thought that it must be good. We ordered the feta and olives which was very good. We also ordered the eggplant appetizer which was ok but had no flavor. Three of us ordered the moussaka and all of us agreed that it was horrible and had zero flavor. Husband and daughter had the gyro and they both agreed that the gyros at our usual Greek takeout place was better and with much more flavor. I couldn't decide- literally at least 15 options. We tried two -both delicious. Everything in that case is delicious- I just know it. My gripe the server was way to busy for us. Her impatience and rush was annoying and took away from my experience. I'm sure she meant well but her running away mid sentence several times just made me frustrated. Friends took me to this restaurant for dinner. I really liked the interior, especially the bar area with the blue colors of the lights. We were seated in the back area. Ordered wine and a couple of appetizers: the grilled octopus and Taramasalata dip. I was surprised at the small portion of the octopus, as it looked like only it was half a tentacle, rather than a whole one. Expensive at $18 for such a small portion. The Taramasalata was very runny, not thick like I've had at other restaurants. It was so runny, it was hard to pick up with the sliced cucumbers and pita bread. Disappointing. I had the Braised Beef with rice and vegetables as my entrée. It was very good, although not much in the way of beef. My friends ordered an entrée salad and the Moussaka - also very good. For a Greek restaurant, I would have expected larger portions and more reasonable prices. Tried this for carryout while on vacation and the food was disappointing, but OK. I may have had too high hopes based on some other reviews I read, but the food was, for lack of a better word, meh. It wasn't bad per se, but it was, imho, worse than any Greek food I've had recently closer to home. The best items were the rice and chicken gyro. The least favorite were the moussaka and Greek potatoes. All were largely flavorless; I'm used to having moussaka with tomato and cinnamon and other spices, but the only spice I tasted in this one was salt. The bechamel was pure white unlike yellow, more flavorful ones I've had in moussaka at other Greek restaurants. The potatoes were dry and incredibly bland; no one in my family would eat them (and Greek potatoes have always been a favorite). We will not return. read more

Incredible food. Very fun and tasteful Greek decorations inside. The waiter was kind and helpful, he made sure the Greek frape wasn't too bitter for us. Probably the best tzatziki we have ever had. And the portions were humongous, the Kephi Grinder could probably feed three! We tried this on a whim wanting a sit down instead of to-go Greek experience. We started with spanakopita. My wife got a chicken gyro and I ordered a pastitsio. We agreed that everything was under seasoned to the point of being bland. The spanakopita desperately needed salt and my pastitsio had all of the seasoning hiding in the bottom layer only. I got a to go order from here yesterday and I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and the gyro. I also ordered a piece of baklava and chocolate cake. The salad was okay however the amount of lettuce was pathetic, very small amount, more chicken than lettuce. The gyro was truly the worst I have ever had. I'm Armenian and love Greek food, this was not it. Chewy, fatty meat I couldn't even eat and it tasted old. Not the traditional carve off the block but some sort of chopped up strips. The baklava was the driest I have ever had, saw dust, no syrup at all. I called and the manager refunded for the gyro and didn't offer anything else. Would never recommend this place. Someone needs to teach them how to cook real Greek food and it's overpriced which if it had been good I wouldn't have cared. read more
