A beautiful interior! I came here for takeout and was happy to see that it was empty! I had high hopes for my Ruben sandwich- Service was friendly but pretty slow- My Ruben was okay-really disappointed that it was just average-My daughter had a "hot holly" and it was good! I would definitely try this again-and get a different sandwich!

Loaded hashbrowns - what's left after eating more than half

Flavor & value! When in doubt, always go to the local Greek bar & grill for breakfast. Big fat Greek breakfast was all that!! Large local sausage links and Chef's meat was a chicken skewer with all the delicious Greek flavor. Loaded hashbrowns had the perfect medley of fresh, seasoned ingredients from the tender potatoes with the right blend of Greek spices to the seemingly locally sourced smoky bacon & lightly peppered sausage with a touch of melted feta and side of homemade gravy it was everything craveable on Sunday morning! Service by Hillary was spot on as were the jams on the jukebox. The coffee was delicious too! Don't miss this spot!

Gyro

Gyro was good, lamb was tender. Seasoned fries were very salty. New York sub was light on meat and heavy on mayonnaise, not a combo that I would expect. Ambiance is more of a bar than a deli, with a bar featuring a wide range of brews. Black painted concrete floors and aged wood add to that feeling. Okay, but not the best.

Supposed to be fries and pasta salad. I was so looking forward to this.

Caitlin was an excellent waitress at Paul's in Newtown. Tuna tacos were good. The restaurant is not crowded.

House made Pastrami was delicious-go with the 1 lb (buy the pound) Pastrami sandwich -at least 2 if not 3 sandwiches in one. Corned Beef was also tasty and some of the best we've had. Latkas and Dill potato salad hit the spot but the Garlic Dill fries stole the show-one of a kind and not to be missed. For dessert, we saw they had Hamantaschen and got one of each-both very good with rich fruit spread topping. Service was engaged and patient (given our questions and recommendation requests) as our order was being placed. An extensive menu with everything from Beef tongue sandwich (Jewbano) to Chicken Liver as well Hot Dogs and Smoked Salmon and Whitefish. We wanted it all! Liked the atmosphere and decor with booth and bar stool seating. A must stop when visiting Richmond!

As a vegetarian, I do wish they had more options, although the staff has always been accommodating. My go-to is the Schnorrer with scrambled eggs and a potato latke, which is always a solid choice and even includes coffee. Their bagels are absolutely to die for! I always get the everything bagel with regular schmear, and it's delicious. I've also tried the vegetable knish, which was okay, but not something I'd order again. The sandwiches always look amazing, and I really wish they offered a vegetarian version. Overall, a great Richmond staple with good food, but the limited vegetarian options and difficult parking do affect my rating!

Came here recently with my parents and fiancée and loved the cheese and sandwich selection. Grabbed a few of the ham and cheese mini-sandwiches and they were delicious. The bread ends are a nice (and affordable) treat, though you have to get there early-ish before they sell out. The service was great as well, very pleasant cashier. While the bread ends are indeed a great deal, the other items were definitely on the pricey side. For a treat, though, well worth it! Overall: 4.0 stars ---- Pros: - Excellent cheese and sandwich selection, and delicious! - Cheap bread ends are great. - Very attractive shop. - Excellent service. Cons: - You are definitely paying for an elevated experience, and that makes this more of a special occasion endeavor.

We didn't get a chance to try anything since it was close to closing time, but I can definitely see this place getting super busy on the weekends.

The staff were the embodiment of kindness and hospitality. They treated us so well. We got lunch while there, at their deli in the back, and wow it was delicious. I got the kofta combo and we split the konafa for a dessert and I cannot recommend both of those dishes enough. It was fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. And I got an iced pistachio latte, which was fantastic. My boyfriend got a chicken shawarma wrap & fries and he loved it. They have a seating section in the back that is cozy and humble, and another seating section in the front that looks like a tea room to me. As we were waiting for our food to come out a sign at the deli caught my eye, it said: if you're hungry and you can't pay for the food it's free. My eyes welled up with emotion seeing such a kind gesture at this business, it shows you they have good hearts (as well as good taste). The market itself was tantalizing, so many marvelous things to pick from, and foods that you can't easily find around here. Much of the products made in Palestine, Lebanon, Turkey, and America. Lots of good coffees, teas, spices, olive oil, sweets, frozen dinner foods, on and on! You MUST go check this place out asap!! Jerusalem market has been on my list for a while, and we liked it so much there that we plan to keep going back. They made us feel like family. I always get the philli cheese and it is awesome, but today my friend and I wanted to try the chicken shawarma and gyro wrap. Both were delicious, but I did ask for some tzatziki sauce to dip the chicken shawarma wrap. I ended this visit with some baklava and I loved it. The staff is friendly and nice and it's a nifty little place to enjoy a good lunch or dinner. I am definitely going to continue coming here.
